    How does such a good looking bike that you made become even better looking! The attention to detail too! That is some Interceptor!

      Thanks, man! I love them too! Now need to decide on the bars - keep ace or put the flat trackers back on.

    Those grips are very neat, much better looking than the older Oxford grips with the separate controller

      That’s why I got them, I hope they work fine and last too!

      @maxkumskoy They would work well with heated gloves. I got a pair from Amazon for around £40, whilst they're not really a motorcycle glove despite them saying so they are good and heat the back and fingers of each hand. Each glove has its own rechargeable battery pack. I tried them out on my scooter, and they kept my hands warm(not hot but warm)

      @@AliasMrHackenbacker That's not a bad idea! I've been riding with two pairs of gloves (simple fleece gloves + m/c gloves)

    This is one modification I could really use here in my part of Canada.
    These ones don’t look to bad, thanks for sharing.

      Hi Daryl! Is Canada decorated with snow already? I also think they look good, no controller is a plus for me, and they are cheaper. I hope the quality and durability won’t disappoint

    No snow in my area yet, we get very little in my area.
    The no ugly controller is a huge plus to me.
    I did see a comment where someone was having grips shutting off issues, hopefully this turns out to be easily resolved.

      I will have a look at this too, I didn’t notice it yet, but didn’t run the grips for long enough. I have voltage meter in my speedo so I can immediately see if that’s causing the issue

    Hey Max, saw you bought some wraps from Trip Machine. I ordered some Tabaco brown ones from them (India) and I am still waiting for them after 2 months and about 20 emails back and forth. I love the way they look and wanted to make the standard grips thicker with them as the standard grips are a little thin for me. I am resigned to the fact that I will not ever receive them. They do not even know where they are. I have since asked for a refund and are yet to receive that either. Bike looks great my friend. Ride Safe!!

      Hey Andreas! Sorry to hear that your order is lost. I bought mine from @UrbanRider and collected them from the shop. They look and feel nice, but I can't say that the application is ideal. the seam is quite visible in the end. There is another way to fix that (I also hated thin stock grips) - try getting fat biltwell grips. I think they are called renegate. They are awesome!

      @@thesundayrides Thanks Max I will take a look. They might be better also for me being in Cyprus with the high temperature. Got to say the heat was a question mark for the 3M tape on the Trip Machine wraps. Thanks again man!

    I have daytona heated grips on my interceptor, but they always shut off after a short time. My battery must be ok, since it always starts in an instant. I do not know what is causing it...

    • @h2xhypocriet
      @h2xhypocriet ปีที่แล้ว

      @maxkumskoy I think it is the battery protection. Sometimes it stops after 10s, sometimes a few minutes. I have the feeling as long as I make more than 2500rpm it stays on, but when shifting pr idling it switches off. Maybe it is an indication that ma battery needs replacement soon, but is is only two years old and regularly used...
