    Nice way to look at what's need to be done with the chart Craig. Good luck with your goals, it looks like your on the right path by having that overview. Doing Mont Blanc is going improve your hills for sure! I've only entered one race for this year, I'm being cautious with all that's happened but FKT's could be on the cards through the year as a back up 👍🏃

      Sounds exciting. I know what you mean about being cautious, I have so many cancelled events stacking up. There goes my plan of retiring from ultra running and playing bowls or something 😂

    Very very well done! The chain is so true too! And we need to be training holistically for running incorporating all aspects! Very cool way to approach! Also I can’t believe I wasn’t subscribed so I’m now am! Love the content mate!

    Fell upon your channel and really enjoying your encouraging supportive approach. I can REALLY recommend the Jos Naylor Challenge in the Lakes. Did it last September (14hr36min, age 58), and it was the best day ever. You could use it as a target for your hill training. Let me know if you go for it and I’ll support you if I can.

    Craig, can you update us on how COVID has affected your VO2 max? I feel like my lungs still are not back to my former capacity and it's been over 3 months.

      Hi, 3 months!!! Sorry to hear that mate.
      Yeah I still don’t quite feel 100% but not far off to be honest. I wasn’t actually that bad with COVID what about you?

      @@CraigWilliamsUltra I had covid about 4 months ago and have recovered. However, it seems my vo2 max has decreased by a noticeable percentage. I did not test it just before so my observations are based primarily on the way I feel when I run and my current vo2 max.       Hi @@beauduty4979, yeah I have spoken to a few people saying the same thing. Are you just giving it time or are you actively looking to improve your VO2 max once again?
