Keeping an empty frame is important for keeping the cops from nagging us. Even if you're going under the 20mph Class-2 speeds, riding something with a full frame, police might mistake it for a motorcycle- frankly I don't want to try to explain the legalities (especially if the bike is going 20+), so IMO the emptier the frame, the better
Nice quick unboxing/building and ride review Kase. I dig this. E-Bikes are a hot ticket more and more. If you live in a city/suburban area that you don't have to commute great distances in, it will be ideal. (unless it gets stolen) I used to love biking in cities because it bypasses the traffic issue. However, that only works if you were healthy when it came to the uphill portions of the trip. Which E-Bikes are really appreciated for.
I got an S1 for 1700 back in day. Its got 3k+ miles on it, and 2 batteries, moved cross country, camping trips with it, group rides. It's been a blast but in 2022 I'm not sure I would recommend a S73 over other bikes
It's neat but, for the price you could get a Kymco K-pipe which just seems like it could be more useful. I am not sure how insurance works on E-bikes, but full coverage and theft insurance is also really cheap on something like a K-pipe too.
Love my super 73! And to all those complaining about the price or not good enough for the price tag. Probably haven’t even rode one. It’s a joy to have and commute in.
You'd think they'd do a bit of research into Super 73 before putting out a video - there's 4 different models (ZG, ZX, S2 and RX) the one reviewed being the 2nd most expensive (S2), the most expensive model is the RX which has the same motor and power as the S2 but it has rear suspension and looks more like a motor cross bike. I wouldn't advise going on and off sidewalks with this or even the RX as they're too heavy to take the impact and the standard tyres they come with have a reputation for being terrible, I've slid and fallen on my S2 many times if you ride it like the guy in the video you will fall off it and its pretty dangerous at 30mph - don't get me wrong you can safely do 30mph on straight dry roads but if you go around corners or on and off sidewalks at any speed and especially in wet conditions you're hitting the deck, you need to upgrade to the GRZLY Tyres which will prevent this. The company as a whole has a pretty terrible reputation for customer service but that's more so in Europe, the US seems slightly better. Overall this is a really fun bike to own and for a fat tyre bike I think its the best looking as well
I would like to have one but where I live in New York State you can't have a throttle and the speed is limited to, I think, less than 20 miles an hour on a e-bike. Plus many of the roads have no shoulders and the ones that do are in bad shape.
Honestly, getting up to those speeds, you might want some kind of a motorcycle helmet. Definitely cool though, I have considered one for here in boulder as well.
Great video! Loving the Super73. May I ask you how is your audio so clean? I'm having so much trouble positioning my lavalier microphone inside a helmet, it always sounds blown out.
If it's going to only have one suspension make it in the back of the bike! My hands don't need a soft ride! I hate when my spine shoots out the top on my neck when I hit a bump.
For as much as one of these costs, id rather invest in another motorcycle. Dont get me wrong, its a great bike and is plenty quick and stylish, just not worth the money in my opinion
I want YOUR job Kase!! 😂😂 just the e-bike portion. The perspective of a 59 year old immature sped demon,,,, 😂. Please? Haha. I’m only part serious,,,, I’m in Canada and the work VISA stuff etc,,,,,. That and I’m retired,,,,. Hahaha. I live near enough to a city where they apparently have some great bike trails, but for me, I prefer using the e-bikes and a couple of e-“trikes”. Fat tire recumbent reverse trikes with the two wheels up front. They are ergonomic seats and really comfortable with a shock and coil spring on the rear. Because you are overtop of this point in the suspension, they ride surprisingly well. They are a cheaper model called the Sunseeker Fat Tad that we had a 750 watt hub installed on the rear. They have decent range and with my messed up back, they are comfy! Take getting used to, but worth it. The best trails we have there are gravel roads. I like the bikes, but LOVE the trikes!! They don’t always fit well on the trails though. I have used some long enough that there is a triple track showing up and that has smoothed out a bit. Might be interesting to see what you guys think of a trike like that!! They are fun in the hills and on the rocky trails in an area called the Crowsnest Pass here in Alberta going into British Columbia. They even work somewhat on the quad trails. Regardless. These are definitely a worthwhile replacement on “cruising” trails over a motorcycle, even in the mountains. An expensive option is to have a second battery, just in case. E-bikes/trikes are heavy and hard to ride without any assist,,,,. They can be much more nimble than a motorcycle and many trails I have ridden on just are such that 25 mph is the maximum speed you can safely travel at anyway. Certainly a second option at least!! Many of these seem to come from Alibaba and websites like that so a bulk order will save you up to 66% if you can get 4 other friends, or so, and order them together as one shipment!! $3900 or $1300,,,,, hmmmm. I paid thee big number (almost) so I’m not smart enough to do a bulk order. I wasn’t sure my family and friends would like the trikes, but they do!! Catch you fellas later!! Thanks Kase and TFL!!
Don't like it. The concept is fantastic but I dislike the design. The huge hole in the middle looks terrible, could easily add some more range with a battery or utility with storage. And a thumb throttle?! $3k? You can buy a motorcycle for that much. Or even just a very much more capable moped. This thing seems like it doesn't know what exact direction it's going for. It is definitely a moped given it's speed capabilities and peddles. But I'm pretty sure it wants the "bicycle" label to get around all the regulation.
DO YOU KNOW THAT YOU CAN BUY A BETTER SUPER 73 IN ALIBABA FROM CHINA? FOR THE PRICE OF $621.00 JUST LIKE YOURS, BUT A BETTER FUTURES..THAT MEANS YOUR $3,000 YOU CAN GET A 5 EBIKES (SUPER 73 S1 $ S2) A NEW VERSION TYPE YR. 2023.
My friend uses this to commute 12 miles each way to work and she really likes it. It really does slide between bike and motorcycle for use case.
Nice bike, but I think the hole in the center could be used for storage case.
"Kase"
There’s a company that makes storage baskets for the middle
Yeah but there r some accessories you can buy for the center

What other bikes?
He probably means other bikes that you can actually pedal and don’t weigh a ton.
@@nathanc777 onyx, ariel riders. ect.
Thank you Kase. Definitely look forward to a lot more of these reviews when it comes to the E bikes.

