    what no one seems to want to talk about is the fact that eastern Eu counties like Poland and Lithuania are very hawkish on this conflict. They want to pay back for their defeat at the hands of the soviets during the 2nd world war and subsequent occupation by to soviets. They all know that as long as Russia exists in it current size, they can never feel safe. The pre 1990 Eu countries are not that interested, they want to keep the hostilities manageable and they don't want to risk a war with russia. Countries like France and German have a very comfortable life and why would they sacrifice that for Ukraine.

    • @kn0wmore126
      @kn0wmore126 2 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Why should ANY country have to risk war or sacrifice their security for Ukraine? Ukraine (regime) brought it on themselves. If they hadn't violated the Minsk accords again and again, terrorizing Russian speakers in the Donbas for 8 years on end, then none of this would have happened. But they have...and this is the result. And the US/EU? They supported them throughout their endeavors, thinking they could weaken Russia. All big mistakes for which Ukrainian soldiers are paying with their lives, and US/EU citizens with their livelihoods (economy).

      @Olaf Sigurson You obviously haven't been closely following this conflict. The way Ukraine lies is astonishing, partly because all of mainstream media echoes and embellishes their claims with little to no vetting. Does Russia lie? @Olaf Sigurson Right, so when Russians claimed soldiers of Snake Island were not killed by them, but captured and they were all alive and well, they lied? No they didn't and they even returned them all back in POW exchange. And it's Ukrainians who pronounced their own men dead prematurely. So no, it's not always one sided, both sides tell lies and truths. Or hide the truths by not saying anything, when that suits them.

    Germany should set its eyes on Ukrainian oil and gas instead of Russian oil and gas. That might clear up their perspective. Shorter distance. Slightly lower costs. Prices probably decent. Focus on training and delivery, pushing the Russians out and developing those Ukrainian gas fields. Accelerate a clean power program and convert to electric heat. With a good plan and action, something Germans can be good at, everybody will be warm in the winters ahead. Industry will have the energy it needs. The soldiers doesnt have the education to maintain the systems and the m777 howitzers have been really badly recieved.
      They break quickly after short use and the russians find them with their artillery fire search equipment and destroy them because they take time to desemble and move.

    • @WangMingGe

      Americans believe everything American is superior. Like when press talked about the m777s, they insisted they massively outranged everything Soviet...but they only compared it to the D20 and D30 guns, which, while most numerous, are not the only thing in the Ukrainian arsenal. There are two types of howitzers, 152mm calibre, which Ukraine possessed a combined 471 of at the start of the war, which either equaled the M777's range (always quoted with the base-bleed/rocket boosted shells) or bettered it with cheaper conventional ammo. We have received 100 or so m777s and it is doubtful that every shell is the base-bleed high tech kind. Is it really sensible to stop supplying shells for a much greater number of Soviet artillery, which is often just as good, for the sake of demanding aid and helping US corporations? Ukraine should use everything at its disposal. But, you see, the western media tend to be shills for arms companies, as they were for pharma companies the last few years.

The agenda of the billionaires and multinational companies controlling so much of what is going on in the U.S. and EU have their own crony capitalist "don't rock the boat" agenda. They just wanna continue bribing politicians, to evade paying taxes and have lenient (if any) regulations on the legislation impacting how they can maximize profits. These corporations and billionaires couldn't care less about human lives or "democracy". At this moment a billionaire like Jeff Bezos or Elon Musk, each have a net worth exceeding the state budget of Denmark. Bernard Arnault & family are almost there, and probably have a net worth around 10% of the state budget of France. There are plenty of resources, but they are frozen as being part of a handful of peoples endless greed after power and wealth, detrimental to everybody and everything except for themselves.

US service personnel are already stationed in all the frontline NATO countries, teaching somebody used to 21st century technology takes time, let alone those used to using old Soviet weapons systems that are obsolete. Ukraine is currently losing ground very, very slowly as they fight for every inch of their country. By doing so they are both gaining time to train up new personnel, train existing personnel on the new western weapons systems and at the same time degrade the Russian front line military, both in trained personnel and weapons systems. This won't be over very quickly unless Putin is truly dying of cancer, it will take time, one of the reasons the Russians have returned to old fashioned artillery is that all their guided systems use western computer tech and chips and because of the sanctions they can't get any to replace those used, plus Putin will always be forced to keep beck troops and weapons in reserve in case NATO ever do become involved and also China, they might appear pals but there are disputed border areas China would grab if they could.

      They get western weapons and use but they end up being destroyed. That’s a number one target towards Russia and bombardment everything that is still standing

    The Russian soldier must go through very severe training. They have to be prepared to face any Ukrainian women or children they encounter.

      Bit like the US snipers killing women and children, rot helcopter gunships killing journalists, hellfire missle strikes on a wedding party killing 100 in Afghan, etc etc.
      The US is the ultimate killer of WOmen and children.
      Julian Assange has exposed the cowardly US army/Air force and its targeting pf civillians.
      Remember in Syria it was Russian/Iranian grunts who destroyed ISIS as the US were incapable(for that read cant fight man to man)
