@@rhysegozun Thank you for your kind comment. As for my insight on the apartment in Ep 20. I would say I find it convenient in terms of moving in and costs since it is already fully furnished, but it doesn't give me a relaxing vibe.
To fix this apartment, I would remove the bathtub and use that space for the toilet. That way we open up space for the washing machine. I liked this one. It's spacious, big windows, has a mini balcony, a bathroom that works, this island is great and the positioning of its furniture would work. I like this one and the one from the toy store. 😘😘😘😘😘
It's beautiful! Of all the micro apartments you've visited, this is the only one that's liveable. I love the big windows that let in the sun and the kitchen counter that doubles up as a dining table and work space. I would live here.
That's the best apartment so far. Spacious but cozy and an intelligent room layout. A decent amount of storage, a very useful flexible bar counter and a lot of natural light. I'd definitely consider that one. Thanks for sharing them.
I love the luxurious feel and stunning views! (Although little privacy). I love having the shoe rack and wardrobe nook at the door! (where you’re not staring at it while you’re home - except there’s a second closet, too! Although I like another commenter’s idea of putting the bed in that closet nook, as well as their observation that it may not be great for fear of heights). I don’t love the kitchen with its visible plumbing and poorly-designed under-space; it seems to waste so much space - but it is nice that it provides usage as both a table and desk; and you could have someone over for dinner if you enjoy that sort of thing - and if you like to cook, you can save some money toward rent by cooking more meals at home). This apartment seems to me more in line with US-ian thought; lots of room for kitchen and clothes storage. It is too bad that a combo washer/dryer doesn’t fit anywhere. Haha, I love the horn noise when something doesn’t work! And that rent, Oh my goodness!
I believe the saying, good things come to those who wait! I believe this is more than you’re spending currently, but what a beautiful studio. So much more room than anywhere that you’ve shown us. Think you should take it Usui!!! Will you?!
I really like this apartment! It looks so stylish and those big windows are awesome! I hope it won't be too cold with them though. The room is big, great for setting up your bed and desk easily! 😊 I also love the storage space by the door and the big kitchen, and that there's space for a refrigerator! The bathroom is pretty big too. And it's great that you can fit a washing machine in there, but sad that the one you have doesn't quite fit. And I always like how happy you are about having a place for toilet paper 😄 Overall, I think this is the best one we've seen! Poor Olaf at the end of the video though! 😅
This apartment seems perfect, I’m just worried that 4th floor maybe a problem for you regarding the height, hmmmm! Spider would love the height👍🏻 Do we keep looking? Actually I’m dreading the day you find something cos it means the search is over and I really like these videos👍🏻
This is the best apartment so far in my opinion. The rent is higher than others that were nice, yet still maybe worth it depending on how the location works for individual.
This the most expensive apartment so far, but also by far the best one (in all terms) so far. This basically just needs bar stools for the counter, a pullout-couch as a day sofa and a bed at night and your desk (at the big window!), maybe a few blinds (when in summer the sun glares) and this is a very comfy living space!
This micro apartment is so well thought out! The layout has a dedicated space for life's essentials, e.g. coat and shoe rack, and a well-placed and decent-sized kitchen. It's not an odd shape where there is wasted space and the huge windows make the apartment look super spacious
Not your style, but my favorite so far. I'd put the bed with storage underneath along the big window, stools under the bar counter, and an entertainment center along the empty wall for all of my books.
The micro flat looks clean contemporary style. All in one living space with a built-in wardrobe. All in one cook/sink. Handy with compactable Air fryer/ mini oven/ fridge. Any furniture has to be, small compact. Better with a sofa bed with small compatible washing machine. So if you're not into big spaces this is ideal as long you're not claustrophobic. Ideal for xs- small pets only. What a video show tour. 😮 Completely speechless. 😮 But I loved it ❤
New to the channel today . I lived in a microaparment for some time in the UK so I know what it is like to have to whole life in one room. I now live in a 6th Floor 2 bedroom apartment with a small office room and a balcony which has been encloed in glass so I can even use it in the wintertime in avery. It is an old building from the 1930's but it does have large windows and lovely viewa. This has so much potental. I really like that the bath and the toilet are in deifferent rooms. I love that there is a bar so you eat meals so you are not either eating meals on your desk or balancing bowls on your lap. The large windows and the view make it feel so spcaious and the views are so nice.
