The size distinction that classified these as snubs rather than large ships is accurate and has more to do with volume of displaced space than a shops features. It's small enough to spawn on a size 1 capable pad, so it's a snub. For the record, more subs have quantum capability than not.
This was my first pledge ship. I thought the gimmick of hydrogen scoops would be good and useful for all the delivery missions I would be doing. Little did I know I would be done with delivery missions within a week and wanted something bigger and better.
i use the 100i when i go exploring around a planet because of the AIR system - as long as you don't fly full speed, it will eventually refill your Hydrogen tank and you can keep flying. i've been out flying around microtech for a couple of hours without having to return to a station for fuel. i just need to bring along snacks and drinks! my only wish is that there would be a toilet that slides out from somewhere for when/if that mechanic comes into play. it's one of my daily driver ships too if i'm just going from place to place, like going to Area18 for the expo - traveling in style!
100i is one of the best starters to me: cuttie, fast, small, carry cargo, coffee machine.. oh, wait... yeah. I like it! Very high usage of point 1 to point 2.
I have the 125a. It's used when I need to call a ship from a ground spawn. Since it's small and quick it can get in close to bunkers. It's also great for running around Stanton looking for loot. The side door is also great for Kopion hunting. I don't have to leave the ship to shoot them.
I love the look and handling of the 100 series. It is great for small-squad infiltration (1 pilot, 1 on bed, 1 lying on the floor or cargo bay). BUT the $$$ to AUEC ratio is bad. So if you are at all willing to spend more, get a more expensive & impactful ship and earn this one in game.
I love my 125a, it's the perfect little shuttle for getting around somewhere fast. The interior could be a bit more Mercedes and a bit less VW, but I love everything else about it.
There's just something about the look of the 100 series. It just speaks to me. Moreso even than any of the other Origin ships, pretty much all of which I love.
The 100 series is in a weird spot due to the existence of the 300 series For example, the 135C and the 315P cost the same in pledge and in-game, and yet the 315P is better in every conceivable way.
I just noticed something today that I had not seen before. Although there are no working mirrors in any of the ships the Mustang Beta has a reflection in the little windows to the living quarters that are very close to a reflection mechanic that I haven’t seen on the interior of ANY ship. If you don’t have the ship, one panel salvage trip in the Vulture will get you the ship with change to spare.
I really like the Origin 100 series; practical for FPS missions like bunkers, and quick out of Atmosphere. I’m partial to the 135c for storage and high maneuverability
When it looks like the luxury option of starter ships, I kind of expected it to have more amenities. Instead, you get a cot that slides out of the wall, what a deal.
Spot on. The Titan Avenger starter pack is better in every single way compared to the 100 series. The 100 series is something you buy when you've bought everything else in game and you just can't figure out what to sink some extra aUEC into.
this ship is like a safe boat... spawn everywhere, can go pretty much everywhere... i think its the only starter who can be spawn in ground landing pad and carry a lil cargo
When they were first announced, I gave them a pass as I thought them overpriced for what they do. However, I do find them to be useful to get in and out of bunker missions quickly and efficiently. Now that the Stor*All boxes are working, it's great to stick a box in the back of the 135c to use for looting. Wish the bed would fold for easier access to the internal storage. Do agree that it's a sound in-game purchase.
even tho the 100 series is overpriced for pledge, I just really really love the 100 series because it was my first in game ship after buying my first aurora MR game pack. it has a soft/sweet spot for me, useless or not, i love it so much
Imho the 100-series is underrated. It's a very nice little ship and the AiR system will become something many wish they had in their other starter ships. I especially love the easy entry and no further door on my way to the pilotseat. :)
you can squeeze a 100 series into a Carrack. So if that is a consideration, and it is to me, it is a good reason to own one of these ships. I think I have a 100 and a 125 myself. I think I got the second one becasue there was a special discout on a starter pack with a unique skin.
125a is my 100 version. The fuel regeneration is just too good, as well as the ability to be called at outpost. Its a great scout ship for a mining/salvage group
Small ships are in a very weird spot in SC. Aside from combat and being a taxi for you to go from place to place, there is no gameplay loop they fill good enough. I would like to see some highly specialized missions you could only do on a small ship, so they can be more than just a step onto bigger better ships.
Yeap Titian would be my go to for a smaller ship. Just wouldn’t see me using this ship. It’s a sharp looking ship though and I’m sure many will find a place for it in their fleet.
10:37 You neglected to state that they are the ONLY ships, with a quantum drive, that you can spawn on vehicle platforms. Such as the ones on the moons; like Daymar, where everyone would go to spawn vehicles.
I don't know what the situation is with mining facilities since the cargo refactor but up till then these were the largest ships with both a bed, cargo room, and a quantum drive that could be called at the ground vehicle terminals. I haven't been to a mining facility since the cargo refactor so I don't know if you can still call ground vehicles there. Because of this, this made it the best all-around "emergency ship" if you are stuck at a mining facility by pirates or crashing.
My 135c has the FUN bug at the moment of the interior storage compartment at the rear is now on the outside, floating above the ship and the textures are all messed up. With invisible geometry that makes the ship broken and so unappealing to play with.
There's definitely a gap in the market for a military spec with a bubble turret instead of the bed so you can have a gunner and a crew of 2. Idk, the 180f and it could be 2mil or something around that.
The 100i in particular needs an upgrade in my opinion, maybe even the 125a as well. You've got that whole cargo section on the 135c, but... what is it on the other models?
I had the 100i as a starter, its absolute garbage for a srarter ship. Any other thing than that for what they can do and how nice they are to fly, they are great.
Don't forget, you can spawn these at outpost ground vehicle pads too.
Good Point!
This is exactly what keeps my 135c in my hangar. It's nice having a small capable ship that you can spawn anywhere
This is one of my favorite features, PB spawning + QT.
The size distinction that classified these as snubs rather than large ships is accurate and has more to do with volume of displaced space than a shops features. It's small enough to spawn on a size 1 capable pad, so it's a snub. For the record, more subs have quantum capability than not.

