What I like about Unitology is that they aren't really _wrong_ about any of their beliefs. They just didn't understand how "becoming whole" would happen or what the actual end result would be. There is convergence. There is eternal unity. But all humanity and even life itself are lost in the process. And it's a violent, horrifying process.
I don’t know if I would call it unity, unless you mean like cells in a human body. When I think after life, I think of it as a conscious being, not as a single blood cell in a greater, technically mortal, Organism. Side note, I hated dead space 3 but the brethren moons were a good big bad.
@@Groovy_Bruce Yeah exactly. Brethern Moon are still alive so its not an afterlife. However, didn't the Brethren Moon create life to begin with? We are a part of them, and joining them is part of our natural life cycle. I don't think we should follow through with it but an argument can be made that it is possibly dangerous for any species to avoid steps of its natural life cycle. But self improvement and evolution only happens by challenging the constraints of your animal desires and patterns so you can level up and have an easier time. If we listened to evolution in history we should all die by 50yo and 40% shouldn't survive childhood. So its better to escape the brethern moon. But perhaps escaping the brethren moon has consequences and one of them is avoiding the afterlife since according to them who created us, we need to join them to finish our life cycle. Our life can be better but perhaps the afterlife is worse or made harder to achieve without completing our biological purpose. After billions of years it can be avoided maybe. But that hive mind IS a part of the natural healthy life cycle. It's just better to avoid it, like making wifi and air conditioning is better than the natural way of suffocating in hot summer!

“COME’ERE BOY! I GOT SOMETHING FOR YA!” (Brandishes plasma cutter with malicious intent) Also I like that someone else subscribes to the theory that the Markers are organically grown inside the Moons rather than built conventionally. It makes the size differences seem less like mistakes in design and more like snapshots in the development of a fetal organism: they start small, get bigger over time, until you end up with skyscraper sized markers.
I’ve got an idea on how to permanently destroy a marker just put the thing in a spaceship flying to the closest sun and dump it into the sun. Hopefully the sun superheated surface can basically disintegrate the entire marker and make sure that no shards can be salvaged once it’s incinerated.
You wouldn't be able to verify with 100 certainty that it was destroyed. Though even if it wasn't destroyed its purpose would be gone as biological matter can't thrive in that environment, so it would probably still be a sound plan.
Loved the video, but I feel the need to correct small things like dispite the name Brethren Moon, they are actually the size of Mars. They are extremely powerful creatures who could wipe out all life in a solar system just by passing by with there psychic ability, cruah planets with gravity manipulating abilities, and travel faster than light by manipulating space around themselves. They probably don't create markers but absorb one into themselves during creation and throw the rest at distant worlds faster then the speed of light before hibernating for several billion years or however long a race takes to reach the stars. The markers specifically are a magic super computer that runs the out break while reading the minds of everyone in the solar system and attempting to manipulate them into destroying themselves or defenses. The one that hit earth was not in a meteor, it was the Meteor however it was a black marker and could survive the impact no problem, even the red marker on Aegis 7 survived splitting off into dozens of peices each still fully capable of starting out breaks or even holding a planet together with gravity so that it could be found. Isaac destroyed the Black Marker in a mental battle which is the only way aside from complele disintegration to destroy one however this is a mental strength feat as only the strongest minds could do it and the few immune people like Ellie Langford can't even be detected by its psychic abilities meaning they also can't fight it in a mental battle however necromorphs can still find them and once a marker sees an immune person, they will seek them out with more aggressive tactics. They are also a lot smarter than people realize, I'm glad to see someone else even pick up on that since so many think they are completely feral. To add on to what you said, necromorphs will cut off power to blind enemies before killing in complete silence just feet away picking off members of a crowd. They will also strategically go to locations where a large amount of bodies are present like a morgue or living quarters to kill unsuspecting victims to gain numbers until they themselves believe they have enough numbers to show themselves. They will destroy communications or block them, disable or burrow around defenses, camp areas like hospitals, sneak into command locations like the bridge. They also put bodies into piles to make larger more specialized forms that could break through defenses or something else if they wanted. A physical necromorph body is heavily modified growing new material out of energy and changing every cell in the body into necromorph cells which act like muscles and bones all at once however several times more dense than normal humans making them weigh a lot more, hit a lot harder, take much more damage, and become immortal. Over time they would continue to mutate into enhanced forms, go into hibernation, or join a larger mass to serve a greater purpose. Slashers specifically aren't sluggish as they can run at 30 mph and dodge or block attacks without issue, the exploder's sack is full of pure marker energy allowing it to absolutely decimate groups of people or defenses, infectors can be formed from any corpse and can create any kind of necromorph from any corpse or corpse pile. The formation of a single Moon is the death of not just the planet but also the entire species as they will go planet to planet harvesting billions at a time possibly making multiple moons in one harvest or restarting the process again. necromorphs are one of the only things on this planet that truly horrifies me. the entire idea of them is just haunting lol i would sooner take myself out than experience a necromorph outbreak
this comparison is so niche and specific but there was a Star Wars expanded universe novel that came out literally like I think after Disney had purchased it but it was written and green lighted before, called Plagueis, about the sith lord of that same name, And I don't know what the experience of simply reading the book would be but the audiobook was one of the best audiobook performances I've ever heard. it's at least equivalent to the narrator who did Harry Potter who should get an award for that, But as far as more mature stories go he's far and away the best one. And the reason that I bring that up is because the narrator for this video, and I don't know if it's an AI voice or if it's your voice or maybe you are the voice actor for the Plagueis novel I have no idea, but it sound just like him.

necromorphs are one of the only things on this planet that truly horrifies me. the entire idea of them is just haunting lol i would sooner take myself out than experience a necromorph outbreak
Hey man I love you videos keep up the good work!!
this was so crazy love the walkthrough hit the like
I will watch your career with great interest
this comparison is so niche and specific but there was a Star Wars expanded universe novel that came out literally like I think after Disney had purchased it but it was written and green lighted before, called Plagueis, about the sith lord of that same name, And I don't know what the experience of simply reading the book would be but the audiobook was one of the best audiobook performances I've ever heard. it's at least equivalent to the narrator who did Harry Potter who should get an award for that, But as far as more mature stories go he's far and away the best one.
And the reason that I bring that up is because the narrator for this video, and I don't know if it's an AI voice or if it's your voice or maybe you are the voice actor for the Plagueis novel I have no idea, but it sound just like him.
Sweet, I absolutely love a good channel that will take a fictional idea and treat it as if it were irl and explain it with an analytical/scientific tone.
Or as I call 'em: Fictional Documentaries.
I will be watching your fledgling channel with great interest, enthusiasm and expectations.

Thank you!!
