Hi Melissa really liked this video. Could you do a video on how to tie all routines together. Like daily tasks, weekly tasks, monthly deep cleaning. Some sort of idea ....would be great for working moms. You should write a book about cleaning...
A book about cleaning? I think I have one! That being said, we are shooting this week and a task video is a great idea! I'll pass it onto the production team. Thanks for the comments!

Chorebot: dishes. I hate them and my husband usually does them but not always before bed and I do really enjoy having a clean sink in the morning. Such is life though!
I feel quite good after seeing this. We have 2 main clean days in our house. Tuesday and Fri. The floors get hoovered and mopped, the bathroom gets done top to bottom, sheets get changed 1 of those days. In between we do general kitchen and bathroom bits like cleaning surfaces and the loo daily. Once a month all the floors get steamed as do all the doors and kitchen cabinet doors. The skirting get a wipe down. It's taken a long time to get to this routine with my disabilities. We have windows washed mo they as well and the garden is mowed 2 weekly. We do other bits like my bedroom/sitting room floor mopping daily as I have dogs. It's also been known for my sheets to be changed 3 times a week.
It's only this organised because my son is my main carer. Before this I was lucky to clean my floors each month. At one point it was a few months of non cleaning them because I couldn't physically cope with them
I'm glad my video could provide you with the motivation you needed! Once you start and do it regularly other things seem easier! Let's get this done together and thanks for tuning in! Melissa
I also clean my bathroom floor by hand. There are some small corners at least in my bathroom and flat mop could not enter them so it is easier to do it by hand. Besides, I believe that the pressure on stains is harder with hand than by mop, when we actually stand.

Hey pretty Melissa, thanks for sharing your routine and the reminder, that good enough is the state to strive for! Also, Chads cameo in the bathroom mirror was cute 😂 My robot would have to make the trash plus everything disgusting disappear, plus clean himself afterwards. Could you give some tips for that topic maybe? How to clean out trashcans if the bag leaked and made a mess, without throwing up? Also for pet owners, how to best and easy treat the messes they can make, also if you don’t discover it immediately..? And yes, it’s always on the carpet.
Also as you guys absolutely are experts: lately I had a discussion Wheatley to clean the lint immediately after the dryer is done, because it removes easier if it’s not completely dry and set yet (just as food on a plate), or to wait till it’s cooled off so the plastic netting that catches it doesn’t deform and wear out. Thanks! Your 3-waves have absolutely changed my life!
I wash all floors by hand. I don’t feel like mops are as effective - feels like you’re just pushing dirt around. I have a house full of dogs though so it’s necessary. I’m really here to get motivated to clean lol. Thanks Melissa!

I use a car sponge to clean my bathroom floor one side has a mesh but both sides are microfiber. And I boil my water and use Lysol to clean my floors. I do like the all purpose diy but Lysol and bleach when needed just smells clean
If I had a cleaning robot it would definitely be kitchen cleanup for me. I cook so much and dishes are hard to keep up with. I'm on autopilot with the bathrooms so that's not as big a deal. The kitchen is the second thing everyone see when walking into the house.
I'm at that age where everywhere is hard on my knees. What do you think of Swifter sweepers? For me it's something I can use so I'm not hurting my knees.