Or a Navi or a used Grom. So many better choices than multi thousand dollar e bikes.
you can bet your life that on every Super 73 review there will always be the comment that bike xyz is so much better and doesn’t cost as much.
At those speeds, you really need a full suspension setup.
No you don't.
Really interesting bike. My back couldn't stand the lack of suspension but for young people this might be a neat commuting option
They do offer models with rear suspension, bit obviously more $$$
I’m a 45 year old Iraq vet, with a horrible back and I have this same bike but in black and surprisingly it’s not hard on my back at all.
Love my super 73! And to all those complaining about the price or not good enough for the price tag. Probably haven’t even rode one. It’s a joy to have and commute in.
Does it have regen?
I love my ebike, I ride the shit outta it. Rain, sleet & snow.. my commute is 6mi round trip on a Bezior xf001 dual 52v 1000w
I just got the super73 R and I'm jumping curbs and taking speed bumps like I'm in a hurry. I can't wait for it to charge again.

Going to get grief on cycle paths going that speed. Here in UK we are allowed up to 15mph assist.
Do those bikes have the ability to tow a small trailer? I'm thinking it would be great for around the farm and town. It is a bit pricey though.
Yeah man I've seem people tow with them on flat. I regularly ride 2up (I'm 220lbs) with my wife

Move out - those sorts of rules are a side effect of Marxist governance
Kase, when you report speeds it would be good to verify with GPS.
I was hoping someone would say that. Those things are almost never calibrated. A 750w motor isn't capable of 31. Especially with a 48v battery.
This bike goes 31mph its been verified if you look it up, downhill I've hit 36mph on mine.
Brand new bike with 156 miles on it already?
Just bought the RX Mojave the other day. Looking forward to getting it
It's a really beautiful e bike,love the color,especially look of the bike with that motorcycle vibe...AWESOMENESS ! ! !

This comment is gold.
Got the same color! It’s a gorgeous bike 😍
What is the exact name of this bike super73….? Or put a link
Hey I’ve liked it since it first appeared. Looked at others but probably will place my order on the green.
How’s customer support ?
Great video man!
How is it pedaling? I’m looking to buy this bike for exercise since I prefer using the throttle & pedals.
Awesome such a cool bike, next review I want to see is a sur ron or Talaria.
HAVE A BEAUTIFUL DAY EVERYONE...HAPPY WEDNESDAY ✌️
Should try ariel grizzly.. has rear suspension.
Do a review on the Volcon Brat.
Hopefully you will take this to prudhoe bay, alaska😇.
I kinda figured you were in Boulder by the look of the mountains 😂
Would this guy be able to restore my mini bike I’ve got or at least help me get it running good
Kasey .. take us on a POV of one of the bikes for a video .. or racing ... 🙏🙏🙏
I've been thinking about buying this. How tall are you? I'm over 6ft and worry about comfortability.
Great video! Loving the Super73. May I ask you how is your audio so clean? I'm having so much trouble positioning my lavalier microphone inside a helmet, it always sounds blown out.
what s73 is this?
Can u wheelie it?
I was thinking about one of these for boulder
Maybe yall could review the RX or a back to back? 😬
The color is nice 👍
Anybody interested in this should checkout the Ariel Rider Xclass. Better performance for less money. Runs about $2300
If it's going to only have one suspension make it in the back of the bike! My hands don't need a soft ride! I hate when my spine shoots out the top on my neck when I hit a bump.
👏👏👏 CONGRATULATIONS ON BECOMING MANAGING EDITOR OF TFL BIKE 👏👏👏
Cool bike!
Nice!! Casey Neistat also has cool review of this bike!!
I'd REALLY like a bicycle like this, but for now the high prices put me off buying
🚲
Get second hand
For as much as one of these costs, id rather invest in another motorcycle. Dont get me wrong, its a great bike and is plenty quick and stylish, just not worth the money in my opinion
I did my research on it and in my opinion no I put a couple 1000 more and bought a Talaris

Fake-Unboxing ? 156 miles on it 😂
And it never comes with the batterie on it , just to say . (Asking for a friend ) 😉✌️
Same thing I was thinking 😂
That looks so FN fun.
I honestly think the euybike s4 is better. Even without the money factor

Kase was riding that box like he rides his girls !
For a few dollars more... Ariel Grizzly.
Nice bicycle
It has glitches with the throttle, and just wait for a rain day. 😂👍
Never had a "glitch" problem with my throttle owned it for 11 months, used in soaking wet conditions and done 30 miles no problem.
@@ThatEssentialAttire ok 🥱
this bike is way overrated and overpriced compared to what's out there...only thing S73 has going for them is their looks thats about it
no its not. youre paying for a brand name. those bikes cost less than $800 to make plus $300 to ship them to usa lol
This or a Volcon brat?
One thing's for sure you cannot ride that on the bike path
huh? 3k that shit is selling for 600 🤣
Get a revv1, s73 suck and have no torque and are over priced.
No it's not worth 3,000.
Over hyped and underpowered lol
Nope
