    Amazing car I actually drove one the other day and sincerely I must say under the bonnet I thought there was a rocket, this would be the only car I would buy if I could afford it.

    Owned a 645ci for a year now, changed the horrendous alternator bracket gasket, changed all the fluids, new tyres and new brakes. I absolutely love this car and will probably never sell it. It's a dream to drive and it still turns a lot of heads.

    Your brake judder could be due to to lateral runout on your front hubs. Check some of my shorts and videos to show measurement of it. Measure runout on your hubs, if it's out of spec, change your front/hubs & wheel bearings and install new OEM discs then check that the runout on the discs is in spec. Had this issue on my 5 series, now solved through following the process of measurement and diagnosis rather than throwing new brake discs at it every 3000 miles

    Had a 650 facelift for 2 years - I would recommend giving more than 15-20% throttle and not more than 2000-2500rpm before the oil temp hits 80 degrees - I know thats a long time to wait but the engine will thank you for that :D

    Awesome vid, can't wait to buy a 650I once I've sold my VW Transporter.

    Brake judder is not normal on these. It may well be related to a worn suspension bushing, or perhaps the discs are not seated properly on the hubs due to dirt or corrosion deposits. The back box delete sounds a bit annoying to me but respect the personal choice. Hope you sold it ok.👍

    Assuming you don’t own the car anymore going by the comments.. mine looks very similar, apart from the maxton skirts.. I also replaced the standard 218alloys with staggered 9” 10.5” rear Veemann alloys.. they fill the arches much nicer 😎

    That's not normal. I replaced my discs and pads with Bosch/febi and have zero judder under any braking condition. I would look at your suspension components. Also I don't understand why your garage has just replaced the discs without trying to diagnose the suspension. 6 month is nothing for discs, unless your warping them when they're new and not bedding the pads in properly...

    • @MTAExperiences
      @MTAExperiences  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Who knows, garage supplied the discs maybe they're crap discs although other owners have said they have experienced the same issue

      @@MTAExperiences I get that, but with you shouldn't have to deal with this, it's a 650i you're meant to enjoy the fast speeds! The only time I had brake judder was when I got the car - the discs were warped and all rusty. New discs and pads solved the issue 100% no compromise

    What kind of brake calipers do you have on the car?

      Stock calipers, just painted white with an M decal.

    • @dariobauer1175
      @dariobauer1175 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Did you spray them or use paint with a brush? And did you remove them before painting them?

    • @MTAExperiences
      @MTAExperiences  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      To be honest because I don’t have a jack/tools to remove the wheel I took them somewhere. They are painted with a brush. I believe they were painted whilst on the car. The finish is ok, but if you remove them and get them sprayed will probably look a lot better.

      I have a 635d which is mapped.
      I run Mtec drilled and groved discs all round with Textar pads.
      Never had a problem with vibration or fade.
      Also you should check your front suspension arms and inner rods and track rod ends. All of which can cause vibrations when heavy braking.
