I’ve been following this guy and Auto Bionics on Facebook. Do not underestimate how much stuff has gone into this. This guy has CAD CAMED stuff to do this and the quality is the best you will ever see. Truly impressive engineering. Re engineering a icon. This would be an amazing and expensive restomod to join the likes of Singer 911, Toleman 205 GTi and the WRX recreations. He could make fortunes out of it. That level of quality and attention to detail is seriously in demand . An amazing video as well Adam, laid back and informative .👍👍
Over the years I have met folk who talk a good game & have a project car that there’s huge plans for but all it ever transpires into is talk.
This guy is on a whole level that only he operates on.

Been following this build for a while on Facebook. Slightly frustrating how long everything takes but I wouldnt have it any other way because it is down to the total unwillingness to compromise on even the slightest detail. So the time it is taking is absolutely essential. It constantly blows my mind how good this car is going to be. Certainly Ford never put out a Sierra this well made.

wow I just spent 30 minutes glued to the screen. I build a Mk2 golf 20VT back in 2005 which I had a lot of help with but Jesus this is wizardry. fascinating.

He's like Gordon Murray. Mind blowing project, I've been following since early on. Great video Adam, look forward to the next visit to Steve's for more amazing progress on the RS-R. I think this is one of the best car builds in the world tbh. Like project Binky without the comedy genius and slickest videos ever made. Hence it's awesome you get to revisit Steve and do show and tell with him. Nice one
If this guy took all his info and and r&r, put together and sold kits he would make a mint, modern running gear and interfaces with old styling, what a winner, its guna be awesome.

Adam I love old ford's in the 80's when I was serving in the forces I had fantastic 1979 MK2 Escort 1600 Sport in a sort of redish orange colour, I had a big bore exhaust put on and 4,2,1 manifold and twin weber conversion, it really needed a fifth gear for motorway cruising, Great car but rotted with rust, then I had a 1st gen Escort Turbo the all white ones, Great car but alas rotted with rust, really like your Cosworths, there's an Escort Cosworth I see occasionally around my area, it's white with bad bit of rust bottom of tailgate, Great vids keep up the good work, all the best.👍👍👍👍👍👍

Some really nice details in there & a monumental amount of work. Not sure about the cantilever on those rear trailing arm inner mounts...I'm sure it'll be ok but that's the fuse in that setup! Big case BM diff is a 210mm crownwheel I believe, they're tough but not cheap to build properly.

Far superior to the original, god only knows how much this will have cost once finished but it is literally a work of art ,I think if ford did re introduce the cosworth it still wouldn't be as good as this,cant wait to c this finished wat a clever clever guy he is like the allen millyard of cars!!