Question for Melissa. After you finish cleaning your counters by pushing dirt and hair onto the floor so you clean the bottom of your house shoes? I've been wondering about this. What product or method to clean my house shoes🤔
hello. I have started watching your videos going right back to the beginning and they have given me the motivation to clean and declutter my whole house. Thanks for all the advice.🙂🧹🪣👋👋👋👋👋👌👍👍👍👍
@@cleanmyspace In fact, I do not like chaos, but I want someone to encourage me to get rid of some of the things that I love but do not need, and this is what your advice does. Thank you again.
I would use a Roomba type of vacuum/wash on my floors as I have a dog and the floors need constant cleaning. I hate getting up in the am and accidentally finding where my dog has left a present!
I do my bathroom floor by hand, too. It's not much surface area, and reaching into the nooks and corners around the sink and toilet is easier by hand. Chorebot would clean the toilet.
Because i look fwd to the weekend i do Fri. Chores and Sat. Night chores so things don't pile up. I leave all the washing for Mon. (Unless it's for i.e. something/someone special to wear) The robot could do loads of washing Monday! 😅
I don’t clean my bathroom floor on my knees but I can see the practicality in it. I might even try it. And the answer to your 2nd question: I would love to have a robot doing the dusting in my house. Once a week. Is it asking a lot…
What do you do with all the microfiber towels and such that are to be reused? Do you throw them into the washing machine right away and wash them separately? Leave them to dry somewhere and then put them with the rest of the laundry? I find I always lose my microfiber cloths 🐒
I know everybody has different cleaning routines… I’m someone who just likes to blitz things. I will actually spend three hours on a weekend cleaning and then I don’t have to do much throughout the week. Probably the least used cleaning routine …. Lol.
Three hours of cleaning on the weekend to avoid doing much during the week? Sounds like the ultimate cleaning hack! Who wants to clean when you can chill, right? Maybe this video could cut your time down to 2.5 hours? Thanks for tuning in!

I was that lady that mopped all her floors on her hands and knees for 20+ years. As an older lady now I cant get down there to do that so have started using an O Cedar mop. Guess I am confused about the controversy over how one may clean their floors.
I would like a Stairs Robot. I resist cleaning my winding staircase until even I can't ignore the dust on the stairs! And yes, I clean the bathroom floor on my knees, too. It's small, so I take 2 cloths, and wipe-and-dry as I go. Much quicker.
I've been cleaning by hand for 61 years. Gets into nooks that mops miss. My knees won't allow me to get on the floor, but I still have the hip flexibility to bend over to clean by hand.
I love your cleaning advice! I’m currently using Lysol Kitchen Pro for my kitchen counters but want to start making your homemade spray. Is this something that needs to be made daily? Or can I make up a mixture that will last several days? I won’t be using essential oils. Just the water, Dawn soap and vinegar? Is that right? Also, for the bathrooms, I like washing them on my hands and knee. Getting up close and personal with the dirt and grime helps me see it better 😊 Mine would definitely be a bathroom bot!
Ha! No real expiry to vinegar and dish soap. Depending on your bottle this is your go to and will not expire. Bathroom bot for the big win today! Thanks for watching!! Melissa
Interesting choice! I find dusting somewhat relaxing but to each their own! As long as you do a bit at a time you stay ahead of it. Dust is a killer! Thanks for watching Monica! Melissa
A chore bot for floors would be life changing. I have the latest Dyson vacuum and I love it, but that little green light drives me crazy. My floors never get completely clean. What am I doing wrong? I have 2,000 square feet of hardwood floors on the main level of my home and there is always some hair, crud in the corners stuck to the floor. Occasionally, not often enough, I go around with a cloth and just clean edges and corners, but it is a constant job.
Hmm. maybe send some pics to me, info@cleanmyspace.com and I can try to help. You have a great vacuum but maybe I need to see the floors! Maybe this video will help? th-cam.com/video/zwI8R7rUgEU/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=CleanMySpace Let me know! melissa
I even go to the extent of not drying my sheets and pillow cases, laying them wet on my mattress to refresh my mattress and pillows... I live in Arizona so they dry as soon as I put them on.
We are currently shooting a video to help with your knees! End of the week launch! Hope that helps. If you are mopping, you are doing it right! Whatever works for you! Thanks for watching. Melissa.
Question...I use paper towels to wipe down my toilet, however there seems to be static on the exterior of the toilet and the stuff still sticks to the toilet. Why? And how do I change that.
Cleaning the tub since it's deep and with sliding doors, I don't have access to the whole time I'm cleaning. I usually use a squeegee to clean the doors after showering, but it's the tub itself that's the problem.
I'm not sure how I feel about cleaning the bathroom floors by hand, I've been trying it! I think at this time I prefer getting in there with the Dyson stick vacuum and again with my microfiber mop. Our bathrooms are small and we don't have children yet so once-a-week I can't say they're that dirty so I'd prefer not to get down hands and knees and this time 😂
If there was a cleaning robot when it comes to general cleaning, I would need it for dusting and cleaning various things and surfaces that I don't clean regularly, so I wouldn't have to worry about missing something, but when it comes to everyday duties, I would like it to be the robot cleaned the dishes and the kitchen for me because it's the place where mess appears most quickly.
thank goodness for the internet, stuff like this is something my parents never taught me how to do and i felt a little overwhelmed trying to figure it out by myself. if i could have a chore-bot do something for me, it would have to be either cleaning my shower or putting away my laundry! i'm chronically ill and if i stand up for too long i start to feel really faint and sore, so having that help would be game-changing.

