Our home has gotten WAY out of control the past 2 years for a few reasons. I'm dreading the work ahead, but I know the reward is great when it's done! To answer your question, when the house is in normal order, I do prefer the Marathon cleaning because it leaves me with the feeling of knowing it's ALL done and looks great and I feel better about relaxing and taking some time to myself! However, I do small cleans throughout the week as needed. Thank you for another great video and for sharing your beautiful home with us. Also for being so REAL and letting us see your home and dishes messy. I can only imagine that doing so leaves you a bit anxious but no judgement from here at all! It's always nice to know I'm not the only one ☺️ Keep up the great work! (So sorry for the long comment)

I would do marathon cleans when I was younger. I’m 60 now with major back and knee problems so I have to do short spurts. I love watching marathon cleans. Happy New Year!
So true! In our small appartment, it take 2 hours at two to range and clean objects ans dishes, wash cloths, clean and desincfect floors, walls, tissu things, ventillations and windows. It's so sastifiing and fast to do.
We moved to a large house a few years ago and I never could have fathomed how much cleaning it takes to keep it looking just acceptable! It is so much work. Smaller homes are great!!
@@mamarose9926 See, I wasn't going to admit that my house is that bad, but yeah, I'm right there with you! I swear being a slob was just built into my DNA or something.
When you clean the floor of bathroom and you start around the toilet and then continue and use that cloth all around, you basically drag all the germs to the cleaner side of the floor.
This is why I don't even remotely understand her "s pattern" idea... you're still dragging the germs all around, germs don't care if they came from a swipe or a zigzag, they ain't gonna die from your pattern work 😂
Thank you for being real and letting us see the real mess! It makes you more authentic and makes me feel so much better. I’m a bit of a hoarder and cleaning is just daunting. I love watching your videos. You always make me smile. Thank you❤️
Even when I clean my 1 bedroom apartment daily for 30 minutes, that's never enough! Are you kidding, it takes a good hour at minimum per day to keep my home tidy and clean. I WISH 30 minutes would cut it.
Faith I just do what I need , 1 day trash out , another vacuum, another day mop , another dusting , not all in ones , another day clean windows , laundry or what need to have done .
@@claudiashairstudioellicottcity I take that approach as well but even with my weekly cleaning schedule it still takes 1-2 hours per day. I'm just slow I guess lol.
I do like the awesome marathon clean results.....but coming home everyday or waking up to a mostly clean house on the regular helps me be less stressed and feeling more accomplished on the regular.
Same..even when I'm busy with work and the kids i will spend at least 15-20 minutes (which is so short) to clean up my house esp the room and kitchen..
That is so true! Strangest part for me is that I'm finding there's less & less that actually needs to be done. Once I get up & start moving around, I'm finding less to be done than the day before. Yep, that's a great feeling! 😉👍🏽
I would love it if I could do even the short cleans my house is like a hoarders house very depressing but you have inspired me and I will try to get something done today. I really like your total honesty
Loved this! I've been needing to spring clean and since we are all at home now... this has been a life saver for me! I prefer to keep things tidy and then clean as needed but then I neglect stuff. So a marathon clean with a little help from the family on a weekend always makes our house look AMAZING. Plus we've been decluttering big time this last year and our home is easier to keep up with and looks nicer when we do clean.
My "system" for cleaning the toilet: first I use a toilet brush to scrub the inside of the bowl, and then I do the handle, the lid, the top of the seat, and then the outside of the bowl and the base. Lastly I do the inside of the lid and the underside of the seat and then the bowl rim, because those are the germiest areas. I also always close my lid before flushing when using the toilet to prevent bacteria from spraying everywhere.
My system is i clean cistern, handle, outside of toilet lid and work downwards on the outside. I then dispose of the cloth. I then use rubber gloves and scourer to clean inside lids, seat and toilet. My gloved hand can get everywhere! I then throw gloves and scourer away. Its a personal thing I dont have a brush because I feel like the 'stuff' sits next to the toilet. I buy cheap rubber gloves, and scoures in bulk. And i made a pretty sign reminding everyone to close the lid before flushing.
