    sorin 1 advice from me
    use 3Utools on pc, connect the iphone to pc with this software and you will see how much charge cycles the battery has and you will immediately and for sure know if you need to change it :)

  • @zx8401ztv
    @zx8401ztv 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    So many unbroken charge ports ha ha, but you did the test in no time at all :-D.
    That final tablet looked like it had been in a war, there is no way you can know if it was dodgy before.
    I watch jessa jones/louis rossmann/chris and a few more repairers, and crap cables and adaptors cause a lot of damage.

    I test "non charging" on my counter with a known working charger, if it turns on then I just sell a cable/plug... thinking I am missing a trick here!

  • @LaptopDisassembly

    From a while i want to ask a question. I see you disassemble phones, tablet and other stuff, and when so you put the screens and displays on the side. Dosen't they get scratches or something like that being on the desk. My costumers always look for a small scratches or something like that, and when i disassemble something i treat it like a baby, put it on a soft cover and stuff. Or just my costumers are very paranoid.

    Hello, about your tools, some usb voltmeters are not compatible with Apple to load, as are yours, any solution to work with Apple?

  • @Dyaxxis
    @Dyaxxis 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    24:06 ...Tell me about it! Just keep reminding those types of customers of the risk of "inferior designed aftermarket" cables. The one's who refuse to get it can gamble with their device, which will likely end up on yours or other tech's benches, or in severe cases, the rubbish bin.

    I have a question about the USB power meter that you are using, can you link me to where I can buy it or write down the name and model number of it?
    I have bought 2 meters so far, both are inaccurate and at most show 2 or 3 digits, I can't find one that has 5 digits anywhere nearby at least no USB power meter with 5 digits.

    Try a iflex tool and iplastix opening tool much better than isesamo tool these days n cheap...

    • @OrbiterElectronics
      @OrbiterElectronics 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I use thin guitar picks, I buy the 0.46mm ones in the hundreds from ebay for about £4. IMHO the iflex tools are far too expensive for what they are, and they
      don't last very long either. As guitar picks are so cheap you can just bin them once they start to wear a little too much.

    • @waynetaylor2784
      @waynetaylor2784 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      John - Orbiter wrong tool for wrong job my friend, guitar picks have their uses opening an ipad screen isnt one of them, 4 bux for iflec aint expensive either..

    • @OrbiterElectronics
      @OrbiterElectronics 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Wayne Taylor.. Sorry but IMO there's nothing wrong with using guitar picks to get into any mobile device screen.. I use.0.46mm plastic picks and very flexible 0.3mm metal picks for any difficult areas. I always advise new techs use short tools too as it means there is less chance of causing ribbon and LCD damage.
      In the UK the iflex tools are anywhere between £6 and £13 😯