I think this is probably the best apartment I've seen so far. At least for my taste. I, too, am afraid of heights, but with curtains I'd be just find. I think the rent is a bit high, but I live in the States & have no idea if this price would be worth it to live in a certain part of the city. If I had to pick one apartment to live in from all you have so graciously showed us, I think I'd pick this one......as long as there is an elevator. I'm 60 yrs old with back & leg disabilities, so an elevator would be a must. Thank you for taking us along with you. My husband is Japanese, but I've never been able to visit. I love watching your videos & getting to see some of the city. 💖💖💖
Hello Usui ! I wanted to introduce myself. My name is Cyndy and I'm 27 years old from Indonesia. I just became your new subscriber, and I must say, your videos are truly amazing and have been such an inspiration to me. One of my dreams is to live independently in a small private place, and the concept of living in a micro apartment like you do really resonates with me. Currently, I'm living with my family as I need to take care of my parents everyday. (usually people call it as Sandwich generation haha). However, my ultimate goal is to pursue my dream of living abroad and experiencing freedom. Japan being my top of my list. Your fantastic and entertaining videos bring me so much joy and motivation to work towards my goals. I've got some more saving up and learn Japanese to do before I can leave my country, so wish me luck ! Take care, Usui, and keep up the good work. Sending you well wishes from your fan, Cyndy :)
It's bright with a lot of natural light coming in from the windows, space for storage, big kitchen space for food preparation/dinning/working, no weirdly angled toilet, many light fixtures as well. Seems like this is one of the most decent spaces we have seen in a while.
This place is gorgeous and so well laid out, my favourite so far! I would probably get some of that stick-on privacy screen for the bottom half of the windows as it feels very exposed and I wouldn't want to have the curtains closed all the time.
I love this one! One thing I always notice is how tiny kitchen counters are in the apartments. This one is large enough that you could actually prepare food on it without worrying about touching a burner or dumping stuff in the sink. Getting the washer in that space will be interesting XD
I'd likely use the counter like a desk unless I got myself a desktop PC. Shame the space for the washer/dryer seems only suited to top loaders, but that's OK to me. I like that the laundry rod has a way to put it out of the way when not in use. I'd probably have the head of the bed against the big window (which needs curtains or blinds) and a bookcase on the opposite wall where a TV can sit, unless I have a desktop PC, then I'd put the TV on the counter instead of using it as a desk, since there'd be a desk in the corner sue to the internet connection being in that corner. All in all, I really like this apartment, it's even in my price range with an elevator. Wish apartments like this were as cheap in my area.
I really like that kitchen setup! Its like you're supposed to have guests over to wine and dine and the apartment itself is very accommodating to have visitors. Also, no need to bring a work desk as you can just work on that kitchen island near food 😅. Has an adequate amount of storage and love that its well lit and has good ventilation. If the monthly is not an issue for you then its a good place to move in. But hey, there's always episode 20 😁
Oohh as someone that loves cooking and big windows, this one is one of my favorites. Sure, the view isn't that great, but I don't enjoy looking out the window - I just like the light.
instead of a small bed, I'd put a sofa that can be folded out into a spacious bed. Looks way more presentable, makes for a nice sitting area for you and your guests during the day, gives you more floor space during the day, and more bed space during the night :)
Best one I've seen. A little expensive for a micro but you can live like an actual human being in there. If you get a sofa bed you can even have company and herbs for cooking in the tiny balcony😊
This one is perfect. Space for everything. I would go with a futon sofa along the large window. You can still hang cloths in the closet. Opposite wall can dresser with a TV and there is still from for a small desk. The big sell here is the kitchen. Still compact, but has counter space. Along with a stool, you can hide a roll rack for extra food storage. It is all very spacious for a small place. The price is expensive-would have to weigh cost of your daily transportation need to see if the price increase would be worth it. You are a very minimalist guy, so this might be too much space for you ;)
The only two drawbacks are the high rent and the space allowed will not fit your own washing machine. Otherwise if your budget allows, it is the best micro apartment so far. The washroom with bathtub is a very nice size. A good sized refrigerator would store all of your beverages and Hagen Daz too.