Fae Browne buying rubber gloves is wasteful n expensive even if just a dollar a pair. I just buy a box of nitrile or latex gloves. A box of 100 for $7. Look for it in the glove section, it should be beside the rubber gloves. I only use one glove to clean the toilet.
@@faithtomorrow Of course it is excessive. They work out at around thirty pence a pair. Since childhood I can't tolerate anything in the toilet. Could be a phobia. I dont use the ones at work or any other public loo. Pathetic perhaps but if they have been down the loo, I wont be using them again. We all have our 'thing' I guess this is mine 🙂
Great job! My energy is gone after a major kitchen clean up so it takes me days to get the house clean. I'd give anything for more energy and joints that don't hurt, so any tools recommended to make the job easier are very welcome!
Hej Melissa! Yes, I like to watch your videos! I wonder: Do you wash the micrfibercloth after each use? Do you rinse them in water and use them again, for example the next day? I see, that you use the hole cloth every time. You don't fold it, when you use it? I will appreciate if you can answer these questions! Thank you, Melissa, from Stockholm!
Thank you so much for keeping it real and showing us that your house gets messy just like ours do! I also appreciated you saying that the full cleaning took about 5 hours...I was wondering as your video made everything so quick and easy. I definitely need to work on decluttering this year so I will have less to clean up. Thank you so much for all you do! :)
@clean my space: I watched your video with my youngest son (6years old) and he cleaned the dining table with my orange oil cleaner & leather chairs with leather wipes! YAY!!! 🎉Thank you ♥️
I’ve been trying to do small cleaning sessions, but I realized it makes me feel like I’m never finished. Carving out a chunk of time for a marathon clean is harder, but then I’m done!
I do smaller cleaning sessions and it’s not overwhelming. Is what works best for me and then I rest for a week and a half or so then I start it all over again. It lets me clean deeper whatever I’m cleaning, dusting, etc. that day. Takes me a week to deep clean the whole house. 2 bedroom, a den, 2 full bathroom house. Then every couple of months I tackle the closets and organize them.
I put things away after use and don’t have clutter in my home. That said, on Saturday I dust the entire house. My husband, who’s wonderful & insists on helping me, vacuums the entire house on Sunday. On Monday, I clean the bathrooms & mop all floors. It helps to time what needs to be done & schedule that time into my weekly living. This way on days I don’t feel like doing my housekeeping chores, I can justify getting them done by recognizing how long it will take. Dusting = 1.5 hours, bathrooms (2) = 1 hour, Mopping 1/2 hour. It’s completely manageable. I have laundry on a weekly schedule too, so it doesn’t become overwhelming. Your videos have help me a lot. 😊
Hi Melissa! I like to do specific things during the week like dust one day, vacuum one day, mop the floors, one day etc., so that my house pretty much stays clean. However, I went crazy this weekend and spend about six hours taking down my christmas trees and decorations. I know what you mean--such a relief and sense of accomplishment!!
Cleaning out my luggage that was soaked by an entire bottle of hair product! Thank you for showing your kitchen; I felt a little less sorry for myself.
Now that I'm "older" I no longer clean marathon style. Thankfully the routines I've developed these last few years and Melissa"s videos have, kept my home in pretty good shape. Thanks for the motivation today Melissa!
I like 5-10 min clean ups . I do this through out the week ... once a week a spend a quick one hour dusting / windexing/ vacuuming / mopping.. this helps me keep my home guest ready at all times
Lashlove16 this is exactly what I do, I also keep my house clutter free and if things are here and there I put them back in their place soon after I use them so basically what is left to do once a week it’s just vacuuming and mopping the floors. Even if I don’t deep clean my house for a long time It always looks clean and tidy.
