I love watching two grown chaps my age, well close I'm nearly 42 reliving these games. We were born at the perfect time to sample all these fabulous games at the dawn of the industry. I kind of feel sorry for the younger kids nowadays because gaming just is not the same. Great video!
True but I'm happy I was born in 88', I got to experience N64/PS1 with the option of playing the older games/systems. Just didn't know where to get a SNES in the 90s cause eBay wasn't a thing I don't think. Plus I had no money anyway lol. But yeah, I wouldn't want to have been born recently, my backlog would be even worse than it is now!!!

Your reaction playing Streetfighter 2 was a picture. It reminded me of when I played against my best mate, we were usually mild mannered upbeat kind of people. This game however could bring out the beast in both of us, resulting in long moments of silence & sulking. Culminating in many an angry outburst. What a game, highly deserving of a place in the top 10.

A lot of excellent games. Well picked, RobMan! ;) I find it amusing that the top is full of number 2’s of game series. It’s cool to think about how well a lot of games did with their first sequels.
I'm really curious about the falling out you and rob had. You mentioned once in the Mario memories episode on the mario sunshine part and rob just mentioned it on his silent hill 2 pick. Great list by the way!

Here from ACG's Rage 2 review, liking this, you two look like badass nerds haha, love it! I grew up on Ps1 games like Spyro, Crash, Medievil, Rayman and many other things. Warcraft 3 is also crucial for me. God Of War and other Ps2 classics followed later. Nowadays I enjoy a lot of genres and I hold Bloodborne as one of the best games of all time imo.