This one i would have taken immediately lol. It's so good. I like the open space kitchen and living room, plenty of space. Unfortunately the only downside its the price for me tbh.
In addition to the "problems" you listed, I found one more: the kitchen is right outside the bathroom. You open the bathroom door, and there is the kitchen. That is really not a very desirable floor plan. The wall-length windows allow the natural light to flow into the apartment, giving the place sufficient natural lighting. The wall-length windows make the place feel larger as it is too. I agree with you that this is an advantage.
This one's my favourite so far! I love that there's a proper stove (I love to cook) and the counter can work as both eating space and workspace. And it's so bright with a fun view!
That's quite a big bathroom for such a tiny space. You even have a separate sink IN the bathroom (not at the entry area lol). Actually this is one of the more spacious micro apartments where you could actually have guests andnot feel so crowded.
このアパートが一番好きです💕 there is enough room for cooking as we need to temporarily use dishes, bowls, and chopping board to process food. The layout of kitchen and washroom area is pretty reasonable. Refrigerator, gas stove and doorway of the washroom share common space. Also, I would like to place a bed between the closet and the opposite wall, leaving more space for doing yoga. 🧘♀️ The rental cost is 😅 not so affordable I think. I have to cook all meals by myself.
My dumbass thought the place for washing machine in the bathroom was for shower at first and i was like "that seems too small for showering space but it is what it is" 😭💀🤡
I like this flat! The apartment is well thought out, there are large windows, there is storage space, and it is large compared to the one you currently live in. There is space for a refrigerator and a washing machine, and in the kitchen there is an opportunity to cook, and at this table you can eat and work. Here you can even put a folding sofa instead of a bed.the fact that there is no elevator is a plus; the physical activity of going up, on the contrary, is a plus. The apartment is more expensive because it is larger and more comfortable than the previous one; you have to pay for comfort, you can buy a small washing machine. I don't see any flaws in this apartment. There's even a small balcony. But you will get used to the height - it’s only the 4th floor. It's not like living on the 30th floor...
Ok, my new favorite. But I would put the refrigerator under the kitchen counter facing the living room, and put a tall, slim shelf there by the doorway.
@@redd8844 I have a similar situation in my bathroom. It's a little less than 2x3 meters and it looks like this: S L W T D C (D=door, C=cinq, W=window, T=toilet, S=shower, L=laundy machine, and the door opens into the hallway, so shortly after I moved into the apartment, the laundry machine stood in front of the door inside the bathroom which made using the bathroom super complicated.) So when I'm sitting on the toilet, I can look out of the window and put my toilet paper roll on the laundry machine. One workmate of my mom and his brother took the machine and placed it there as if it was just a big paper box and the workmate climbed over the machine to get out of the corner. 😅
I really like this one. Very thoughtful layout; from the shoe and coat area when you first walk in, to the built in counter/table space. I like that this one has a tub and shower option, washing machine separate from the living area and dehumidifier for drying clothes. It costs more than the other micro apartments, but it's also bigger. It's big enough that I could picture a young couple, just starting out, living here. If it's on the 4th floor, I hope they have an elevator.
I love this apartment! Depending on long the length is on the one window by the closet, I would put the bed with my feet facing the closet and put a small desk with a computer by the internet port. Also, with the tiny balcony you could fill it with plants since there isn't really any room to stand but it has the big opening window so you could easily water the plants without having to actually stand on the balcony.
This is really nice. Concerns: the huge windows. They’re gorgeous, but you’d need plants on one side and bottom up blinds on the other. The bathroom. Maybe Spider-Man could use his spider strength to lift a washing machine over the sink and toilet.
