One situation that you can learn a lot about what kind of president someone would be is how they did when they were the actual president. I really don't understand why Pete Buttgieg is not being put forth by the Democrat Party for president. The guy is brilliant, well spoken, funny and relatable. The only down side is that unfortunately many voters wouldn't be able to handle the fact that he is gay. But that shouldn't matter. Because he is such a great speaker and is incredibly intelligent. He'd absolutely eat Trump alive.

I wish Pete Buttigieg was running for president! I think our presidential nomination system is archaic, in that we continue to nominate the current president whether he/she is competent or not. There are several other excellent candidates for this office, who also refuse to campaign for the nomination out of respect for Biden.
I think Biden has done a lot for this country in his term so far, and I'm glad he got his chance at the presidency after all these decades. But I don't believe he is capable enough on his own to be president again. He would have good advisors, but he needs to be the leader in decision-making, and to be the leader of the free world, and I think it's just too late for him.
Personally, I would like to see an articulate, well informed statesman/woman with a solid grasp of both domestic and foreign policy, respected by the majority of Democrats, who can represent America.
We have other very solid candidates who could step into the nomination slot with barely a ripple.

Now the classified documents case has been deemed invalid because presumably Jack Smith's appointment as special prosecutor was some technical legal issue that was unconstitutional. This is how justice is these days, hokey. No way should Trump get away with this.
I'll keep posting the following or some version of it on other channels and forums. I think people don't know the seriousness of the classified documents indictment against Trump. IF, this case is ever brought to trial it is 100% certain that Trump would be found guilty on all 40 felony charges. It is an indefensible case. Interestingly he committed these alleged crimes when he was no longer a president and had no association with government.
If there’s anyone who needs to be in prison it is Trump. He is absolutely guilty of the 40 felony charges in the classified documents indictment. If you want your mind boggled read the superseded indictment on classified documents. Trump committed blatant, appalling and shocking behavior in his possession and total disregard of highly classified documents. Top Secret documents are kept in high security SCIF locations not on a desktop, in unlocked drawers or on the floor and elsewhere like the FBI found at Trump’s residence/social club.
The indictment is easy, interesting reading esp. after page 8, complete timeline text with photos, Trump quotes and a summary table of the numerous classified documents found and of course the numerous felony charges on specific illegal actions. It is a bit long but very good presentation of the facts. I used to have Secret security clearance on two of my former jobs so I know how to handle classified documents, Trump did not and did not care. Watch some weasel bring up the Biden classified docs without mentioning Pence in the same circumstance. In those cases the docs were quickly returned, follow up investigations cleared them, unlike Trump who repeatedly refused to return them so a subpoena had to be obtained by the FBI. Trump attempted to hide some of them from his own lawyers and later the FBI after conspiring with his aide, this after more than 300 docs had been seized. Trump later conspired and tried to have security tapes erased that the FBI wanted. So still more charges for conspiracy and obstruction, very clear cut.
People need to wake up, Trump committed blatant traitorous actions that were clearly felonies. The laws he broke are all indicated as the text transpires in the indictment with his specific actions and corresponding law broken. Everyone should read the ‘superseded Trump indictment on classified documents’, just search for it. Irrefutable facts, evidence, and testimonies make it SELF-EVIDENT that Trump is guilty and that is just what is in the indictment. Much more evidence will be presented if it ever goes to court. Cowardly ‘patriots’ won’t read it, too gutless to face the truth about Trump. ‘Real patriots’ will see Trump put his ego before national security. Absolutely unfit for office. He belongs in prison for what he did, guilty on all counts. Because the case is so air tight the judge and the right wingers are doing everything they can to avoid this case from going to trial. This includes hokey statements about evidence tampering, etc. without a shred of evidence, let alone proof. And now dismissal of the case on hazy constitutional grounds. Something seriously broken if Trump gets away with this.
Btw, 'witch hunt' is a phrase used by suspects to deflect suspicion and make themselves look like victims with the intent to denigrate the investigation. It means they are afraid of scrutiny. If they are innocent they should be welcoming an investigation.
