Absolutely....some might disagree, but I'd say top 5 SF form early to mid/late 80s when he got hurt. In my opinion if you replaced someone like Worthy with Kiki the Lakers wouldn't have missed a beat
@@Barnabus007 yep, Kiki was the better player IMO and Worthy is a bit overrated because of his finals MVP and being with the Lakers championship teams.
Stopped watching the two and a half minute video after about 20 seconds because kind of obvious that it's not going to be a career highlights video. Change the title
I was hoping for the "Kiki" (step-back jumper). Kiki invented that move. Now every shooter with good footwork uses it. It's Luka's go-to, among others.
Maybe, shorten your steps, so that you're instead on the side of the rim, and can lay it in. Getting caught under the basket is a much more common problem than one would think.
I was born in Seattle in 1973, where I grew up. Sonics and Blazers fan. Japanese-American. I got to see some of my favorite Mark Olberding highlights in this reel: When Mark Olberding gets scored on, dunked on, and especially when he is "victimized by a three point play," those are my favorite Mark Olberding highlights!
@@DatMuslimDad Bernard, because you remember Don MacLean? Some of my favorite highlights of Don MacLean: In 1998-99, Seattle at Portland, Portland won 130-90, and MacLean tried to foul Arvydas Sabonis, who powered through, hit the basket, and made a three point play. Then, in 1993-94, I see MacLean get victimized by a three point play: I don't even remember who it was to, but that it was MacLean being victimized by it, makes it a favorite MacLean highlight. Then, there was the time he got dunked on by Shawn Kemp. Then, I can tell you at least FIVE highlights, where Don MacLean got mad, pumped his fist, and yelled "Fall!!" Like Mark Olberding, those are the kinds of highlights I like, of people like MacLean and Olberding. (and Larry Bird, Dan Majerle, and Matt Harpring)
When he came to the Knicks, everyone expected him to be this player. With a back injury that was not getting better and the media hounding him from game one I knew it wasn't going to be good times.
As a Portland Native who watched him play at least 100 times in person, it was sad seeing him go from unstoppable offensive player with a lightning release and probably a quicker first step than anybody not named James Worthy, to a guy with a stiff back that couldn't get better, then seeing he didn't have the juice anymore. NY fans got cheated with Kiki, it was a far lesser version of him.
Here bc of Paul Pierce
You too, huh? Lol!
Me three!!
7 seasons at 20+PPG with 3 seasons above 25PPG and 1 season at 29.4 PPG. An overlooked scorer from the 80's.

Problem is the guy Kiki was guarding would outscore him.
@@Ryan2022 if he was a decent to potent offensive player, good chance. A weak offensive player, probably not.
@@Amick44 Kiki was a bad defender, and it never seemed to bother him in the least
47 on his Portland debut on 19-23 shooting from the floor
Prolific scorer, highly skilled.
A very rare outside jump shooter with a very high shooting percentage.

He was the most explosive, unexplosive player. Loved watching him play.
0:11, 1:24, AND 2:34!!!! These are James Worthy-esque drives, basically Jordan-like too! I didn't know Keek was a such a slasher in his prime
Here cus my ps5
Who else looked this guy up cause of 2k shades lol
I seen that when drafting luka
Dunks pretty effortlessly yet never dunks very hard
Here because somebody got his player comparison on 2k, never heard of him
😂 DEADASSS
Same and I actually do score like him it’s crazy

Yo I’m the first view this guy went to my high school
You must be wealthy! Pacific Pallisades!
Cooper Flagg plays exactly like him wtf😂
Can we say he was just as good as Bird?
Myteam brought me here
When I drive I always end up under the basket. My steps ain't right yet?

I must love basketball because I think fundamentals are the essence of the game. Thanks Kiki
This man, along with Alex English, were defensive stoppers.
Lmao

A few nice drives to the basket but a lot more bad defense is what I see in these highlights.

Yes and the same thing happened with Rolando Blackman.
