- even though I love this car these are the five things I hate about it ,electric power steering gives a artificial feeling unless you are in sport or a sport plus mode, trunk that hates cold weather, useless back seat ,sunroof that doesn't fully open and a seat belt design from 1959
Well i dont know if anybody stated this one yet but the reason the trunk does not fully open in cold environments is intended. It was designed like this because all the snow on top of the trunks hood would slide in the inside of your trunk as its hood does not connect to the rear window anymore when opened.
Wow never knew. I have a 650
Had my 2006 for8 years. Will never sell. A classic.

Bought 650 GC recently and I agree. Seatbelts are shitty and it's hard to reach them because they took seats from convertible. Weird thing is that Gran coupe, even though has 4 door, still have button on side to slide fornt seats :O
don't have sunroof, but I don't miss it that much because it can't open

I’m looking at a six series and there’s one thing that’s very confusing and I’d appreciate if someone could help.
I’m looking at the facelifted car. The facelifted car has 9 instead of 10 slates in grille, different headlights and wing mirror turn signals. But the one thing that’s confusing are the rear reflectors. I’ve read that they are positioned in the lower section of the rear bumper on the pre-facelift cars, and moved just under the tailights on the facelift. But the thing is that I have seen some cars that appear to be facelifted (2015+) have the reflectors positioned on the lower section of the bumper and some have it under the tailights. Can anyone please help clear the reflector thing up?

It's really easy, reflectors just below the rear lights indicate m-pack bumpers, while non m-pack cars have their reflectors much lower on the bumper.

Oh man that seat belt would drive me nuts.
I hate the factory square exhaust tips. I literally changed them the first day. I also took out the muffler.
Did you get any burble without a muffler?

@@ramimajeed1758 I took out the muffler, I left the resonators so it won't screw the warranty up or throw lights up on my dash... I did two black dual exhaust tips. Looks mean. Similar to the M6. Because it is a BMW, they charged me $600 Canadian. I could have bargained for less but I was just happy to finally get my 650 Cabriolet.

I always drive my 650 in sport mode, so that's one advantage less. Useless back seat, not my problem good for the kids all others accept it or drive your own car. Thats 3 left for that my car is tuned by Hartge to 482 PK. Every time I drive it -> big smile

the grand coupe is the one to get with this range of 6 series.
Not to me a coupe should be a coupe. A coupe shouldn’t be gran because that makes it a sedan. A coupe is always 2 doors and that’s what makes it a coupe. 4 doors make it a sedan no matter how you name it. So I would rather the 6-series be what it was made to be a 2-door coupe. And the 4-door be a family sedan.

Dude, the sunroof doesn’t slide open because there’s not nearly enough room.
There is a room to open at least half way like many other cars with same size panoramic roof

No ,was in plan but now don't know if I m keeping the car ,if I keep it will definitely have it done

Yes you can put them down.. and since the trunk is so huge, it makes the car surprisingly practical if you're carrying large objets

Do the 101 mod on the trunk struts, boom! Get an E-64, roof problem solved. The seatbelt is called dumping, it's what killed Dale Earnhardt. The only reason there's a rear seat, is for little kids, or something to remove when the Combox fails.
worst car ever. i spend more time and money on this car for 1 year on the hole life on other cars.

Your muffler delete sounds good I have the F12 and I want to do a muffler delete on my 650i. What size exhaust tips did you use? Did you use ID 2.5” OD 3.5” inches?
Thank you ,they are 3.5” in and with my defuser I still have space so thinking maybe going with 4”inches in future

My friend has found a fix for the sunroof it slides open all the way , its 10 times better now
