- I found GOLD with our Dream Mat sluice in Wisconsin's Nugget Lake County Park! I had a lot of fun finding gold in my sluice, cleaning out the dream mat sluice is such a breeze I take my favorite sluice for that reason and the ability to just shovel into the sluice saves me valuable time when I am not classifying buckets out, to put into the sluice.
Here is the Gear I used:

Love this video. I use the dream mats in my sluice and dredge and love them. It definitely catches the fine stuff.
As soon as i used the mat the first time i knew it was awesome. ill have a video coming out of a new clean up system soon i hope
@@KlondikeKlinkers I haven't been prospecting for the last 20 years have equipment but we moved to Ct not much gold here, But the last time I was running my Sluice I was using deep v groove mat and Blue miners moss Im moving to Virginia and im going to start up again ,Do you think Dream mat is Better for Fine gold than what I was using 20 years ago ?

I like using sandbags to make the dams for the sluice.. You can buy a 100 pack from Amazon pretty cheap... I think I only paid $20 for 100 and you can reuse them..
Dude thats genius! Sometimes there just arent big rocks around to use. And it puts good use to your classifier tailings

Super cool video!!! Wish all the sound was coming through.I could set watch you run dirt all day. Whats even cooler is I'm sitting here panning while I watch. Almost like I'm sitting right beside the same stream you are panning for color. I'm going to have to get a dream mat to try out. From what I've seen so far it works well. I see there is a dramatic drop off in at the parts i sped up the footage, do you guys think it would be better to make the video in parts? I tried to cram 4 hours of footage into 30 min.

Classifying. I've had it to where I thought it didn't matter. Then realized I was seeing pieces disappear and not find it at the end of the day. Learned everytime I stick even a hand infront of the sluice it churned the water just enough to kick it up and out. Now rocks bouncing through the sluice, WILL KICK THE GOLD OUT. It's happened to me. It's just one of those things. Everything is perfect but I kept shooting myself in the foot. God only knows how much I lost those 3 trips I did that.

When I went to Nugget Lake, I ran a dream mat sluice right alongside another sluice with moss and carpet expanded metal and riffles, but I dumped 4 days worth of cons together (because I fucked up), and now I don't know which one works better.

I was at Ohio GPAA gold claim at the Mohican river Swank claim. I couldn’t use my dream matt due to not enough water speed and gravel even though classified kept getting wither bunged up at the bottom, or bungged up on the slick plate. If I have to much water speed the matt slips out and trys to go downriver.
At least just before it gets heavy with dirt.
I went so far as to purchase a buckabilly sluice for it so i would have a wider Y in front to catch water. Been very frustrating! Now water levels in Maine are almost non existant, so i cant even use the dredge i ended up buying.
I do miss finding gold in my pan!

HOW DO YOU LIKE THE SLUICE BODY ITSELF? SEEMS LIKE IT COULD USE A WIDER FLAIR. Sorry about the caps..lol. If i'm in the area, you up for doing some digging in the future? I retire next year and will be traveling and hunting for that shiny!

Hi I a. From central wi and was wondering if you think it is possible to have gold in the bottom
Your well mine is around 200' deep and had a had a clog In it and I let it dry out and before put the pipe back down I tapped on it and about a cereal bowl of flaky yellow mineral come out of it and looked just like gold unfortunately the weather took it back to the ground before I could get it tested

What part of Wisconsin are you prospecting? Just curious. I'm in Kansas and we have very fine gold in the Arkansas river, washed down from Colorado. Looking forward to trying my dream mat and sluice on our fine gold.
Man I need a sluice box like yours for dream mats just narrower. 6×36 what I'm looking for just tough unless I build my own.

Hello from Green Bay. Great video! I plan on moving from just a gold pan to a sluice. Dream mat seems to be the one to get! Did you make the sluice or do you have one you recommend? Would you recommend that size or a backpack version? Ever run into Lake Superior agates? Thanks!

Yes one of my favorite spots because i can take my family with and camp with lots of stuff near it to do. i have many other super secret spots with more gold but there a long drive and i cant show them or people will destroy them. Like the huge hole and massive damn that guy built is not cool to leave a lot i had to pick up all his trash on the way out.
try gold phenoms gravity panning give it a view work 160/ 100 trays to pans to cons per hr or go mining
I like the way you placed the big rocks when you were digging to add to your dam one ?.Why are you not wearing a hat to protect against sunburn on your noggon keep the videos comming you need a back pack pre packed that way you will have what you need. I drove 22 miles one time for batteries for my detector cause one went bad good will is a good place to find a back pack
It was not too bad out but occasional rain, my truck was about 2 min away I do take a backpack with me most times but I no like light travel . More time in the dirt lol

Yep he lost the big one rinsing his hand in the stream. Gold miner big mistake. From experience I know . I lost a nice piece of gold doing that.rinced my hand in the sream the peice of gold was gone that was in my pan . Just saying and trying to help .great vids...
