Hi everyone! By request, here is my new video about the top 10 traditional Colombian dishes that you must try when you come to this beautiful country! It was impossible to put them in perfect order, so please let me know your top 10 in the comments below. I'm pretty sure my number 1 was right though, wouldn't you agree! If you have any requests for future Colombia-related videos, drop me a comment below, I'd appreciate your suggestions 😀
As Colombian born citizen, this vid makes me feel pretty proud and a kind of emotional, cuz out here in Northern US, you don t get lots of Colombian restaurants, something very homesick.
Hi. Thank you so much for watching the video, I really hope you enjoyed it! I completely understand how you feel when you miss the comforts from your home country like the food, the culture, the beautiful landscapes etc. It's great to hear that you're proud of your country, culture, and food. Colombia is an incredibly special place! I hope you will be able to take a trip home someday soon and satisfy those Colombian food cravings haha
Hi Ben, Thanks for sharing i love the video, the food looks tasty, 😊😋, there are a lot of good Colombian dishes, i would like to try some, which one do you recomend?? ☺️🤭🤔, i would like to see more videos like this of dishes from other country 😋😋
Well, as you know I'm vegetarian so this was an... interesting... video to make hahaha. But I've tried veggie versions of some of these dishes which were really tasty, including a vegan picada which was in one of my previous videos about a restaurant here in Medellin called Vegarden. They make amazing vegan/vegetarian versions of these dishes! If you ever come to Colombia, let me know and I'll recommend you some of my favorite restaurants. Thanks again for watching Elizabeth!
GUACAMOLE, though delicious, IS NOT COLOMBIAN. We use ají. Guacamole and salsa may be offered in Colombia now bc of Mexicans that have moved here AND due to tourists’ expectations bc they’re used to Mexican cuisine.
Thank you so much for the kind comment 😀 My Spanish isn’t perfect and I worry about my pronunciation haha I’m glad I didn’t slaughter the names of those foods 😂
@@AbroadWithBen Ben, I d be more than happy if you brought out a vid about Cali's gastronomy, in honor of the city where I was born. I hope you go there someday , long time I don't visit it 😢😢😢
Hi. I really appreciate the suggestion! I still haven't been to Cali but it's been on my list of places I want to visit for a very long time! Perhaps next year I'll be able to visit, and I'll definitely check out the gastronomy scene as well as the city's attractions. It's great when viewers give me these kinds of recommendations because it helps me discover new things and places that I might not have gotten to discover, so thank you!

He never stated that the guacamole originated from Colombia he was just saying that it is a common topping. Btw I’m also Colombian😅
Great foods, thanks for the good pronunciation.