You have inspired me to time myself and make a list of 10 minute chores. I can convince myself (most days) to do one each evening and it has made the weekend cleanup so much easier
Pretreating is Key if its 5 or 10 mins. Biggest pet peeve is people who pretend like its a leave overnight treatment when we all know that what you are really doing is getting out of doing the hardest job in the kitchen and leaving it for me!!!! :D
The cinderella method for cleaning the floor is great. You get a close up view of everything and can really get into corners. It’s also great because you can clean skirting boards at the same time.
I have started my own cleaning business at the age of 60. Good to see that I use very similar methods as you do, specific to details I have taught/learned myself over my lifetime. I also spray down pots and pans in kitchen when I first start in there. Pre-treating is key as you mention. I also have decorating history so I just wish I could come decorate your house for you. I am sure you spend all your time and energy into your business and family. Keep up the good work teaching others.
Due to short battery life, I recommend using the Shark Rocket. It has so much power I am amazed at what it removes even from a clean house. I use vinegar, Dawn and Hydrogen Peroxide for cleaning entire house. Started this due to asthma, but have found all of my clients want to get chemical free, too. I prefer using Walmart's cheap wash cloths; 18 in pkg for just $4. Very absorbent. I buy them in packs of different colors and use colors for bathroom, whites for kitchen and cleaning. I encourage others to do one area/zone a day. I also do a lot of organizing so would love to see more videos on that, too.
I finally got to watch this video (2:50am), and it did not disappoint :) This is one of my favorite videos you have ever done! I really find my dh and I have different cleaning "styles." He does most of the cooking (yeah!), but when he does, he does not clean up after himself as he goes. Therefore, when we sit for a meal, our kitchen is a disaster, drives me nuts. Also, I will not do laundry without wiping down the washer/dryer etc. which never crosses his mind... After 42yrs of marriage we "meld" well and find ways to accommodate each other :) Love your channel, simply could not live without it! Your hair btw is especially pretty today :)
Thats so much cleaner then my #2 more equal to a 6 and I clean daily!! I always wash cups first bc i hate them they drive me insane I dony have a dishwasher I hever had one that really cleaned well drove me crazy my stuff cant have a single smudge on them yea im a bit crazy in that
Hi Melissa, thanks for this video! I personally like to do small but frequent and consistent cleans instead of one big marathon only because I feel very tired afterwards and I don’t have 4-5 hours to do it. I watch your videos for tips and inspiration.... thanks ☺️
Jesus. Whenever I do a deep cleaning I wear golves, a face mask, use load of chemicals (the least dangerous ones I can find ofc, or even natural substitutes). But still. I look like s**** when I clean. You look so casual and chill xD
Got 2 sets of your towels for Christmas. I might just take off a day this week to clean my house. I work from home but have no motivation for cleaning -- ever! I need to get your book out again and get motivated. I clean bathrooms and that's about it. I love ALL of your videos and this really showed me a lot. I think my whole house would take 2 full days, and our house is tiny! Thank you for motivating me.
Loved this video! I like to do shorter cleans. However I "reset" the whole house every night before bed so everything has to be tidy for a fresh morning.
With a newborn and toddler sometimes picking up and cleaning gets ignored for a few days. The I turn to these videos to inspire me to go into power mode and feel fresh again
does she ever mention what's in the "purple" bottle that she keeps spraying all over surfaces? did i miss it? i know she talks about an "s" pattern over and over .. are there essential oils in there? curious.
@@mollymcguire2493 oh, that's easy enough, thx 4 noticing. i will try that. i know it works on cleaning your jewelry w/ a toothbrush. never used it 4 cleaning other items. ( ;
I am wondering the same thing about the cleaner. I use a mixture of 1/2 water; 1/2 cleaning vinegar, and a few drops of Dawn in an old Method All Purpose Cleaning bottle. It works well with me and cleans all surfaces.