I do have a robot! 3 in fact! A roomba downstairs with a robot mop and a roomba upstairs! Love them! Under beds all over:) Just great!
So cool! Thanks for the comment. Robots definitely do the trick!
@@cleanmyspace Thanks for motivation 😊
What is the vacuum you use.? I have a Dyson but need to get a new vacuum that does well on wood and some carpet, any suggestions?
Chorebot needs to do my dishes. I don’t cook at home because I hate doing the dishes that much!
Cleaning the bathroom 😮.
Yup!
I've been cleaning by hand for 61 years. Gets into nooks that mops miss. My knees won't allow me to get on the floor, but I still have the hip flexibility to bend over to clean by hand.
Good for you! We are shooting a video with you in mind this week so keep any eye out next weekend! Thanks for watching and the comment. Melissa
I would definitely have my robot dust for me. I despise dust so much I'd actually prefer to clean toilets lol
Melissa
@@cleanmyspaceThank you!!
Detailed dusting
Interesting choice! I find dusting somewhat relaxing but to each their own! As long as you do a bit at a time you stay ahead of it. Dust is a killer! Thanks for watching Monica! Melissa
I thought so in the past but my allergies 🤧
Everything is really big in America, houses, cars, and it seems washing machines and tumble dryers. ❤
I also do my bathroom floor by hand. It so small it just doesn't seem worth the trouble to get our a mop
Agree! and you don't miss any spots! Thanks for tuning in.
I’d love a robot that empties and cleans my vacuum cleaners, especially cutting off the hair from the brushes is 🤯
I would pick either fold put away laundry, or dishes.
My chore-bot would do laundry, especially the folding and hanging.
Laundry in the lead!
Who needs a dryer when you have Arizona sun magic, right? So lucky. I love Arizona! Have a good weekend. Melissa
You have my soap dispenser!!!
Sunday is the Sabbath. My day of rest after church.
I use the moon days as the sabbath. Enjoy your rest day and schedule a reset a different time!
I cant use my knees like that anymore, so I vacuum my floor first then I mop the floor twice.
We are currently shooting a video to help with your knees! End of the week launch! Hope that helps. If you are mopping, you are doing it right! Whatever works for you! Thanks for watching. Melissa.
By the way Melissa, 9:09 what type of title do you is it shiny and smooth or more slip resistant?
Cleaning tips when you have a baby please. I feel overwhelmed with seeing the mess. My baby needs me first
Question...I use paper towels to wipe down my toilet, however there seems to be static on the exterior of the toilet and the stuff still sticks to the toilet. Why? And how do I change that.
Cleaning the tub since it's deep and with sliding doors, I don't have access to the whole time I'm cleaning. I usually use a squeegee to clean the doors after showering, but it's the tub itself that's the problem.
Makes sense! The sliding door can certainly get in the way!!
My chorebot would thoroughly clean my floors, under furniture, etc!
Where do you put the cleaning gloves. I throw mine away. That could be pretty expensive
I'm not sure how I feel about cleaning the bathroom floors by hand, I've been trying it! I think at this time I prefer getting in there with the Dyson stick vacuum and again with my microfiber mop. Our bathrooms are small and we don't have children yet so once-a-week I can't say they're that dirty so I'd prefer not to get down hands and knees and this time 😂
I get it!
I'd love the robot cleaning bathroom drain
ew. the drains, we forgot about that one! Needs to be done though! thanks for watching, Melissa
Just a thought, would it not be better to clean the toilet gloves first, and THEN clean the sink rather than to wash them in your clean sink?
I would want a tub scrubbing robot❤
