Experimenting In Weaving | vlogging and weaving and bread making oh my

Just starting the tabby (plainweave) section of my experimental project. It's so funny going back to the basics: this project is exactly what I did for my very first weaving. But it's so good sometimes to just be creative without trying too hard, ya know?

Can you not just cut out the two extra threads and just pull them out or would that make a gap at that spot?

That would put a gap in my pattern, because I have it threaded through the heddles first in a 1234 pattern, so if I cut out 34 the pattern would look like 121234. Which would fix the reed but create an even bigger problem. I could take out a whole block of the heddles but then I would have a gap in the reed. It's the unwinable conundrum.
