Despite God knows how many hours, Iron still routinely mis-identifies tanks and STILL has the unallocated shells pop-up
I remember a KV-1E game on the Carpathian map. I just sat on a hill 45° angled towards the middle of the map and the ammount of bounces and non-pens I recieved was crazy. I think the rivets should have worked their way out by that point...
KSP player here: the top of your ballistic arc should be called your periapsis.
Close, don't want to sound like a dick- but it's the apoapsis, periapsis is lowest point of the orbit
periapsis is definitely not that lmao. its either apex if it is a ballistic trajectory or apogee if it is an orbital trajectory.
KV-1E and ITP-1? Iron, have you looked into my most played vehicles? Those two together are just unbeatable. I've even gotten scarily deadly with those 100kg bombs on a 1s delay. Somehow not so much the plane's cannon though...
Just few hours ago, I played this combo in RB. Absolutely murdered everyone and everyhing, and got a 16 kills at the end of the match. 12 with KV-1, and 4 with ITP-1. Those vehicles are monsters, and I love them.

@@rider4440 on paper I agree, but the amount of times the KV series has bounced or took minimal damage from hits that are supposed to pen or hit vital parts of the tank is insanely ridiculous. t34 driver hatch levels of ridiculous
I actually got this thing years ago when it was still possible to on the recommendation of a friend. It has since become my favorite tank in the whole game. Even in AB, which is what I play, it’s got everything: decent speed and reactive mobility, a usable gun, and wondrous armor. I’ve carried whole teams with this thing back to back and almost all my 20+ kill games have been done in it.
It’s a dream to drive and to play. You can’t go wrong with it unless you’re exceptionally daft or run face-first into high pen guns without thinking. I’ve learned to fear the Dicker Max and Sturer Emil, among other vehicles.
When your team spawns 6 SPAAGs and not a single one of them has enough braincells to look up.
German mains once again proving that they are something out of this world...
For any player that is struggling against the kv1-E, particularly for German players, remember to shoot the lower plate if it’s not too angled, if it is try shooting the flat cheeks of the turret it’s not guaranteed with volumetric but it’s your best shot when this thing is angled, if you have a short 75/76 like Sherman’s or t-34s and you are fighting the KV1-B try to get in close quarter to disable the gun if you can’t get near it just avoid fighting it as long as you can

The highest point on an orbit is called aphelion/apogee. The lowest point is perihelion/perigee.
Apoapsis and periapsis are the terms used in KSP

apo/periGEE refers to earth orbit (geo == Earth) and apo/periHELION refer to solar orbit (helios). Periapsis and apoapsis are generic terms applicable to any orbit.