I love this place so much! The giant windows, the modern colors, the space, and the toilet paper storage!!! And the rent really isnt that bad for what youre getting here
Oooohhh I love this! The layout is very nice, the kitchenette with more counter space and can double as a desk is a big bonus. There are 2 closets(I'm a woman so this is a plus for me😅). There's big toilet paper storage and a tub! I love saoking especially when it's an off day, and anything with a tub is good for me. But those windows are what gives it a very sunny and wide feel. I would put small plants on the balcony just to give more life to the space. It's little pricey, but for the place, it's worth it❤
I LOOOOOVE these windows! And the small balcony... you could place flowers there! The Apartment is twice the size of those, you showed to us in your first videos - of course it is more spaceous, which I really like. Its more like a "real" Apartment, than a "Micro" one. It looks noble. 🙂 I like this kitchen, even if its sad that there are no doors under the sink. I also like the toilet and shower rooms. Washing machine near the toilet is, what we have here in germany very often. As I already said in other comments: I love these small bath tube shower situations 🙂 I LOVE this apartment very much 🙂
Hola!! ✨ Saludos.
Personally, I'd do a Murphy Bed against the wall facing the large window. The one with the love seat under it. So you can flip the bed up when you have company and have a living room instead... and extra storage! I'd also get a projector and screen to pull down over the large window, for movies, etc At the end of the bed, I'd do a storage ottoman that can double as a coffee table or extra seating. I'd use the counter as my desk and work area, as well as kitchen counter and dining table. Lol. It's a pretty cute place, with a beautiful view! :)

It has the worst toilet/washroom arrangement.
And I always like how happy you are about having a place for toilet paper 😄
Overall, I think this is the best one we've seen!
Poor Olaf at the end of the video though! 😅
😅⛄️
This apartment seems perfect, I’m just worried that 4th floor maybe a problem for you regarding the height, hmmmm! Spider would love the height👍🏻
Do we keep looking? Actually I’m dreading the day you find something cos it means the search is over and I really like these videos👍🏻
This is the best apartment so far in my opinion. The rent is higher than others that were nice, yet still maybe worth it depending on how the location works for individual.
Ein tolles Apartment ❤. Natürlich etwas teurer, aber modern und hell. Ein Favorit. 😊🎉
This apartment has a luxury feel to it -- very well-outfitted. The whole thing is gorgeous. The windows!!!
You have to take this place! It’s perfect! Those windows!
Completely speechless. 😮 But I loved it ❤
I have to admit this one is perfect for me. It feels so luxurious and those giant windows are just what i love!
Thanks for your comment!🥰
I love this one! Plenty of storage and laid out nicely! So sunny and bright!
All i can say is WOW! Thats a really nice place, just need to figure out the laundry situation. This is the nicest so far 😊😊
Love it ⛄️!!!!!!
🥰⛄️
Like the idea with the island. Not only can you eat there, but maybe work there as well.
Best one I've seen. A little expensive for a micro but you can live like an actual human being in there. If you get a sofa bed you can even have company and herbs for cooking in the tiny balcony😊
This apartment is your wet dream, man. New, with large windows and a Toilet Paper Storage!
And where does the rest go? But that same problem exists for all micro appartments.
@@_filifjonkan4290 use a hammock.
You are a very minimalist guy, so this might be too much space for you ;)
one of the best ones so far! :0
10:43 Olaf melts when the heating is on. You are funny and creative. ⛄
Thanks for your comment!🥰⛄️
This one's my favourite so far! I love that there's a proper stove (I love to cook) and the counter can work as both eating space and workspace. And it's so bright with a fun view!
Í think it is the best so far. Space for everything, and bright.
I would definitely live in this one
That's quite a big bathroom for such a tiny space. You even have a separate sink IN the bathroom (not at the entry area lol). Actually this is one of the more spacious micro apartments where you could actually have guests andnot feel so crowded.
Too expensive but i like the built in storage and the fact you can make the kitchen counter both a dining table and a desk.
