I really love coming back to these games after all these years. Next to Ratchet and Clank, the Sly Cooper series is also my childhood. I know its a long shot, but I would like to see the series come back with a 5th game

The Sly franchise holds a very special place in my heart, from solely grinding Sly 2 and quoting Dimitri's "Greasy sweet" lines. I loved these games growing up. Whenever you get to Sly 4 good luck lol Keep up the great work!

Personally as a Jak fan myself I love the Power Cell collection animations
I've always been partial to anything Jak & Daxter tbh. I think J&D is a little closer to my heart than Sly, but it's very, very close.
@@ItzSweetTrav Same here Sly is probably my second favorite PS series next to Uncharted and GOW and Ratchet and Clank, I really believe the we need a Sly 5 or at least some kind of remake of the first three games or something Sly and J&D deserve something we've waited long enough lol
this was my favorite game series as a kid on ps2
i remember preordering sly 2 and getting a weird look, probably because i was like the only person preordering sly 2.
years later, same store. randomly rebuying a few games. forgot all about sly until i saw the cover for 1. bought sly 1 and 2 and like gta san andreas or something. same weird look, lol like "who buys this, out of everything".
either way sly 1-3 is like the most underrated "mascot" series.

The crazy thing is... I was never a huge Crash fan as a kid. I do plan on doing at least Crash 4 some time down the line. Really excited to start diving into games I really haven't explored before!

Hey man, you should photoshop description of the trophys next to the trophy counter at the top. It would lend more to the long form content you are going for. You have a entertaining personality too bro
I’ve done that in my other vids! This one was tough because since I technically have to stream it via PS Now, it forces you to go through the whole PS3 menu process to show the Trophy description. When I play a stream only game in the future though I’ll do that, appreciate the feedback & glad you enjoyed!

I was never really sure how I felt about the movie. IMO most video games that I loved as a kid I wouldn't want to see made into movies
@@ItzSweetTrav I feel like the first sly game had potential! I know they couldn’t make it a beat for beat movie but seeing Sly orphaned by Clockwerk, meeting Bentley and Murray and growing up with them, perfecting his skills, meeting Carmalita, and confronting Clockwerk could’ve been cool!!!

They’re definitely coming down the line! I’m trying to build up a catalog of vids first before diving into trilogies so that way I don’t pigeonhole myself into a specific niche game in YT’s algorithm.

Also, read a fanfic of this game, and I LOVED how they gave all but the first boss of this game, a redemption of some kind. And no, I’m not spoiling anything.

Does anyone know why my select and start buttons aren’t working?
You have to use the controller pad since it’s the PS3 version of the game and the controller was smaller, it’s weird

Planning on it! For the rest of August I have Spider-Man 2018, Sly 2 & High On Life lined up followed by Starfield for our first huge hunt in September. If that one doesn’t end up taking me most of the month, I would like to get both the Ratchet & Clank and Jak & Daxter kicked off!
