    VERY nice fly and vid. I really appreciate your filming from the “tier’s side”, it makes the tying process much easier to understand and reproduce.
    Your explanations are precise and extremely useful.
    Thanks a lot for sharing those patterns and tying techniques.
    Take care

    Tied this with a green tag and got a 19” brook trout last week in Maine. Knew the fish was there, and it rejected everything until I tried this. As soon as it hit the water...bam!

    What a fantastic pattern. I recently tied up a half dozen of these for a small stream Tenkara trip. Great results! I’ve used a number of times under different conditions and times of year. Always great results. This is my go to pattern when Tenkara fishing. Thanks so much.

      Ruolong I am the same way with this one and am not really sure why it isn't more popular, it certainly has been around long enough. For me, it just seems to work all the time. Glad someone else agrees.

      tightlinevideo Actually i tried it for the first time last night and I had so much fun. My friend will make some for him too, as he could not believe the amount of trout i caught in a short time. I even gave one to him so he could try it and he was hooked. Simple is nice for me.

    Awesome pattern. Thanks for the suggested upgrade. I tied and fished this as an emerger which was not instinctive until watching your video. I'll spare the details, but results were outstanding. Performs great in slow water.

    Nice variation on a theme. I just love the classic partridge & orange and this little version is nice too. I’m a glutton for soft hackle classics! lol. Thanks for another one dude. Keep safe.

    I see u use that bobbin in all your tying videos and it looks really nice and I was wondering where I could get one like that?

    • @Finis0Terrae
      @Finis0Terrae 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +outdoorsman 1862 It is called "Rite Bobbin". I have one too and can't recommend it highly enough. Many flyshops and online stores have them nowadays, or you can order them from their website.
