He died in a carbombing back in 2018. The VICE reports are most often clearly biased toward West, but when you add them to other raw videos from back then, the picture is really inhumane. Some oligarchs with personal armies backed by nations playing people to take arms. Also what the series doesn't show is the radicalization that Ukraine saw from 2014 onwards.
They don't show you the *forced military draft* enacted right after the coup by the Interim Pro-Maidan Government, and the soldiers sent as cannon fodders (either you go east to fight, or you got 5 to 8 years of prison) to take out opposition members of the anti-maidan from 2014 (with mothers from West-Ukraine protesting in recruitment centers) and shelling and bombing in UA territory. And the other side (DPR, LNR), these opposition members, trying to save their power using people suffering from these tragedies.
A bunch of criminals used the Coup as a way to secure some power, unlishing private mercenaries to kill oppositions, and the situation spiraling out of control to a full scale civil war. Poor people are now victims of not only death, but also information, as their deaths are used by the different sides to recruit for more deaths.

Monsignor Just got the definition of Cuckold. I don't think you meant to call me that... Also I support Donbass and the Russian Federation for one major reason. The coup in Ukraine at this time last year. Its factual that the US was directly involved in at least producing propaganda that helped make the west support Euromaidan. I can provide proof of this if needed. Along with that, it has been said by Ukraine AND Russia there are no regular Russian troops fighting in Ukraine. The only Russian officials are there with Ukrainian officials due to the fact Ukraine refuses to negotiate with the people of Donetsk and Luhansk. But Canada, Germany, and the United States all have soldiers helping train Ukrainian troops in Kiev and to the east. Or have offered some type of military aid. I respect Russia for offering humanatarian aid and limited military aid but still being a major support for Donetsk and Luhansk. I understand no side is perfect, and both tell giant lies. But when looking directly at the evidence I can't help but side with Donbass.

There is a restaurant in L'viv called " Kryiivka "- it's designed like an underground bunker where the UPA garbage used to hide from the NKVD. The idea is very original and entertaining- unless your loved ones were tortured and killed by the UPA that is. You're not gonna be allowed in unless you say their " Slava Ykraine- Geroyam Slava " slogan, the waitstaff carries fake guns, you're not allowed to speak Russian- if you do, you're gonna be thrown into jail and the only way out is to sing something in Ukrainian. At that time the Loyalists called the Rebels " kolorady "- because of the Ribbon of St. George that we used to wear. So my cafe was gonna be called " Cafe Kolorad ", you're not gonna be allowed in without the Ribbon of St. George, the menu would have been " appropriate ", etc. I forgot how I wanted to dress the waitstaff. But my " horrible " brother figure stole my idea and decided to name it " Separ " instead.

As usual brilliant interview of Simon Ostrovsky VICE News with Aleksandr Zakharchenko, the leader of the breakaway Donetsk People’s Republic. Really depressing perspectives for people who end up under DPR control. Because for my understanding DPR does not offer any regional development program, which should employ people and generate TAX's for the region. I am afraid it will be future similar to Palestine and people will live in the region on donations from Russia. I doubt it would be possible to stabilize the region, simply because as long they are fighting, they don't have to report about regional development program in numbers, the second region will become stable people will begin comparing DPR conditions and Ukraine. Simon in interview already ask that question and Aleksandr replied with standard DPR rhetorics: Ukraine is nazis, we should not support it and we may suffer on our way to prosperity, however he have not described, how he or anyone in DPR would achieve prosperity level after separation from Ukraine.

This United Nations principle of self determination has been the core reason I support DPR and LPR separatists. I see no difference between them fighting for their independence when us Americans fought for our independence from UK. Russia helping DPR and LPR is just like France helping our 13 colonies. Obviously Russia and France have/had their own interests to why they got involved. But the principle of choosing your own future still remains. I support self determination in Donbas and Crimea. Parikshit Bhujbal They're not bullet holes. They're shrapnel holes from a missile explosion. He knows the plane was shot down by a BUK. He has to lie about it, or else Putin will assassinate him.

Parikshit Bhujbal It is interesting that he mentiod that DPR didnt have material to shoot surface to air missles. A few days before MH17 they shot down an Antanov of Ukraine military.... With a BUK or Gadfly installation.

If it was BUK, there would be 100+ videos with rocket contrail that stays 10 minutes after launch. It was only other aircraft.

Thanks for posting this interesting & informative interview. As former citizen of Odessa now living in Australia for many years, I have been following developments in Ukraine since late 2013. I get the impression that Zakharchenko is a clever & intelligent military / political leader around whom the majority of people in Donetsk / Donbass have gathered. The Minsk II agreements should have seen the end of military confrontations & the start of serious negotiations in regard to full autonomy for this region. The general situation in western Ukraine & eastern Ukraine is quite bad....I don't see any way out of this bloody mess, except for the so called government in Kiev to finally allow the people of this region to govern themselves with NO political or military interference from Kiev or other paramilitary brigades...
