Who is it for? I'll tell you who it is for, me and I have one for about 2 weeks and can't get over the useful touch pads, controller customization (one buton can do more than one action) and having the plug-ins to customize it like I did with my PSP back in the day.
Had a question on the 512gb steam deck oled regarding the panel used and the dead pixels ? Also headphone jack issues ? Sorry for the bothering, these things are appearing on TH-cam alot and if I get one with these issues won't be able to get a replacement due my location. Would appreciate the guide
Despite the bias reviews it is better as a windows machine. Ive been using windows 11 pro sense day one, i have found only one game that could not play at 50 fps, thats enshrouded, and its cuz the deck only has a gig of virtual memory. It needs to be 32. But aside from that, its the best windows OS machine I've ever owned. Linux os aside.
LOL, did you said it as a joke? Linux is made by Linux Foundation and the head is Linus Torvalds, absolutely no relation with Linus of LTT. SteamOS is based on Arch Linux and is made by Valve. nice video :)
The Steam Deck is not a Windows PC. Plus, the Steam Deck has older hardware in it, and is practically obsolete compared to recent PC handhelds. Best thing about the Steam Deck is the form-factor, 4 buttons on the back and good thumb-stick placement, but I don't know how good the d-pad is in games like Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, Soul Calibur, King Of Fighters, Guilty Gear and Killer Instinct.
Dude Coming From a Steam deck Owner Who Battles Buying the Legion Go on Daily Rn The SD is The King It plays everything efficiently only knock is Its linux but im on Windows i play everything Brudda the Deck at ITS PRICE Wont be obsolete for at least a few more years bravo valve bravo
I don't remember saying it was a Win PC. Did I? I'll have to watch it again. And I disagree about it being an obsolete HHPC. There will always be newer hardware but with the fixit options, stellar tech support and pricing add much value that the newest HHPC's simply don't have. Thanks for watching.
@@SeriouslyTechStuff You never said that the Steam Deck is a Windows PC, but when people hear PC, they think Windows.. so many games are available for PC / Mac ... what's the difference? Windows itself, makes a device it a traditional PC.
@@sunrisesunset1734 im not even buying the oled but ill tell you -They also slapped on A Battery that Doubles the Playtime🤣 -slapped on a Fan the Cools the deck under 20 Degrees no longer warm at all -Slapped on Board that Doubles the storage compacity And Has 5x the Storage Standard then the Lcd Deck (the one i have) And dont say slapped an oled like thats a minor upgrade 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Im not even getting it by the way im Team Legion Go

LOL glad you are enjoying it. I like it a lot.
"On the back, we have 4 buttons. Now, these are actually 8 buttons..." *immediately turns off the video*. Bad video, bad information.
LOL, yeah, I could have explained that a bit better. Thanks for watching
Agree 😅
@@SeriouslyTechStuffI actually think you explained it perfectly, idk what this other dude was talking about

All I can tell you is I have had no issues with the screen nor the headphone jack so far.
@SeriouslyTechStuff great and I hope you never do.
Enjoy 👍
Nice vid, and thanks for raising awareness that Linus is the true creator of Linux and that scary beard guy has been taking the credit✌️❤️!
I know right?

@@thedailyidiot4817 What price? Valve slapped an OLED display on that old chipset and is charging an arm and a leg for it, no pun intended, lol.