I am a homemaker and have 5 sons ages 7 down to 11 months and homeschool. I am forever marathon cleaning because it is a lot of work to keep up with, especially in our large home. I prefer my whole house to always be clean and don’t like when I know there are large areas that require work. It would be a whole lot easier and achievable if I had hours on end to work, but when you factor in all the distractions and kids playing and undoing the work I’ve done, it just doesn’t last long. :)
I personally prefer to have the whole house clean at once. However, I, and probably most other people who work, just don't usually have the time for that.
1. Why would anyone not like a cleaning video? Like if you don't like it don't watch it that is so weird to me. Two. I can't fathom what it would be like to be able to clean for 5 hours straight in one day. I am lucky some days if I can clean for an hour straight. And it wipes me out the rest of the day. stinking autoimmune diseases man. I'm really enjoying your Channel! My mother had one of those homes that never looked lived in but never made me lift a finger so I'm 41 and still have a house that looks like it's run by a twelve-year-old. I find your videos very inspiring! Keep up the good work!
I'm super late to the party here, but I really love the top you're wearing (the black with wobbly white stripes) - it looks really comfortable, and I'd love to know where you got it, if you're comfortable sharing that information? :-) Also, my tip for cleaning... get good music going. I find that I end up singing along and dancing while I clean, which makes somewhat fun. I take 30-second-dance-party brakes now and then. lol it all gets done anyway, and my husband gets an hour long concert featuring me, so we both win! lol
I was brought up learning the art of clean as you go, make time to do a little each day, and then the overall cleaning/tidying tasks are not so big to tackle, takes less time and effort leaving you feeling less exhausted and more pleased with the result of the task done, its what my mother calls “daily maintenance cleaning” it works for me and especially with my limited abilities I have to make sure im not overwhelming myself with too much at once, and then leaves me time to rest and relax and enjoy the day.
Your home is absolutely gorgeous! I've watched a few of your videos and have enjoyed each one. I prefer to do the short cleaning missions as opposed to the long ones. Have a great new year!
N Ratan Add some washing up liquid to a cup and fill with lukewarm water. Leave the brushes in there for an hour or so. Squeeze the makeup out and rinse. I then use a dry towel to rub them on quickly and wrap them in the towel so they dry brush end down.
@Clean My Space I really enjoy these cleaning videos. They are relatable and give me ideas and courage when cleaning my own space. Thank you very much. I look forward to more of your videos. 🙂👍
I loved the cleaning video but I almost died when you cleaned changing pad first and smeared the same rag all over the drawers and top of dresser. I work with kids and I know how they spread boogies and soul themselves so all I see is cross contamination!!!😩 I'm not perfect and I can keep a little clutter but germs are my weakness. But I loved your cleaning video, thank you for sharing!
I think the way her microfiber works is that it does not redeposit bacteria as you wipe, it holds until you rinse it, so between that and her cleaning spray the drawer knobs are good. But I understand if it made you squirm a little bit. I wouldn't wipe my toilet and then my fridge like that, but the kiddie room is ok.
yes she should not have cleaned the changing pad first its like when she said make the dishes start from the cleaniest to the dirtiest..Yes cleaning has strategies!
I love this video! I‘be been subscribed for ages but completely underestimated the ability of these videos to assist my husband develop a cleaning routine as well, I love that your home is a normal lived in home. Thanks so much for this video ❤️☺️
Yes but in my opinion a maid, even the most skilled and precise, can't clean like I would do... Maybe it's one of my limit, but I could never have a maid ahahah 😂😅
I think you and Chad deserve a lot of praise for not exposing Riley to the TH-cam channel frequently Children deserve to be children. I am sure she is funny and sweet but you are good parents. Love to all.❤
Can you live with me?? I despise cleaning. Well I don't mind cleaning but I'm terrible at controlling my clutter and organizing to find a space for everything. Motivation to clean drops significantly when clutter is in the way and you don't know a good place for it
Sarah M if I could I would. Clutter does halt motivation since it’s overwhelming. I use to find this to be an issue when I go to my parents house. I break things into little sessions or make bins for trash, donate, and keep. This helps and do small sections and have a time limit. Start slow and work a little bit longer each day. Before you know it, it’ll be clear.
