This game deserves an OMG is it ever Epic. I've been playing for about 5 hours and I am still at the beginning of the game. I can see me playing this game till the Quest 5 or 6 comes out. I know, I am that slow. This will change everything I thought a VR game can do.
This is great! This highlights the enthusiasm of VR fulfilling it's promise: being able to traverse new WORLDS (not a series of ROOMS). It's a replacement for reality, after all!
Okay the ladder descending beeing a black loading screen is pretty bad... But maybe they will give us 5+ Year VR veterans a different option. Still the attention to detail and obvious love for the work is nothing I expetcted from bigger studios nowadays. Glad that not every developer today is a money grabbin goblin.
@@BeardoBenjo Hey beardo I might make a Video about some thoughts I have on the game could I use your footage for that? Of course I'll mention that Its from this Video etc.
I've often wondered why games can't just figure you are at the top of the ladder so you want to be on the next level and just do the transition for you. I eventually figured it must be more difficult to implement than one would logically think because games that get everything else right seem to struggle with it. But this shows that it is possible (in very specific situations) to assume what the player is doing and do it for them. Can't wait to play.
Ok this got me excited for when I can download my free copy since I bought Quest 3 at launch. Having known nothing about the first game I wasn’t really hyped for this but I figured it’s a free game so why not. I think it’s a very strange decision for Meta to go all in on a sequel for a game that much of the community probably never played (it would have been nice to get the first one ported to Quest 2/3) but it seems like it will work as a stand alone experience fine enough. Also interesting that arguably one of their biggest games is bundled with Quest 3 so all of us early adopters get it for nothing but I’m thinking that was probably intended as a way to get people talking about the game. It can be difficult to sell a sequel on a platform where most of your player base doesn’t have access to the first one.
So good I don’t want it to end……… Speechless! this games is epic and set I new standard for a VR gaming experience. Why? This game plays so smooth no clunky actions like a lot of VR games and feels refined not rushed. The climatic events are beyond what you would expect from immersion to visual graphics. Every control is spot on! Loving the ability to throw and catch retrieve axe. Amazing The battle system and grabbing item and climbing spot on. Coming from a background in animation and graphics.

I've been seriously let down by all the recently released or to-be-released titles. But seeing the actual gameplay of A'sW2 is really exciting and brings the passion back to me. 100 hours of content available is insane, the last game I played for more than 40 hours was Saints and Sinners and I got very repeating gameplay after beating the game, if the 100-hour is true, I'd be very grateful. Cannot wait any longer for this game, I am a heavy VR user and it has been a while that I have not seen anything blowing my mind away.
Thank Benjo for all the amazing content, you have saved my money with all your posted gorgeous reviews in big time. I hope the next review will keep the same quality since they are perfect in all aspects. Thank you.

I honestly keep forgetting about the idol thing, but I'm 3/4th through the main story and haven't seen another character's ghost in a LONG time. So either everyone else is forgetting too, or most people haven't made it very far yet. Lol
@Psnation596 maybe, we'll see. But the main reason you don't in AS2 is because you can't get bored in 4 hours. And even then this same reviewer said there was filler and not a lot of gameplay variety

this is amazing. its like if Bethesda put actual work into their Skyrim VR port. the combat looks fun and engaging. the movement looks like it would reduce motion sickness by making you feel like you're going faster than what you actually are in game. the hand and finger tracking really pull you into the world too. this really looks like a system seller. there really is nothing bad I can say about the game from a VR point of view. it would work fine if it was a flat-screen game to. the main thing about VR is the headsets seeing how the screen door effect is more or less gone on the quest 3 and the sweet spot is bigger that was my main problem with VR last time I tried it. + this headset has ok pass through mode just by tapping the headset 2 times to pull you out of the experience to see the world around you + it has better audio than the quest 2 this may be the point where I think VR games and flat-screen games even out while feeling completely different. in short this may be the point where VR takes off for most people that are not into VR but into flat-screen gaming.

Just with the controls in VR and the movement. Feels weird ......... unless I'm playing HL Alyx! Im okay with that. Feels more natural and immersive to move around and do stuff. Loving AW2 though. Hi how much gig to install, regards

This is without QUEST 3 patch yet... imagine what itlll look like when they do
Hey Beardo, thanks for showing this off! I saw you mentioned there's no spacwarp here. Can you tell what framerate it is? I imagine 72 or 90
Quest 2 72 quest 3 90
I can't find this in my library. How do you DL & play it now ?. Says on the page not out till 15th ?..
I got meta quest 3 512gb so I can't wait to play this game when it comes out 😂
Will Quest 2 melt on my face? Little concerned.
No. The game was mainly developed for Quest 2 as all games currently releasing still are and everything will run smoothly and look great as this is actually not yet enhanced for Quest 3. Don‘t worry😀
The compass part made me so confused because i couldnt figure out what it meant by top wrist.
So this is filmed standalone on quest 3? Not pcvr? Looks incredible if so....
It is indeed
How is the resolution? On par with AC Nexus?
Hi bear do I know you will probbaly hate this question but I don’t know what pc and laptop to get if u could let me know what u use that would help
in general or for this game?
@@SaoGalaxVr in general
Should I play the first one before playing this one? Is it going to be good in almost 2024? How does it compare to this one?
I own the game already in my pc but i did not had a powerfull enough graphics card to run it..... I know, I bought games without been able to play them, do not judge me, they were on discount, lol
So its still a good game and its nice for context, but this game has a good recap feature, so it isnt completely required to play the first.
Super cool :)) 😀🤘🏼
MIX GOD OF WAR BIG ENEMY AND EPIC MOMENTS CLASSIC GAMES (NO THE NEW SAGA) ASSSAIN CRED ORIGIN AND VALHALLA OPEN WORLD MEGA QUEST MISIIONS NAD VR and you have it.... AWESOME COMBINATION
I just wish they'd told us it was going to be almost 40GB before I bought the 128GB Quest 3 instead of springing for the 512GB one. 😄
You can throw the sword and recall it tooo!!!!!!
How's the performance on Quest 2?
Use your flying axe in combat, bro!
And yet 4 hours of Arizona Sunshine 2 is worth £45? Just put this game into perspective. I haven't event finished Asgard's Wrath 1 yet...which was free when I bought my Quest 2.
