Finally some competition in this space. One vendor has ruled for years, and now we have a new entrant which is nice. The price is way more friendly too. Thanks for the review.
I've been checking out different mattresses for our MY for the past 2 years. Was always hesitant until seeing this one. Just purchased through your affiliate link. Thank you for taking the time to review! I picked up the air pump as well, since it made sense to have both. I will do a video to show both once we use it.
I think you'll really like it. I can't wait to give it a real try in the car. It was setup in my house for many days during my testing and it is very comfortable to lay on. I couldn't get the cat off of it.
Hi - Thanks for the review. I was wondering if you have any thoughts on how this product compares to the Travel Sleeper. On the surface, this product is considerably cheap than the Travel Sleeper, but if you purchase the optional pump, the difference in price is only $15. So then it comes down to which product provides a better night's sleep. Any thoughts? Also, does this droop in the front in the unsupported gap?
Unfortunately, I don't have any experience with the Travel Sleeper. From what I can see, it is a similar product. I was able to adapt a pump that I already had to fit by using some tape. It works. If that is the case of you, you might not need to buy the pump. As for the unsupported gap, it does droop a bit. Not as much as an inflatable mattress. I do have a piece of 1/4" plastic that I slid under the mattress to provide that extra support between the head rests of the back seat. I hope this helps.
From a cost perspective, it’s not much more than a one night stay in a hotel. That’s how my wife and I rationalized the purchase of window shades. If you have a newer model Y with the back cover to hide your belongings in the hatch area, use that to cover the gap behind the front seats.

Appreciate all your videos! What type/thickness of full-size mattress topper did you add to this and did it make a significant improvement?
Could you please let me know which brand and size of mattress protector you are using? It looks like a perfect fit.
It's Lost Horizon. There is a link in the description.

What pump did you use and do you have a link to it? I heard the mattress uses a non-standard valve size
Have hunter for this🙏
If I put the seats up to get more room, do i need a bed extender for this model? So the head of the mattress doesn’t sink
You just need something thin and hard. You could probably get by without it.
@@iowatesla Yup. I saw other Tesla owners use the cargo cover the recent model y’a come with.
It fits a Model S 2020 also? 😍
It does not. Model Y only. Sorry.
They make a Tesla S one if this doesn't fit and it's only $199 online at Amazon
You didn’t explain how it inflates by itself
It’s literally foam. 😅
