Hairbands to tie in a bow around a little girl's head with little pom poms on the end Drawstrings. LOL I had the wooden spool with nails on top. We played with them at recess. Variegated crochet thread seemed magical.
You can make huge "yarn" with it and knit extra-chunky scarves or anything with it. I made a scarf with it before - it's called "i-cord." Thanks for the content. Keep up the good work. בס'ד
@@koalaknitsandknacksaddicrochet You may be able to knit i-cord on your Addi I found a few videos on how to do it: th-cam.com/video/Gt4qW0-gC6s/w-d-xo.html

Best tutorial I've seen especially on how to cast off thank you ❤❤❤❤❤ update my wee machine has arrived soon got to grips with it ...it's a shame it's clunky plastic as it's rather noisy as it's rotated if I was with a partner he'd probably throw it out the door and stamp on it thankfully he left me so it doesn't matter 😂😂😂😂 tbh I prefer the clear acrylic prym version as it's a nicer experience and it's totally silent.
@@Silverdale15 I just posted a video today and I use the clover wonder knitter in it. I will check out the one you suggested Hmmm,🤔 Do I need another one??
Thank you! The instructions that came with the Wonder Knitter were awful, and the video they had on their website wasn't good either. You did an excellent job of shiwing and explaining how to use it.
@@dresdenclineinkpot7443 I don’t get any curling. I’m not sure what you mean. If you’re making a really long cord it might twist because you keep rotating the top to make the stitches. Just use your fingers and unwind the cord the opposite way or hold it up and let it naturally unwind.

You may be able to knit i-cord on your Addi
I found a few videos on how to do it:

I bought the Addi egg. But yes, you can do it on any machine as well.

I will use this to make handles for my crochet bags!😊
Have fun! 😊
You could use the larger cord as legs for dolls or even gnomes !! Cool little gadget 😀 thank you for sharing
I think you could be creative and use it for sure. 😊
Ah, I was wondering how much this was like spool knitting. Answer provided. :)

Hi Shelley, it’s Lynn, I remember those wooden spools , lol
We managed to make some pretty long cords on those little things. 🥰
Could you demonstrate the yellow device as well, I assume it produces thicker cords, thanks.

You can use the cords for handles on knitted purses or bags

How do you keep the cord from curling when using this? Every time I try to use a regular spool knitter, it curls on me.