BMM perhaps..lol
Been playing for years and box missions in my 100i still one of my favorite things to do lol
I love how they look and fly. I especially like the design of the entryway stairs.

This channel deserves to be bigger
Loving the reviews! It’s so handy for newcomers to find out about all of the many ships in the verse
The Titan makes ships of this size tough to rank as it feels like most of the time it is just better.
I love the 135c nice all around starter ship. Trunk kinda tricky but gets the job done.
100i is one of the best starters to me: cuttie, fast, small, carry cargo, coffee machine.. oh, wait... yeah. I like it! Very high usage of point 1 to point 2.

100 series with it's scoop seems like a useful niche explorer outside of a starter. I wish all the starters did something like this.
Really liking these reviews as someone relatively new to actually playing the game
Glad you're enjoying them!
There's just something about the look of the 100 series. It just speaks to me. Moreso even than any of the other Origin ships, pretty much all of which I love.
Great reason to get one! Same thing with me and the A2... I wish a cheaper ship spoke to me lol
I really like the little Origin stamp on these. Maybe that's weird, but it's aesthetic.
The 100 series is in a weird spot due to the existence of the 300 series
For example, the 135C and the 315P cost the same in pledge and in-game, and yet the 315P is better in every conceivable way.
100i is smaller and has overpowered weapons. It also got better maneuverability. But I take your point!
I have x2 "starter" ships on my account for smaller scale operations. The cutter scout and the 135c for their extreme versatility.
I imagine an origin 100 as a future Honda jet, while the 315 is a gulfstream

There's one on display at Lorville you can walk into for free.

Oh nice just finished the 300 series video and now this one comes up. Guess I'll keep hanging out. Love the 100 series.

Whoop good luck friends. And thanks for the videos!
I don't have a lot of experience with the Origin brand of ships but I do find it awesome you can customize some of them before you purchase
Love that ships like this can spawn at mining outposts
Can't wait to see the rest of the origin ship. I've never flown an origin ship.
this ship is like a safe boat... spawn everywhere, can go pretty much everywhere... i think its the only starter who can be spawn in ground landing pad and carry a lil cargo