Very good apartment!
Nice place. Love the Music
My dumbass thought the place for washing machine in the bathroom was for shower at first and i was like "that seems too small for showering space but it is what it is" 😭💀🤡
Same!
Normal apartment layout. There is space for a kitchen with a table . You can live!
In such an apartment I would prefer to use a futon.
Ma ciao bellissimo gattino ❤️
😮😮😮 👍This is really nice, a little larger than others and these big windows are pretty cool!!! And Olaf is so cuuuute!!! ☃️😭🥰
Ok, my new favorite. But I would put the refrigerator under the kitchen counter facing the living room, and put a tall, slim shelf there by the doorway.
How would you even get a washing machine into that corner without removing the sink or toilet first? 😂
😅
Technically it's possible, but probably needs 2-3 menpower to do it😅(to carry the washing machine above the sink & toilet)
and there's no elevator😂
Plus, it must be a top loader if you are going to be able to use it.
@@redd8844 I have a similar situation in my bathroom. It's a little less than 2x3 meters and it looks like this:
S L
W T
D C
(D=door, C=cinq, W=window, T=toilet, S=shower, L=laundy machine, and the door opens into the hallway, so shortly after I moved into the apartment, the laundry machine stood in front of the door inside the bathroom which made using the bathroom super complicated.)
So when I'm sitting on the toilet, I can look out of the window and put my toilet paper roll on the laundry machine. One workmate of my mom and his brother took the machine and placed it there as if it was just a big paper box and the workmate climbed over the machine to get out of the corner. 😅
Beautiful and practical, if just a little expensive
Honestly one of the best ones yet.
Finally, some work space in the kitchen!
I really like this one. Space layout is a bit more functional 😊 and the big windows are lovely
And the rent really isnt that bad for what youre getting here
I really liked this apartment, but the price seems high
Oooohhh I love this! The layout is very nice, the kitchenette with more counter space and can double as a desk is a big bonus. There are 2 closets(I'm a woman so this is a plus for me😅). There's big toilet paper storage and a tub! I love saoking especially when it's an off day, and anything with a tub is good for me. But those windows are what gives it a very sunny and wide feel. I would put small plants on the balcony just to give more life to the space. It's little pricey, but for the place, it's worth it❤
I love this place, I'd move in!! The big windows are fantastic and so much light. All the best with your search 🙂.
This if the best micro apartment ❤, I love it with the 2 large windows 🎉 and the kitchen area…
a bit pricey isn’t it, but its really nice tho. question, Will you ever be moving from ur current place? 😅
Thanks for your comment.🥰
I would like to make a decision by May.
goodluck on the apartment hunting! hope you can get the best that could fit ur routine :) keep us updated!
this one is pretty good. I love it
No.1😊
I LOOOOOVE these windows! And the small balcony... you could place flowers there!
The Apartment is twice the size of those, you showed to us in your first videos - of course it is more spaceous, which I really like. Its more like a "real" Apartment, than a "Micro" one. It looks noble. 🙂
I like this kitchen, even if its sad that there are no doors under the sink. I also like the toilet and shower rooms. Washing machine near the toilet is, what we have here in germany very often. As I already said in other comments: I love these small bath tube shower situations 🙂
I LOVE this apartment very much 🙂
Hola!!
Personally, I'd do a Murphy Bed against the wall facing the large window. The one with the love seat under it. So you can flip the bed up when you have company and have a living room instead... and extra storage!
I'd also get a projector and screen to pull down over the large window, for movies, etc
At the end of the bed, I'd do a storage ottoman that can double as a coffee table or extra seating.
I'd use the counter as my desk and work area, as well as kitchen counter and dining table. Lol.
It's a pretty cute place, with a beautiful view! :)
Your Videos are so cool and funny 🕸
This apartment looks perfect. With a futon instead of a bed you have a lot of space. Then guests are no problem. The large windows are maybe in summertime not good for your friend ☃️
It's my favourite 👍
Thanks for your comment.🥰
Futon is Nice!
