It should fit down in the housing, then make sure the pen adapter is completely down inside the housing. Make sure you store the markers flat, but set them upright about 15-20 minutes prior to sketching so the ink can flow.
Yes, and it's been reported. Seems to happen when the cut settings are sent from the touchscreen on the machine instead of from within the LDS program. You'll have to test that one out and see if it's the same for your projects. To be honest, I don't really care if it reads slower, as long as it's accurate. But if you do find it's a difference between cut settings on the touchscreen vs sent from the software and it makes a difference in your workflow, I'd recommend sending the cut settings from the software and only use the touchscreen for test cuts.
How do you cut it without getting streak marks? I have try different things, I let the print dry for a few days before cutting, I have put it under the heat press too, and I still get smears 😢 and when I put it under the heat press it gets super hard to weed it out 🤦🏽♀️ I have a sawgrass 500, with easysubli inks, and I print on the easysubli settings
Don't have the rollers roll on the design. Disengage the middle rollers by taking the springs off if needed. But, in general, I see this mentioned a lot with the EasySubli. I don't think there is a solution other than not rolling across it.
With the DTV I noticed that you had a roller going right over it, do you ever have the roller pick up color? I did the same thing and one of my rollers picked up some of the vinyl color. Also using a baby wipe to clean the mats works like a charm, my 12 x 12 mat was losing its stickiness because I cut a lot of paper with it and I use a baby wipe to clean it up and once it dried it is super sticky again
Elly Mae. When your mat loses the sticky-ness, could you hold the paper down on the mat by using painters tape? I do that with my Cricut now but wonder if it will work for Juliet. Also where do you get extra supplies like mats, blades, etc. Thank you.
If you are cutting through a material that you only cut through the top layer, yes - you probably could. At some point, it's just easier to get a new mat that holds things in place and not risk ruining a good sheet of Siser EasyColor DTV. My middle roller is disengaged by unhooking the springs. A 12"x12" mat really only needs 2 rollers for most projects.
