    When cleaning the fan out with a compressor or canned air, make sure you put a screw driver into the fan blades to prevent it over spinning and getting damaged. Search "fan overspin" on google if you want details

    • @midnightrizer
      @midnightrizer 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      that is not true nothing will happen if the fan spins you need to learn more about electronics and physics don't believe everything you read on google. i have been doing computer repair since 1982 and never had an issue with fans spinning while cleaning them with air.

    watching you work in London, is much the same as Louis Rossman in NY. He is under the same constraints, of time and money per fix @ $335.00/fix. He mostly only deals with Macbooks. When you said the mosfets, another time, I thought, well the last thing that ever goes out for Louis are the mosfets. Plenty of resistors, and capacitors and IC's, but hardly if ever mosfets like in Windows machines, or Android tablets. Not built the same at all. With the Macbook you have Power rails, and one turns on the next, like the single wire from the mcp, talking back to the power plug, to tell it to give the full voltage. Not mosfets at all like your machines. Sure there are two mosfets, but they never go out, and not many fuses go out either. I saw you fix an lcd Mac ribbon cable, and that was a very difficult job. The screens for those stupid things cost more to fix than the laptop is worth. You can't even change out the camera or mic.

    I always tell people with laptops to provide their chargers especially if there is charging issue. That way it helps determine whether their charger is the issue. Broken wire or flaky adapter.

    The closer you live to london, the more that everything costs, it's a mad country lol :-D.
    I have no problems with your repair methods, you do really well to repair the rubbish that is placed before you.
    I have done repairs that were not 100% by the book, but the owner was happy :-D
