    The Amptweaker Tight Metal Pro II is now back in stock!!!

    I screwed up and got the tight version thinking the bass response was the reason for the "tight" label. I mainly use extended range guitars. Oh well, time to bust out the old 6 string standard haha. Great video!

      Thanks Scotty! While it is true that the Fat Metal Pro sounds better with 7/8 (helps clean up the mud of the lower registers a bit better), don't feel too bad having bought the Tight instead. The Tight can definitely deliver some in-your-face tones with extended range as well, will just require a bit more fiddling with the knobs is all, but you will still be able to get some kick ass distortion. 🤘🤘

    I get my tight metal pro 2 in a few day's and i'm so hyped to try it out... But at the same time there is this scary thought: What if i don't like it at all...?
    Nah, it's gonna be a blast i'm pretty sure...😅

    • @WarriorInteractiveMusic
      @WarriorInteractiveMusic  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It is a thought, but here's another thought -which I think it is more accurate - what if you REALLY like it, to the point that you can't put the guitar down? That was our experience with both the tight and the fat metal pro, each gave that tight, growling sound that can make even the simplest power chord feel massive, so overall it was a very addicting feeling tbh 😄

    Good luck for your channel. Not sure the pedal is digital as you said, but rather analog, like a solid state preamp.

    • @WarriorInteractiveMusic
      @WarriorInteractiveMusic  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for the well wishing! You are absolutely right, both Fat and Tight Metal Pro are all analog. We'll include a note to point it out in the vid, thanks for pointing it out!

  • @menschlicheswesen84

    24:55 completly digital...?
    I hope this was a mistake, the website say's it's a full analog circuit...😮

    • @WarriorInteractiveMusic

      It was a mistake on our end, it is analog, so worry not! :) - probably we will have to put some annotation at that part of the vid correcting the error.

      Thank's... I paid a lot 475€ on Amazon but i love this pedal it's the base of my board now...
      I like to have EQ delay and chorus pedal in the global loop and boost always on...
      But i have a question for you guy's: Can i put my amp head in the side track to get the lead channel of my amp when i step on S/T and the amptweaker goodness when i engage the tmp2 itself...? Notice: The tmp2 out goes into the return of my engl but also from the return of the side track into the send of my engl and from the send of the side track loop into the main input of the engl...
      Would this work...?
      I will try it anyway but maybe u done it before...🤔

    • @WarriorInteractiveMusic

      @@menschlicheswesen84 Sorry for not seeing this earlier...Glad to hear the pedal is part of your basic arsenal!!
      Not sure I follow the objective but lemme see if I understand it correctly: I imagine you have hooked the TMP2 through its' Global Send and Return to the ENGL's FX loop (or are you driving the TMP2 in front of the amp), and -again, if I am understanding this correctly- you want to route the ENGL's lead channel to TMP2's Side Track so that when in S/T mode you use only the lead channel and in essence bypass the TMP's distortion?
      If that's so, wouldn't disengaging the TMP2 and switching to the ENGL's lead channel do the trick?
      Sorry if I misunderstood the question, has been a long day, but if you try or tried what you are asking above before reading and responding to this, please let us know how it went, always happy to learn new cool tricks!!😎

    How noisy is the tight metal pro without a seperated powerstation with just intern pedalboard supply into the wall socket...?

    • @WarriorInteractiveMusic

      Not sure I got the question right, but in any case, you can power up the Tight Metal Pro with its power supply brick. Whether you plug it directly into a wall socket, or through something like the Hum X, would probably depend on whether you are picking up any unwanted noise due to the circuitry or not. Beyond that, the pedal has a built-in noise gate you can dial as well.
      Hope this answers the question! :)

  • @KB-uw6zv

    What noise gate do you like to put in front of it?

    • @WarriorInteractiveMusic

      Gotta admit Amptweaker has a solid gate that's built-in in their pedals, but if you need some extra noise reduction, strongly recommend Boss's NS-1X. Although an NS-2 will do the job just fine too tbh!

    • @KB-uw6zv

      Thank you! I can’t decide currently but think I may get the tight metal. Originally started wanting the MXR EVH 5150 Overdrive till I found out about Amptweaker.

    • @WarriorInteractiveMusic

      @@KB-uw6zv Have yet to try the MXR EVH 5150, heard tons of good things about it, but I'd probably go with the Tight Metal, for the simple reason that there is more knobs to finetune and shape a unique tone. And the name sure does it justice, if a tight sound is what you are after, you are not gonna be disappointed!
