One particular stretch of hwy270, the loop around St. Louis, they accomplished more work in three years than those between 1973 and today!!
Now that I’m getting used to it I really like the changes.

Exactly. Years ago Silicon Valley startups began with the cumbersome word "DISINTERMEDIATION" -- to remove all middle-level management or go-between processes. In essence, disintermediation was "companies taking a key category of US or citizen commerce, and in one fell swoop, bust out the multi-layered standard hierarchical models we've used for hundreds of years", and design new direct-access methods that removed the tons of inefficiency in 20th century standard processes that used too-many-layered hierarchies just to get a simple task accomplished.
The word "disintermediation" fell out of vogue in the mid-to-late 2000's, replaced by the more accessible term "disrupt". Old business models would be disrupted by employing superb User Experiences to users, streamlining old formulas of useless middle managers. (There was probably a much earlier term invented/used during the Industrial Revolution in U.S. and world.)

Keep him close, give him a way to build connections, and let him do exactly what he's doing now, build a name and reputation before they can muddy the waters ahead of him.

Rep Katie Porter proposed a bill "Flightmare Act". "This bill requires the Federal Aviation Administration to establish minimum requirements for aviation enterprise resource planning systems that are used by domestic air carriers and necessary for passenger safety. These technology systems and software are used by air carriers for operational management, including for crew planning and communication, building flight schedules, and making changes to flight paths". Porter said that nobody should be stuck in airports for days. They have to give you alternatives which means even booking you for other airlines. Giving customers more flexibility.
