  • After watching ImageLine's video on "Trance Tools for FL Studio," I wanted to make a similar video explaining how to make uplifting (138 BPM) Trance using stock FL plugins.

    DUDE! Thank you for this tutorial so much. It has filled a huge gap in my lack of knowledge in creating a more professional and balanced sound.

    What a great tutorial, it’s a gold mine! Thank you very much for giving all this workflow for free and for your work 🤩 Not 100% beginner oriented, but I already have the basics, so it’s all good for me. I was hesitating to buy your complete course, but now I’m convinced! Thanks again, and keep up the good work 😃

    Nice one, MYR. I have a question: I'd like to ask if you could perhaps make a tutorial series on how to make uplifting trance from start to finish/blank project to finished track for beginners because there's isn't quite a lot on TH-cam and don't want to spend so much money buying courses that I can't afford. I really enjoyed your Uplifting Trance sound design tutorial series. Learned a lot from there.

      Hi MYR
      I would also love to see a detailed tutorial for Uplifting trance. I own Abelton Live, but if you like to do it in another DAW, just go on.

      @@djmyr Also, would be nicer if you can do it with stock and free plugins (VSTI instruments like Vital) to give us a direction on how to make a song in FL Studio.

    Thank you for this very good, understandable presentation. One little note:
    I know, that the project and the moves of the mouse is ready on your mind, but those who see this video for the first time, your acts and clicks are a little bit fast.
    Especially a foreigner may have to rewind the video several times, but it still a big help and a valuable intellectual work :)
    A beginner from Hungary :)

    Thanks so much for all your helpful videos! I've downloaded the folder from the link in your description to follow along with this project but there doesn't seem to be a folder for the Synths to drag across into the channel rack so I've just been trying to use other plugins meantime which doesn't sound as good. Is there an updated link for these files to copy into this template? Thanks again, your demonstrations are the easiest ones to follow that i have found as they also explain why you are doing various things.

    Bit late to the party. I’m looking at getting FL Studio coming from GarageBand haha. Does FL come with generic samples or do I need to find all TH-camrs sample packs from there tutorials too? It’s a bit confusing when FL can be bought on its own or with FL plug-ins only or you get the All Plug-ins Bundle which have VST’s. Loving the sound effects and automation you can’t really do in GarageBand. Good track though. Bit upbeat for me lol

    • @djmyr
      @djmyr  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      All of the samples I use here come with FL Studio - FL does come with some stock sounds, but I think the ones that come with GarageBand/Logic are better (in that they cover a wider range). With that being said, you can always subscribe to Splice or the new FL Cloud which I think is awesome and better than anything bundled with any DAW.
      If there’s a specific genre you want to produce, I recommend purchasing one or two high quality sample packs for it. If you want to do Trance like me, the Dave Parkinson packs (from FrsshlySqueezedSamples) or ReOrder’s Sample Packs are my favorite :)

    MYR, first of all what a really good tutorial this is. Deffo will help me to produce a trance track. I do have a couple of questions if you could help me out with. 1. Did you ever finish this track and release it, as i would like it. 2. What sample pack is the midi from?

    • @djmyr
      @djmyr  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hwy Rossi, I released this track as Starfall on Manny's Extrema label. I created the MIDI myself by playing around on the keyboard www.beatport.com/track/starfall/16519643

    hey im trying to decide on a midi keyboard man idk what to get like the novation... any tips?

    • @djmyr
      @djmyr  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The Oxygen49 is very good, I like the keybed, and it isn’t too expensive. The new Komplete Kontrol from NI have a great keybed but it’s really only worth it if you use a lot of stuff from NI.
      I have one of the lower end Novation keyboards and I wasn’t the biggest fan, but I know their upper end models are solid.
