Thank you. One note to those who had difficulty setting up their wifi connection. If it errors, you want to check your ip addresses. In some cases, you may need to adjust the ip settings on Juliet, up or down, depending on the availability. For mine, the default was set at 200 for the last octet. It failed because my TV was using it. I made the adjustments to find an available host, and it connected flawlessly.
I just switched to a Juliet, and this thing is awesome. There must have been a firmware update because mine completes registration of the page marks in less time than it took for the Juliet shown in the video to travel to the second page mark. Seriously, it registers all 4 in less than 5 seconds. The cuts are incredibly fast, clean, precise, and accurate. I'm cutting holographic sticker vinyl laminated in oraguard 215, with Juliet set to VS 10 and FS 81. I like the stickers to be cut all the way through the backing material. I'm getting the lower tack Siser cutting mat today, and I think it will improve my experience harvesting the stickers from the mat after cutting. Hey sweet lady, thanks a lot for the video. You got me up and running, and made it very smooth experience. You're awesome. This machine impresses me. Glad I made a good choice in purchasing it. It was $100 off at Michael's, too!

Perfect - I needed to know exactly where you line it up. It works wonderful. Thank you!! First time I tried without knowing placement it cut but didn't cut accurate.
I have been one of the lucky ones and not had many problems with Design Space (besides the frustration of constant software upgrades) for the 3 years I have owned my Maker (and the 10 years before that with an Expression) - until about three weeks ago when my print and cut went out of alignment and no amount of calibrating or hacks or TH-cam videos helped. (Still have a call in to Cricut!) I am not afraid to learn new software and think I am ready to upgrade to a Juliet or Romeo. I realize both those machines are considered a cross-over between crafter machines and professional machines but, before I bite the bullet, how responsive is Siser to customer support? I know Siser is new to cutting machines and Leonardo is a new software and as such, still in baby stages, but I need a product I can trust - all around - and grow with. Thank you for your videos. You are one of the most talented and succinct teachers out there!
Great to get started. I'm a brand new Juliet user but would be super helpful to know your cut settings just as a point of reference. I can't find any presets that make sense and miss the chart with suggestions for various materials. Can you say what your cut settings were for this project?

can you apply the transparent clean sheet on the sticker images prior to cutting out? avoiding the registration marks to keep from interfering with the camera?
Hi, Thanks for a wonderful tutorial. How does the Juliet work with transparent photo paper for print and cut ? Can I lay out a full 8.5 x 11 page in photoshop, save as a png, and import in to Leonardo without having to manipulate the files ? Thank you.
You'd have to test on transparent materials and might have to trick it by applying white paper underneath the registration mark areas so it doesn't see the grid lines on the mat and pick those up. Png files currently do not retain their size on opening but it's being worked on.
your explanation how to use the machine is just amazing. I was so frustrated watching other videos until I came across your video :) thank you. I have a question. im a silhouette user and its a bit hard for me to use the new software. so once you do the kiss cut or the offset I want to do a second cut to make it as a sheet. I hope I make sense. it would be amazing if you could do a video. thank you so much again for the video I am finally able to use the machine
So glad the video helped. They are working on making additional cut by line options available in the software. You will need to test this method but I'd start with increasing the force on your cut through line. I do not plan to make a video just yet because the software, options, and features will be updating soon. They have listened to our feedback & lots of new & exciting things coming.
That’s fantastic I truly can’t wait I was so happy when I did my first cut and it was just perfect the offset was on point I’ll wait I’m hoping they will add more features that are useful for sticker makers like the pan pattern feature that silhouette has, adding clipart into objects, scale & image effects (changing colours) etc I have wasted so much of the sticker paper because it won’t cut the offset properly.
Can I print first then cut later? I have a cricut but planning to switch to siser. I dont have a printer and I just have the design printed in a shop then I'll just load the design later. Will that process also work with siser?
@@midnightmia yes, as long as you are using the exact file that was printed. A printing company may not be able to open the LDS file, so you'd have to print to PDF and then have them print that. The printed page would have to match the file EXACTLY and not be scaled in any way. I would test that or invest in a printer for ease of access.
At minute 14 I show lining the blade up. It is just inside the bottom left registration mark that the arrow points to. The tip of the blade is inside the L bracket.
Hi, how do we get the Siser to recognise the white offset border around our stickers? At the moment it wants to cut to the edge of the sticker design. We are silhouette users and trying to convert over!
Programs don't see white when tracing..... when you open the png or jpeg image in Leonardo, increase the offset in the trace window. This will give you a white border around the image.
Thank you! We eventually figured it out! 😊 Do you know if Siser is working on accepting Silhouette files? We have found our PNG sticker sheets are coming into Siser much larger, whereas when we bring it into Silhouette the size is correct - we are unsure why this is happening and it would be ideal to drop in a silhouette file straight into Siser, or, a PNG file that Siser picks up at the correct sizing. Thanks for all your help!!
Hi, Great videos! They're all very helpful since I have recently purchased a Siser Juliet. I'm trying to do a large rectangle die cut but I am running into the problem where my start and end point do not match up and my image is skewed. Only 2 out of 10 times do I get a good cut where it starts and ends at the same point. Is there something I can check or how to fix this problem? Thank You!
I'd recommend cutting a few other shapes, do those connect the cut? If after making sure that the material is feeding completely flat and ruling out any feed issues, if you still have this issue, please contact Siser Support so they can provide further troubleshooting. support@siserna.com Please include a detailed description of what you are doing, what the results are, photos of what is happening, and if you could get it on a short video clip, that would help them too!
Test cut, test cut, test cut. All magnets will vary due to thickness and density. And you are in charge of the blade depth, so it may not be set like other users. Measure the depth next to the edge of the material to set the depth and test cut.
Is it consistent on print and cut all the time once you get settings set up? Honestly my latest cricut print and cut has just made me want to switch machines all together. And I just heard about the juliet and I am liking what I am seeing? Also with the software can you save designs to your computer or does it work more like design space?
Yes, it's more accurate if it's set up properly. You are the driving factor behind many things about the new machines. You have control over it in both the function and your designs. Designs are saved outside the software. Currently in LDS format, but future updates will have additional file type added. The print and cut area is also larger than Cricuts.

You always should manually go to the first registration mark in the bottom left corner and place the blade housing just inside the bottom left mark that the arrow points at. I show that in the video. This is where the camera should start.
I’ve done that as well and it still has issues recognizing the registration mark. Sometimes it will pick it up but most times it doesn’t and i have to move the red crosshair in the direction of the corner and it will either pick it up then or i have to actually put it directly on the mark with the red crosshair. Not automatically like I’ve been seeing in others videos. That is my only issue thus far with the siser Juliet, everything else has been great.
I am having the same issue. Every time I load it in, it will not find the registration marks. Ever. And all it does is beep. Even if I have to manually move the red dot. It’s sooooo frustrating. No matter what I do it can’t find it.
I would like to buy this machine, but I need to know how many years warranty this machine has ? And many years we can add to get more years of warranty.
It comes with a 1 year warranty. An extended warranty would be dependent on who you purchase it from. Extended warranties are handled by 3rd party companies and you pay extra for that. They are all different and vary by retailer.
