Rottnest Island Dives - 3 April 2024

Rottnest Island Dives 13 April 2024.
Dive 1, dive # 145, max depth 18.3m
Dive 2, dive # 146, max depth 23.6m
Had a freeflowing regulator into my mouth (though didn't realise what was happening for a bit) in the first dive right at the end which caused me to feel pretty crook. So have had better dive days but the vis and conditions were excellent and time out diving is always a good day even when things go wrong.
Second dive my buddy and I saw an absolute massive Queensland Groper, so that was a first for me in Perth!
Also found loads of the ever grumpy blue devils, at least one massive smooth stingray at each dive site which swam calmly by. A little stingaree, a harlequin fish, fox fish, baldchin gropers, many different wrasse, bullseye, a couple of blue morwongs, a western sea carp, footballer sweeps, one teeny and one massive white barred boxfish and many more fish friends!
