One of your best vids yet Adam. Attention to detail is meticulous, what a clever bloke. Good work on your part too, to just let him talk into detail without feeling the need to interrupt like many others do
I’ve been following this guy and Auto Bionics on Facebook. Do not underestimate how much stuff has gone into this. This guy has CAD CAMED stuff to do this and the quality is the best you will ever see. Truly impressive engineering. Re engineering a icon. Fantastic that you’ve been able to get this video and so comprehensive. Well done Adam. Watched the whole thing with a massive smile! 😊
Unfortunately, Steve’s old RSR500 Facebook page was hacked. Give his new page a follow fellas to keep up to date with the progress Follow the RSR500 on Steve’s new Facebook page facebook.com/rsr.sierra
This would be an amazing and expensive restomod to join the likes of Singer 911, Toleman 205 GTi and the WRX recreations. He could make fortunes out of it. That level of quality and attention to detail is seriously in demand . An amazing video as well Adam, laid back and informative .👍👍
Over the years I have met folk who talk a good game & have a project car that there’s huge plans for but all it ever transpires into is talk. This guy is on a whole level that only he operates on. What a genius
What a work of art - its great there are still people in this country that can produce cars at an original manufacturers level like this - much respect.
Hi Adam and Steve, Absolutely on another level as I could listen to Steve talk tech all day long his dedication to perfection is something else, its hours of standing and looking running things through your head when it comes to fabrication and Steve must have spent years planning his build OEM looking car it truly is amazing. Thank you for sharing another Sierra video, I think when Steve's car is done and if it was to go to auction we might have just found the first Million Pound Sierra.
wow I just spent 30 minutes glued to the screen. I build a Mk2 golf 20VT back in 2005 which I had a lot of help with but Jesus this is wizardry. fascinating.
Been following this build for a while on Facebook. Slightly frustrating how long everything takes but I wouldnt have it any other way because it is down to the total unwillingness to compromise on even the slightest detail. So the time it is taking is absolutely essential. It constantly blows my mind how good this car is going to be. Certainly Ford never put out a Sierra this well made.
Every person who enjoys car builds on TH-cam really needs to watch this video, definitely one of the sickest builds. Them lads done a good job on the XR4Ti, but i think this is going to be next level because it's still going to look stock from the outside..
At first I watched this thinking how could you do this to either car it’s sacrilege but as you listen to the details of the build you can only end up with respect for such an amazing project . Outstanding 👌
“Build Levels “ and then there is this , so far past the levels you cant even see the level any more .. reminds me of Chip Foose’s type of dedication to the craft .. (Absolutely Awesome) Brilliant Vid Adam 🤜💥🤛
So without a doubt Steve has a mega mind, mega workshop, mega attention to detail and mega money. He is a top level awesome fella with with what will be a top level one off car 😎👍🏻
Adam I love old ford's in the 80's when I was serving in the forces I had fantastic 1979 MK2 Escort 1600 Sport in a sort of redish orange colour, I had a big bore exhaust put on and 4,2,1 manifold and twin weber conversion, it really needed a fifth gear for motorway cruising, Great car but rotted with rust, then I had a 1st gen Escort Turbo the all white ones, Great car but alas rotted with rust, really like your Cosworths, there's an Escort Cosworth I see occasionally around my area, it's white with bad bit of rust bottom of tailgate, Great vids keep up the good work, all the best.👍👍👍👍👍👍
He's like Gordon Murray. Mind blowing project, I've been following since early on. Great video Adam, look forward to the next visit to Steve's for more amazing progress on the RS-R. I think this is one of the best car builds in the world tbh. Like project Binky without the comedy genius and slickest videos ever made. Hence it's awesome you get to revisit Steve and do show and tell with him. Nice one
If this guy took all his info and and r&r, put together and sold kits he would make a mint, modern running gear and interfaces with old styling, what a winner, its guna be awesome. This is exactly what people want.
Well what a great video Steve’s knowledge and attention to detail is at another level can’t wait to see the RSR 500 finished and I’d love to hear what your friends Paul Linfoot and Steven have to say about The RSR 500 it would be nice to get them altogether and see what they have to say nice one Adam.
I know I’ve already commented but the more I watch this video the more I think that he might aswell be speaking non English because half the stuff he talks about is 🤯but Iam 100% glue to my screen 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 I think when Paul lintfoot said he won’t be surprised if he sees a million pound cossie soon he must have been thinking of this one.
I have been following this build for a year on Facebook. With the connections you both have to Paul Linfoot I hoped you'd jump at the opportunity to document Steve's epic work. Unbelievable attention to detail!! Love the channel mate, with this video being of my favourites 👌🏼
Some really nice details in there & a monumental amount of work. Not sure about the cantilever on those rear trailing arm inner mounts...I'm sure it'll be ok but that's the fuse in that setup! Big case BM diff is a 210mm crownwheel I believe, they're tough but not cheap to build properly.
Omg Adam that was the most fascinating video I ha ever ever watched does Steve secretly work 4 NASA that bloke knows just everything what a man 2 know that car will be unbelievable when it's finished I can't wait 2 see it
Is it me or does anyone else feel a bit of pain wen they see any cosworths especially 3 door's without that famous yb lump , great content adam as always
Absolutely blown away with this build😳 So, with the shell being new and unregistered, the engine is new and probably all the suspension new, would this car be eligible to be registered as a brand new car? The idea with the monoblock center lock wheels with a bit of concave dish sounds like my kind of wheel 🥰 Can’t wait for more updates on this Adam 👍👍
The man has thought about absolutely everything. I'd love to know what his dinner plan is for the next 2 weeks 😂 Awesome video adam. I hope you do an update video later down the line (i don't have facebook)
Loved this video Adam. This guy is the willy wonka of cars.........he should be running a large British car manufacturer making the kind of cars that we all want to drive, not the site that is forced on us now 🤣
Far superior to the original, god only knows how much this will have cost once finished but it is literally a work of art ,I think if ford did re introduce the cosworth it still wouldn't be as good as this, cant wait to c this finished wat a clever clever guy he is like the allen millyard of cars!! PURE CLASS AND BRILLIANCE
Mind blowing work from Steve , im very pleased to have supplied him with the group A parts and a few other bits and bobs for this amazing project .
The parts look mega mate 👌🏼
If you shut your eyes he sounds a bit like you!🤣
One of your best vids yet Adam. Attention to detail is meticulous, what a clever bloke.
Good work on your part too, to just let him talk into detail without feeling the need to interrupt like many others do
I considered myself knowledgeable about cars, but this guy’s level of detail and knowledge has completely blown my mind! 😂 Truly impressive stuff.
Steve really is a clever fella. 🤯
The guy knows his stuff for sure !!
Not seen all of it yet but when he was talking about drivetrain angles I was like "he's not just going to bolt stuff on its he"
This is going to be very cool😊
This is a beautiful machine want to see it finished 😊

What a very modern solution to a great car build. Steve is building a great modern twist to the Sierra cosworth. Great video Adam.
What a work of art - its great there are still people in this country that can produce cars at an original manufacturers level like this - much respect.
This guy knows his stuff
I love shiny things too. Absolutely belter projects.
Steve is one smart cookie!! I could listen to him for days....!

Incredible knowledge from Steve. Mind-blowing the level of detail he is going into. Nice video, Adam

It amazes the dedication people have to make an old car fast. I would save myself the pain and have a stock Cossie and buy a new M5
