@@BinBin-hy4ec Kade Engine, by KadeDev, one of the very first FNF modding engines. Whitty, vs Tricky, The Trollge Files, and vs Sonic.exe 1.0/2.0 were on Kade. I could tell that this was on Kade because of the KE at the bottom left of the screen. Now more modern engines like Psych and Forever Engine outclass Kade because of how buggy Kade was and how mod friendly Psych is. I don’t really know much about Forever Engine, but I heard it’s pretty good.
The slowing down would actually mess with me so much, id rather have a sign pop up at the bottom of the screen with "x = hurt" when its not currently my turn
Genuinely love so much of it. The slow-down happening before a huge drop in the song makes it feel like a cutscene and helps the slow-down feel more natural with the music. The hurt notes shaking a little bit when they change color, the timing of the sound effects and speed changes - genuinely wish this got popular two years ago, cause who knows how many mods would’ve put their spin on this by now? Amazing concept, glad you’re getting recognition!
I think the biggest problem when it comes to special notes is most mods don’t say what they do. So my idea GF would just pull up a sign while the time is slowing down and when the notes change GF has already pulled out a sign that says something like “These bad” with an arrow pointing at a bad note
The expected time for a video to be blessed by the youtube algorithm is 8-15 years, you're lucky this video was chosen in only 2 years, aside from that, this is actually the best way to introduce it, the only thing you need to do is maybe adding a unique animation and sound for hitting these notes and make them darker.
I think the release date thing has happened to a few more videos other than this one for a few smaller creators. But oh my goodness... LOVE THIS CONCEPT!!!

I think hurt notes should have a very distinct look, rather than a slightly altered red look, but the animation work on this is seamless and would fit really well!

You should make a forced hurt note so the player knows it hurts you (if they had Red-green colorblindness make the notes significantly darker).
yeah i have red green colorblindness and i cant really distinguish it too well

even for non-colorblind people, it is still difficult to figure out it is a hurt note on the fly.