These honestly are my favorite videos. And I love watching these when I wake up because then I will get me and the little man a quick bite to eat and then i start!! I definitely try to do a room or a fee things every day. But of course a full marathon clean happens when your busy!
I bought 2x books of your Clean My Space on Amazon for my mother and sister for Christmas and they can't stop thanking me! I "cheated" by just watching your videos and learning but holy moly your book is a must-have for *anyone*! Btw, I'm known as the cleanest and most organized person in my entire fam. Many thanks for all your hard work and help.
Good job. However, I would never use the same cloth I used on the changing pad for cleaning any other surface. It’s just not sanitary. Happy holidays folks x
Yeah I was paying attention to the clothes too. Yucky. Bathroom floor around the toilet too then used on rest of floor. Also when the husband threw all the bedding on the floor....
First time viewer! I marathon clean every Sunday. I pick up and do small things throughout the week. Some weeks, I miss my Sunday clean and I feel like my whole work week is so disorganized!
That was awesome! 😁👍🏻 With my 3 kids and busy life I prefer to clean some rooms right away and not wait to do my entire house. It gets pretty overwhelming! I clean my two bathrooms pretty often since it’s being used and abused, lol, frequently. I hate dusting though! I’ll vacuum often but not dusting. 🤪 Also, I’m big on Clorox wipes. Is that a bad habit? Thank you. Happy 2020!🎉🎄🎁🍾❄️
The enormous size of American houses is ridiculous 😳🤯 Edit: America is not 'USA only', guys. For European standards, the size of this house is unbelievable enormous. You barely see such big houses here. So please let me just be amazed/irritated/confused/impressed/whatever.
Trust me, this is not an average home size in the US. I live in Florida and most homes don't have more than a single floor. My home and most of my friends homes are around 1000 square feet or less. I know I have much more home space than many people around the world but this is just to point out that the homes you see in these videos are not the norm here either.
I’m a very bad and lazy cleaner! I don’t have any idea where to start, but starting to implement some of the guides, a little bit of the 3-Wave-technic. I really want to clean on a marathon, but I always end up sitting on the couch and resign, because all is so overwhelming, and I do apologize to my friends when they come over spontaneously and I don’t have any time to clean up in the first place! Thank you so much for your videos and advices, hopefully in this new decade I can motivate myself to have a cleaner space for me and my boyfriend. I’ll try to do both, especially when we didn’t have a good clean for a longer time.
Thank you for the realness! Our main goal as a family with 2 under 2 in 2020 is to be more organized when it comes to the chores. You are a huge inspiration in this adventure!
Unfortunately I'm a marathon cleaner. New to your channel and just bought your book. Thank you! These videos will motivate me to be less marathon and more of a frequent cleaner.
I like your clean with me videos - they inspire me! I clean my bathrooms every morning except Sunday and I tidy the kitchen every morning too. I do a deep clean when needed but mostly, I clean as I go. It's less overwhelming for me even though I really do love the whole house clean. It doesn't last long enough unless I kick my family out. LOL Have a Happy New Year!

If this is a “2”, I, afraid what my house is right now 😂😂
Mine is probably a 0, unless the scoring can go lower than 0, if that makes you feel any better. You're not alone!
stifledbabsie 😂 yeah if this is a 2, I’m like -7 lmao
@@mamarose9926 See, I wasn't going to admit that my house is that bad, but yeah, I'm right there with you! I swear being a slob was just built into my DNA or something.
If this is a 2 then my house is a -20...but, I live with 3 slobs and a kindergartner. 🤦🏻♀️
Right if this is a two I'm at like -15
When you clean the floor of bathroom and you start around the toilet and then continue and use that cloth all around, you basically drag all the germs to the cleaner side of the floor.
