This is sweet. I had plans to put a turbo on top of the trans also. Nice to see someone actually did it. Haven’t really seen this in the cobalt community.
So i noticed you had said 'saab bottom end' and idk how thats possible when no one has been able to go over 320bhp before destroying pistons. The lnf, lsj, and b207r arent 100% the same. Saab got silicone cast metal pistons which are light but very weak. Sorry for the bit of negativity but thats the only thing i had to point out was about the bottom end
Cody Dillenbeck I’m not sure what to tell you there. It is I’m fact a b207r bottom end. I’ve never once heard that the pistons are different. And looking at them both apart personally I see no apparent different (LSJ/b207) the LSJ also utilized a cast piston. I’d suspect that your lack of tuning options in the Saab world may play a part.
@@categoryvportworx7548 no lack of tuning options. Even the most reputable tuners for saab Nordic tuning, Maptun, and BSR have all reached the limits and state the same.
If you don’t mind I’m on the forums on Facebook I would like to pick his brain on a couple things because I am in the process of the same build practically and since his is done I could use some info lol name is Alex DeMasi if he could direct message me would be great thank you

How much is this gonna cost me to do myself?
I can’t wait to see more footage
Looks nice. Isn't the supply of cheap saab b207 engines great?
What tuning platform is that running?
Awesome Video 🤙
Who do I contact for that turbo manifold

@@categoryvportworx7548 thanks man!
What is his current clutch/trans setup?
manbowv8 currently it’s a LNF 3.82FD
And I believe a clutch masters single.
I think a twin disc would greatly help
Ready to go turbo swap

Again, I have no interest in lying to anyone. I saw this engine come from the junkyard and it came from a 2004ish body style 9-3T
@@categoryvportworx7548 i guess you're the first to hit this high on a stock internal b207r
Actually, in the cobalt community, it’s been done a few times. Who knows
