For the last 2 months, I’ve been trying to figure out which ptz camera I wanted, I narrowed it down to an ebitcam or a cam park, I’ve heard great things about these reolink cameras, problem I got is the only cell service where I live is Verizon so I didn’t even consider these reolinks until now, thx for the video update, are you still happy with your reolink cause now I’m looking at the white ones which are way cheaper than the camo ones and just put a camo paint job on it, have you tried the keen pt yet?
Will this SIM card allow you to talk over the Reolink Go PTZ cameras? I noticed the SIM card says no talk or text but I didn't know if the camera uses data for its talk capabilities.
Yes you can talk on camera if someone is standing in front of it and you need to say something to them. I think that’s what your asking. Thx for watching!
I just got this camera and was debating returning it due to poor T-Mobile service in my area. I had contact reolink and was instructed that I could only use T-mobile or Vodaphone, which I had not heard of. Thanks for the update! I will give this a shot!

Quick question for you on your SIM card, did you have to do anything like call a phone number or input anything into a web site to get the SIM card to work or was it simply a plug and play type setup? I just received my trail camera and had bought a Verizon sim card for it and it's not working at all? So I'm kinda at a loss and was trying to find a solution on line? I may just try and buy one of these SIM cards you have? Thanks.
I had issues as well. Supposed to be plug and play but had to email them my camera serial number and SIM card number and they input it on their end. No issues after that. Hope that helped and thank you for watching! Dave

So you have to pay monthly for the cam? Just like you do your phone ? I do not feel safe where I am. My husband ( father of my children ) died last year and kids have all grown up and out being law abiding productive members of society . Like I taught them. I realize this might sound strange. My brain is having trouble processing info. I just can’t understand all these security cams. I’m overwhelmed. AND I am supposed to be looking over my Aunt who has rental property. Went to one of them two days ago. Recently vacant and BOTH TUBS had recently been used. The claw foot tub was still full of water AND IT WAS WARM. I was horrified because, what if I’m not able to go check and she does? And, she walks in on some meth heads? Or something? I know I sound like I’m nuts. But, honestly we have lost 10 people in two years. My husband. Her husband. Another Uncle, my Father ( her brother ) , my Step Dad of over 40 years. So? I have no other male to ask 🤷🏻♀️
Wow sorry to hear all of that! It seems to come in waves. The camera is cellular not Wi-Fi so you have to buy a data plan only (no text and no talk) through EIOTClub. I paid for a 12 mth plan and get 2GB of data per month (more than enough) and it was $8 month. I just paid for the entire year but you can do month to month and it closer to $10 mth. It was fairly simple but you may have to employ a 12 year old to help you like I did lol ! They come out of the womb with an iPhone I think! You can track an intruder, record, take photos, sound a siren, or even talk to them. It also records them talking, really pretty neat camera. Hope that helps and thank you for watching!

I bought a 12 month plan that has 2GB per month and i have never even come close to going over each month. I see it off nonstop when I’m there and then the horses/mules trip it when I’m not there. I get bugs/rain/deer/cats setting it off as well. I live stream fairly often to check on the horses/mules as well. Hope that helps and thx for watching! Dave

@@Gerald-iz7mv you can set it from a low resolution to high as to conserve data. Now sure what it is, don’t quote me but it’s like 780 and 1080? I just keep on low. I had issues setting it up just bc I’m not computer savvy, but I had my son help me. It’s fairly straight forward and everything is pretty much plug and play. No issues with rain or weather of any type. The app for your phone is free but your using data anytime you log on. I did look at other cameras and watched one guy who had like 6 cameras all side by side. Not one really stood out from the other but I went with this one bc it was cellular and I needed that bc of no Wi-Fi at farm. I’d definitely go with this again and would have no second thoughts

Good afternoon Dave,its a real hot one today up in the 30s.Far to hot to be doing anything outside.You look like you could do with a cool drink,l can see the sweat rolling down your face.lt feels like it's been awhile since l seen you.Nothing really going on around here apart from the usual traffic noise and the smell of drugs being smoked.lt seems to be the normal lately as you never see a police man on duty but they know its going on,but nothing gets done about it.Makes me very cross to live around this sort of atmosphere.People do complain and report all the time but nothing gets done.Thats my rant for today 😊 Good to know you got that problem solved with the camera.Always lovely to see a video pop up of yours and you look very well.How are the girls and boy coping in this heat! A few years ago it got so hot l had to stable my horses through the day and they would go back out at night.This went on for almost seven weeks and turned out to be expensive as l needed three stables as l had one big lrish hunter for me and one Welsh section A pony for showing and the other two pony's were just pets really.So yes that cost a bit to stable them.The water had to be taken up to the field by tractor but it would evaporate within a matter of hours as there was no trees for shelter,so this was a job that was done on a daily basis.lm rabbiting on Dave 😆 l see Jim from working horses with Jim has a new stallion and has had one mating with Lady his only draft horse mare...you probably know as l belive you follow him.He is having a bit of a hard time cutting hay as it's got far to thick and very long.Wishing you all the very best Dave Joyce 🌱🌱🌱💕
Hello Joyce! I took off last week for the 4th of July and am back now. I’ll be doing many things which will all be coming up in the next few weeks. One of the things is trenching water and electric to the barn so I can get fans blowing on them to help with this heat. I have been reluctant to take them over bc it’s just hot and no breeze inside so have just been leaving in pasture all day. Soon they will be able to come over daily and I’ll be able to do it solo, it’s at least a 2 person job to move them all over by yourself as they are in no fencing once I open the gate. My sister has just sold her house and is moving about 15 min away and she had said that she will come twice a week to help with them. Will be nice to have her around more. I enjoy no longer having to pay for boarding, I realize you having to pay for 3 was hard on the pocket book. It’s so nice being out there and thank goodness no drug smells around, just the sounds of the birds and insects. There is traffic noise but they are building a bypass soon which should redirect the trucks that pass out front. It’s just therapeutic out there. Jim’s new stallion is a fine specimen isn’t he? Very nice! I’d like to see him get lady vet checked to verify if she took or not rather than just guess but that’s how he chooses to do it. Lots of rain today, I think it will be here most of day, and then strong possibilities for next week plus. We need it, just makes it more humid. I’m ready for fall!!!! The girls have been here 1 year coming up this week so I’ll be showing them in next weeks video! Have a beautiful weekend and as always thank you!!

I have no knowledge of straight talk, when I was saying EIOTClub was the best thing going, it’s bc it is about $8 month. You want a SIM card that’s data only, if you get one that has text and talk it cost about $19 month minimum and it’s a waste to pay for that when you don’t need it. Hope that helps. Thx for watching!
You are telling a disinformation, I have same camera, and picking the movement and recording it, it's not related to network. Because it records to SD card, so you can leave a camera without a SIM card and later add it, and you will see what was recorded.
That’s true if you have a need for an SD card. Everything is recorded on Reolink site so I have no need for a SIM card in my application. So therefore I’m not “telling a disinformation” but I appreciate you pointing it out. Thx for watching!

If you have no SIM card installed then you get no real time info as to who or what is on your property, you may as well go with a game camera if your just looking at it later. The whole point of a SIM card installed is real time data

Sim cards have to be activated or you could steal one and use it. Just like pre-paid cash cards

Yes the SIM card goes into the camera and then you download the app on your phone to monitor

i bought a verizon prepaid sd card and im having trouble getting it going. aready activated it. do you need to wait some time?

Your not going through Verizon, your using reolink SIM card that uses the Verizon towers. Your paying reolink for SIM card time not Verizon