Yes.. I always do that part last
Just what I was thinking.
anndwight it’s a floor.. unless you have crawling babies it’s not like you’re going to get down there
@@lucieann21 yeah where your feet go and you track it everywhere else and in the bed
Thank you❤️
I clean every day for 30 minutes , I like that idea better , I don’t want to spend all day cleaning my house looks clean all the time
exactly it's take too much time and trouble but when I met with this slippers shoes cover amzn.to/2tLMjxn
omg it is amazing
I agree friend
Even when I clean my 1 bedroom apartment daily for 30 minutes, that's never enough! Are you kidding, it takes a good hour at minimum per day to keep my home tidy and clean. I WISH 30 minutes would cut it.
Faith I just do what I need ,
1 day trash out , another vacuum, another day mop , another dusting , not all in ones , another day clean windows , laundry or what need to have done .
@@claudiashairstudioellicottcity I take that approach as well but even with my weekly cleaning schedule it still takes 1-2 hours per day. I'm just slow I guess lol.
I love how you show your method as well! We all have methods and it just reassures that we all have our way and that’s okay. Love it
I do like the awesome marathon clean results.....but coming home everyday or waking up to a mostly clean house on the regular helps me be less stressed and feeling more accomplished on the regular.
I’m a fan of more frequent cleans to avoid getting overwhelmed
Best way to make a floor spotless: hands and knees method.

Exactly i do that your eye level with the dirt and grime
I also close the lid every time I flush. Idk how people skip that but I guess they aren't germaphobes like us lol.
@@faebrowne2537 you buy a pair of rubber gloves every time you clean your toilet, and then throw it away...doesn't seem wasteful at all. 😂

Haa I was yelling at my TV screen like Melissa no! You missed one! Under the couch, look UNDER the couch! I'm sure she's got it by now.
Yep, I saw it too, but no biggie.
Good questions! I'd like to know as well.
Good questions I would love to know the answers too!
I was wondering the same thing! I hope she answers. 😊
I, too, am curious.
Seeing a kitchen as messy as mine makes me feel so much better as a mama of 3!
I'm a clean freak and seldom feel anyone has the equivalent standards of cleanliness. You are pretty awesome. Thanks for all you do!!
Just what I needed, literally on my phone while I'm supposed to be cleaning , got the notification and started watching
I couldn't clean with a long sleeved shirt, let alone a sweater. And my hair down!
Uneedyn Bowter same
Yup. I agree 🙋
Same. I need my hair tied up with literally nothin but a sports bra, shorts and slippers.
I use an apron and my hair wrapped.
Want a cookie ?
Happy Friday! How are you spending your weekend?
Taking down some Christmas and decluttering so that new toys fit ☺
Cleaning out my luggage that was soaked by an entire bottle of hair product! Thank you for showing your kitchen; I felt a little less sorry for myself.
Yes i love these videos no matter how repetitive they are and always wait for one until i can start my cleaning process to get motivated.
Your kitty watching you clean the kitchen is my fav.
Because cats. ♥️
Luckylovebae see so you understand
You have inspired me to time myself and make a list of 10 minute chores. I can convince myself (most days) to do one each evening and it has made the weekend cleanup so much easier
Pretreating is Key if its 5 or 10 mins. Biggest pet peeve is people who pretend like its a leave overnight treatment when we all know that what you are really doing is getting out of doing the hardest job in the kitchen and leaving it for me!!!! :D
The cinderella method for cleaning the floor is great. You get a close up view of everything and can really get into corners. It’s also great because you can clean skirting boards at the same time.
I do both. Most of the time frequent small cleans. Once a month major clean.
I prefer marathon cleans but because of my limited physical abilities, I have to do smaller frequent cleans. Beautiful home!
These videos are so satisfying & cathartic, like watching pressure washing! I love you guys & appreciate all you do. Have a Happy New Year! ❤🥂🍾
I like both styles of cleaning!
Thank-you Melissa, it’s so good to have a friend to encourage cleaning and to make cleaning fun!
She's on a video with thousands of people watching. I'm pretty sure if she's not on video, she wouldn't look like that
Can you tell what chemicals you use?
