@ Hey brother! I had a good buddy back in high school (87) that had a white 72 El Camino black vinyl top, red interior, warmed over 350 auto, it also had a good sounding exhaust. Just to earn a couple of bucks, I would wash and detail it for him. Well to get it from his house to mine required lots of burnouts and occasional street race.
Good morning. Thanks for this little story. Learning how certain cars can encourage viewers to share their experiences and share memories about a particular make a model - in this case- the El Camino, is really a huge part of what makes these old cars so cool. We appreciate you taking the time to watch and play along. -steve
Mr. B. Here ! 🍩☕️👀😎👍 : We are nuts in this hobby ! As far as Skid Marks your are correct how many projects and ware to stop . You stated in the pass your El Camino needs to be back on the road, if you have the engine built it drop into Skid Mark, work the bugs out of your engine until you are ready to complete, yes it’s a lot work but it’s a good start on your El Camino ! I feel your pain I have no heat in my Sprint, new heater core is in a box behind driver seat, LOL. This one is your call ! Sir, Happy Holidays to you the family & Auto Refinery best wishes 👀😎👍🎅🏼🧑🎄🥃🍸
MrB.!!!!! Yes indeed . so glad to have people like you that empathize with our situation. To be honest, the thought of using the '72 as a test bed for the '68 has crossed my mind but in the end, I'd rather save that power plant for the SS. The '72 is not really bookmarked for a full restoration. Hint, I havent driven the Silverado since Thursday, only 'skid marK" thanks as always for watching, and of course Happy Holidays to you and your family as well,! -steve, joe and john
Good morning and Thank You for watching. Yes I agree. In fact sticking to originality is a very big part of what makes us tick. That "Honda" comment was meant to actually make fun of myself as I (we) would never even consider that! hahah Thanks so much for tuning in and please take a look at some of our other videos. Lots of original Muscle car stuff. Tell us about your Z28. We love original car stories. -steve
Hey hey! Yeah I'm always so back and forth on this one aren't I? How and why do I like that little 'stang so much ???but there is, sometimes, a slight trace of practicality that creeps in and so.......... Anyway, thanks as always for watching and playing along!!! -steve

Yes You needed another project lol ,we got some projects on the farm old gmc trucks for you guys 😂. Another great video bud
Absolutely!! This one might be staying with a good while.
Oh and ,Let's talk about those trucks soon!
My 1987 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 spun a bearing. I decided to rebuild the engine rather than replacing it. I like to keep all my cars original.
