Your editing is great, I liked your different ideas for a heavy anchor for the pell, I don't know if the hardware stores in America have magma available like you Aussies.
I appreciate how you explain different variations and their pros/cons, so many channels will have an instructional video without any alternatives listed. For anyone interested, another great video on making a pell was done by The Bearded Axe
I came to your channel thanks to shad but I will definitely be staying for the high quality, clear entertaining explanations and the fact that I love seeing fellow Aussies doing well 😁
This is awesome! Tons of information and diverse information about the concept as a whole; which I value a lot! I feel like I know much more than before I watched this, and I'm excited to make my own training pell, or more!
@@NateV-SwordSavvy we dont have our own place, we train in a school gym hall or outdoors, so i guess that means carrying the 12kg monster to and fro as its to big to even fit into my volvo v70
Hey there. Nice video. What abour a DIY video on how to build a practice sword at home (for beginners and from different materials like wood) ? I think it'll be nice for your channel. Keed up with the good work.
Have you seen this pell that "fights back"? Its designed by some guy for his kid to practice Kendo with. It rotates and auto returns to simulate returning to longpoint after having their sword knocked back, flexes to act like it moves back and forth and the "blade" also has an auto return feature to recenter itself after having the blade knocked up or down. th-cam.com/video/C-h9DERlgOo/w-d-xo.html
@@NateV-SwordSavvy I also think that if I made that pell design, it would be far more "aggressive" or rather, under stronger tensions to return to its neutral state, obviously the original is designed for a child to safely practice on, rather than for an adult to train with, I'd happily done some gear and have it be able to give me a good thwack if I'm daft lol.
How in the world do you not have more subscribers. These videos are higher quality than some larger channels.
If only I had found out about this earlier before lockdown.... good news is the bunnings is back open lmao
Like and comment for Standard unit usage.
This is such really well done high quality video for a smaller channel. Well done.
Thanks BC15 04, glad you like it.
I hate how awkward my country has to be with measurements... Thank you for converting everything for us so I didn't have to :X
More than welcome!
damn dude you put a lot of work into your videos
Doing it for the sword community man.

Thank you. Magma is fairly common at the stores down here, but occasionally when they stock Ætherstone - ooooh baby that's worth the coin.
Come springtime, I'm gonna bild a pell. Thinking of making it a little more bodylike with a head and shoulders, torso etc. Looking forward to it!
Amazingly helpful video. I just got screamed at for chopping milk bottles off my flatmates garden furniture
Then it might be time to build a pell ;) ...and I totally didn't almost spit my coffee reading your comment :D
he is like skalligrim but an up and commer. thanks for giving me the opportunity to watch you grow

@@shotgunridersweden Ok fair, that might be a bit too much effort
Amazing video once again! I ordered some black fencer synthetics last night so I might need to build a pell ready for when they come!
That's awesome Sheldon, I'd love to see it when it's built!
Im probably gonna make one of these

Nice!
@@NateV-SwordSavvy Thought you might like it. I would love to see what someone with HEMA training would make of it after giving it a go.
