As for Kirishima his and Mina’s backstory and how it was dealt with during what will be season four of this anime, seems to suggest that there’s a blooming relationship between them. I get it Bakugo and Kirishima would be really good together, Kirishima is a prefect foil for Bakugo but fortunately they don’t have to be in that kind of relationship for us the get that dynamic.
Y'know, I like how a lot of MHA character names have Japanese puns hidden in them...then we have Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu, which is literally just the word for "iron" four times. XD

This anime is very interesting. It takes some of the usual tropes of anime and twists and turns them to make its own. One of the many reasons why this is a good anime.

They both sat next to each other and become friends back in ‘that’ time they were still in U.A ( sorry, it just reminded bad memories about Oboro ;-; ) So if they were friends along time ago of course Eraser could read Mic’s movements very properly
People call me a prude for saying I don’t like Momo’s costume, but I actually think she could expose more skin. And this is the episode that makes me think that. She pulls a cannon out of her stomach without ripping her bra. Her usual dress covers her entire back, and only leaves about 4 inch wide space up her stomach and chest. She often has to open it just to make larger things. She could have the full range of her lower torso and her back if she were to wear a sports bra or a sleeveless crop top. Even a backless dudou would be more practical (think Juri from Street Fighter). I get the reason why her costume is the way it is, it’s fanservice. And I’m not against that. But her outfit looks ridiculous, and for someone that wants to be taken seriously, she looks silly. Actually, I think half the class’ costumes aren’t very good, boys and girls. I like these kinds of episodes where they all just wear their gym gear or casual clothes.

Ahhhh this episode was so good. The scene when Deku takes the lead by slamming the ground in front of Todoroki and Bakugou literally made me scream out of joy both the first time I watched and even still now. It just gets me so excited even though I already know what’s going to happen. Proof that this show is like you said, incredible, and that it doesn’t lose its excitement. I remember crying along with Deku when he made it through the gate, he’s just so honest with his emotions like you mentioned at the end, and I respect that. He’s truly a great character that I look up to for several reasons as I can see myself in him. And it’s not just Deku, nearly every character is amazing and inspirational in their own ways. Uraraka is the first that comes to mind after her episode at the start of the season. Overall, MHA has exceeded my expectations in all regards and I’m so glad I finally caved and watched it last November. (Although I wish I didn’t binge it in 3 days 😂) Also being introduced to Hatsume this episode was a nice touch. She immediately peaked my interest so I’m excited to see how you like her in the next couple episodes. Thanks again for the great reaction and commentary. Your thoughts are always fun to hear. Todoroki best boy!! By the way this episode revealed Todoroki is the son of the number 2 hero, ie the guy only second to All Might. You did not really comment on it. Anyway Deku winning like that was just so hype I have no count the number of times I have rewatched it
I enjoyed this episode the first time I watched it, and the second time watching it is even better. I've always liked this and it made me love Todoroki even more.

All Might brings Deku as his plus one to a science expo AM's old friend/sidekick(?)/costume designer is featured in. Then plot happens. It also came in theaters with an OVA featuring All Mights early days as a hero, and the predecessor who gave him One for All. I would suggest not watching either until finishing at least season 2, since some plot details from about 5 episodes before the end of it will be spoiled quite casually.

This is one of my favorite episodes. I loved the show before but, for me, this episode tools it to the next level.
