Hummm let’s do some math my Harley Davidson Heritage equipped with steel laced wheels and tubed tires and steel front fender all unsprung weight is probably 100 lbs, doesn’t like turning or changing lines very fast, now i understand why, its all in the wheels, lighter the better for handling even if it’s a heavy bike to start with. 700 lbs dry and i’m 66 years young, would love to ride a modern sport bike, what do all you young dudes think, keep the Harley to haul the wife and get a Ducati for kicks, huh tell me!
Imagine if Ducati could get Jonathan Rea to race their Panigale in WSBK 2023!!! Of course it is likely that within 3 years, rules would change to sidestep this dominant situation. Not that Bautista is not good- the man is an animal! But Rea won 4 or 5 years in a row, till rule makers decided to reduce maximum engine RPM, reducing much of Kawasaki’s advantage.
Rea won those titles because kawasaki put all there money in wsbk and not moto gp...
J. Rea and kawasaki dominance is finished even without Ducati and Bautista . Toprak Razgatlioglu is a more talented racer than either of them . He won the world championship riding the inferior Yamaha . I seriously feel that J. Rea will never be able to take the title back .
Hopefully I sell my Pnigale V4S 20’ soon and then I’m going in Italy to order my new V4R with those beautiful akra pipes can’t wait ❤❤❤

2023 PANIGALE R are sold out. I ordered a 2024 R Price increase $4,9000. ETA November 2023 Limited to about 260 units..

My dealer said the 2023 sold out in 2 weeks. I would prefer fist delivery of the next model year, like getting a a year without deprecation. Purchased my 2021 Street Fighter November 2020. FIRST Dark Stealth S.F. in N.C.

@@fqeagles21 I appreciate your enthusiasm but your comment has no grounds. I was a Ducatista for at least 3 years but my fleet now consists of a ZX14R, ZX10RR and an H2 with full Brock’s Stage II, dynoed @ 284hp. I still have huge respect for the Panigale but if you ever ride an H2R, you will understand what 300+ hp in first through third gear feels like and with ridiculous torque along with it. Recalibrating your wrist to ensure you don’t end up in a ditch with H2R (or H2 Brock’s) power is far more difficult than you imagine. Rock On Brother!

The comparison is invalid….. y r u comparing a bike made to achieve the fastest speed to a bike made to achieve the fastest time on the track? They r totally different concepts.
The entire motto of Ducati is to win races whereas Kawasaki wants to produce the fastest bike on the planet