The I turn to these videos to inspire me to go into power mode and feel fresh again
does she ever mention what's in the "purple" bottle that she keeps spraying all over surfaces? did i miss it? i know she talks about an "s" pattern over and over .. are there essential oils in there? curious.
Beth Edwards I’m wondering the same thing Beth. I don’t think she ever said.
Beth Edwards I just looked on her website. If she’s using her all-purpose cleaner, it’s a drop of Dawn dish soap with water.
@@mollymcguire2493 oh, that's easy enough, thx 4 noticing. i will try that. i know it works on cleaning your jewelry w/ a toothbrush. never used it 4 cleaning other items. ( ;
I am wondering the same thing about the cleaner. I use a mixture of 1/2 water; 1/2 cleaning vinegar, and a few drops of Dawn in an old Method All Purpose Cleaning bottle. It works well with me and cleans all surfaces.
She said all-purpose cleaner (:
Also, my tip for cleaning... get good music going.
Found you through a dyson review and I clean just like you do! Lol love how you call it the waves!
Your home is absolutely gorgeous! I've watched a few of your videos and have enjoyed each one. I prefer to do the short cleaning missions as opposed to the long ones. Have a great new year!
Hi Melissa
Pls make a video on how to clean make up sponges and brushes
N Ratan Add some washing up liquid to a cup and fill with lukewarm water. Leave the brushes in there for an hour or so. Squeeze the makeup out and rinse. I then use a dry towel to rub them on quickly and wrap them in the towel so they dry brush end down.
I just love that she is a cleaning guru but she shows that she is also down to earth really I thought that only my kitchen looks like this some times
I have chronic pain so I have to do small frequent cleans because big cleans are just wayyy too much for me 😅
@Clean My Space I really enjoy these cleaning videos.
Don't forget she used an all purpose cleaner or at least some sort of solution
yes she should not have cleaned the changing pad first its like when she said make the dishes start from the cleaniest to the dirtiest..Yes cleaning has strategies!

Lol same here
Can you live with me??

The enormous size of American houses is ridiculous 😳🤯
Edit: America is not 'USA only', guys. For European standards, the size of this house is unbelievable enormous. You barely see such big houses here. So please let me just be amazed/irritated/confused/impressed/whatever.
Kaugummiqueen Bloggerin that’s a sweeping generalization lol
She lives in Canada.
Trust me, this is not an average home size in the US. I live in Florida and most homes don't have more than a single floor. My home and most of my friends homes are around 1000 square feet or less. I know I have much more home space than many people around the world but this is just to point out that the homes you see in these videos are not the norm here either.
All we have is 1400 sq ft and that's upstairs and down. Wouldn't want anything bigger, too hard to heat, cool, clean and furnish.
We recently moved from 800sq ft single bed to 1200sq ft double bed.. I think I will not upgrade from this.. this is enough for me.
I just found your channel.. Its awesome, it gives me positive vibes to clean my house.. I just subscribed ❤️❤️❤️😊😊😊😘😘😘
Okay seriously I wish it was as fast as in this video 😂😂😂
Don't we all. Even Melissa would agree. That's why I only spend about 15 minutes cleaning each time, I get so bored with it beyond that.
Her: I’m SUPER lazy
Me: yet you clean for 5 hours???
She let's it build up. You have to clean eventually...
So much value and motivation in your voice over! Love it!
When you started the great room and took that huge breath...I felt that 😂
Thank you for the realness! Our main goal as a family with 2 under 2 in 2020 is to be more organized when it comes to the chores. You are a huge inspiration in this adventure!
Here and there cleaning!! I don't do cleaning the whole house anymore!!
Unfortunately I'm a marathon cleaner. New to your channel and just bought your book. Thank you! These videos will motivate me to be less marathon and more of a frequent cleaner.
Mine is a long marathon clean especially when I’m going to have company over, yeah I’m one of those. Lol