Love your videos! Keep at it!
This is my second best shuttle for trips to station/moon after the 85x.
even tho the 100 series is overpriced for pledge, I just really really love the 100 series because it was my first in game ship after buying my first aurora MR game pack. it has a soft/sweet spot for me, useless or not, i love it so much
If the 100 series has no fans I am dead
If the origin 100 had 2 seats for pilot and co pilot it would be great, 2 more jump seats would make it perfect
Absolutely gorgeous series of ships
Imho the 100-series is underrated. It's a very nice little ship and the AiR system will become something many wish they had in their other starter ships.
I especially love the easy entry and no further door on my way to the pilotseat. :)
I love the look of these ships. It makes me think the 300 series should be bigger, though.
The esthetics are very pleasing
Great for box runs or even scouting for minerals on a planet while other mine (ship, ROC, Hand).
I agree with your assessment. Might even rate them all a point lower. That "bed". Just screams "jail".
One of my favorite ships for starters, fast and kind of hard to hit
My love is for the 125a with a nice carbon paint 😊
you can squeeze a 100 series into a Carrack.
I have the 135c. Its my running around ship. It has a quick claim time and it is very fast to move around the verse.
Small ships are in a very weird spot in SC. Aside from combat and being a taxi for you to go from place to place, there is no gameplay loop they fill good enough. I would like to see some highly specialized missions you could only do on a small ship, so they can be more than just a step onto bigger better ships.
Love the 135c just can't find a place for it in my fleet. Also The Golden Child, great movie.
Love your vids man keep it up
The 135c is the only 100 series I like. I would get a 315P over it any day. The only advantage it has is it can be called at vehicle pads.
Yeap Titian would be my go to for a smaller ship. Just wouldn’t see me using this ship. It’s a sharp looking ship though and I’m sure many will find a place for it in their fleet.
Got 2 of these with LTI, thinking they'll be the perfect shuttle for AI crew to do missions on the side for me
I love the 125a, but it's the kind of ship you just get in game.
omg eddy murphy! Got to love him!
10:37 You neglected to state that they are the ONLY ships, with a quantum drive, that you can spawn on vehicle platforms. Such as the ones on the moons; like Daymar, where everyone would go to spawn vehicles.
Good point!
i really like the design of the Origin ships
My first starter ship 🙌
Fits on the XXS pads on the Liberator.
If i ever get bored of pisces i will upgrade it to 100i
My starter was the 100i. I see my luck at starting games with the wrong choice continues.
this ship is great, but as you said it's overpriced when you compare it to the competition.
My 135c has the FUN bug at the moment of the interior storage compartment at the rear is now on the outside, floating above the ship and the textures are all messed up. With invisible geometry that makes the ship broken and so unappealing to play with.
I had this one for a while. A good surprise! 😎👌🏾
Best snub in the game
Ships are just a bit too small for me but Thanks for the review!
There's definitely a gap in the market for a military spec with a bubble turret instead of the bed so you can have a gunner and a crew of 2. Idk, the 180f and it could be 2mil or something around that.
So good such a great ship fits in Carrack😂🎉
They're really nice ships, they're just so unnecessarily expensive
Great interior - but hard to beat a Titan out.
Did not realize it has a hydrogen scoop
Scatterguns and Rattlers? Brother, we gotta talk...
This is for the final game balance not the current game meta lol
Wait.. a m, m, Mantis???? ooooooooo hell yeah
I really enjoy my titan
Do the fuel intakes work? Or not yet? Also when you do the 400i if you own one can you check the scanning station ?
Wish i saw this before buying the 100i...😅
Was ingame but still...
Asop clutter and all that.
So for a new player do the better weapons of the titan make up for being a bigger easy to hit target while you learn some skills?
The Titan is a nice mix.
The smaller ships benefites from more skill under the old flight model.
Now DPS rules.
The 100i in particular needs an upgrade in my opinion, maybe even the 125a as well. You've got that whole cargo section on the 135c, but... what is it on the other models?
125a's cargo is lost to the extra missiles, 100i - no idea.
It sure does look pretty.
10:00 Do you think of the Aurora as a different class? Because IIRC one Aurora variant can also carry 6 SCU, right?
Aurora is a size two small. 100i is a size one snub size.
@@billionaireninjas Ah, I see. Thanks.
Got sub from me, great video.
Awesome, thank you!
Please to be hooking me up. Great job😮
a nice ship, but would stick to the titan
I had the 100i as a starter, its absolute garbage for a srarter ship.
Any other thing than that for what they can do and how nice they are to fly, they are great.
Can they still be spawned on vehicle pads?
Yes!
@@billionaireninjas worth the money then for a cheap runabout!
pisces rescue is just better imho
i never understood this ship line
dibs
These ships are great at doing box run missions. other than that pretty useless
I disagree. I think the 135c is a capable small cargo run ship. I didnt mention it but I also think the 100i might make a good smuggling ship.
I don't know what this ship is good for 🤔
These ships feel so zippy.
comment
I'm not a fan of the 100 series.
Not really a fan of Origin.
never liked them
