Leftenant Hartnell and his men of the 5th British Parachute Brigade must do battle against leutnant Baumann and the soldiers of the 125th Panzergrenadier Division once more. Having repelled the German's second attack only hours before, the Paras must break through the German lines in order to stop from being surrounded again and to achieve their objective: the reinforcement of Pegasus Bridge.
Please note that for this battle report I have dispensed with showing the order dice being drawn. Rest assured that behind the scenes the usual randomised dice activation system is being observed. Moving forward the cinematic videos will be featured in this way unless, dear viewers, you clamour for its return.
Oops, my counting is off by one @17:29. I swear I'm not innumerate.
Excellent work again! @4:20 comedy gold! Thanks
Fantastic battle report. Bolt Action is very difficult to make interesting on You Tube - too much moving about between different units due to the dice being pulled. However, this story-telling video kept me interest until the end. Well done indeed.
I think that jeep driver is just a coward as it seems he always wants to twaddle around and not go to the front lines. This has been twice this has happened from both games LOL.
🤣
This is the freshest thing I've ever seen as far as battle reports go. Instant follow. Can't wait for more content.
That was great. Felt like a real story. Amazing!!!

10/10. You have inspired me to do a similar format for my own games.

A cut above the usual wargaming porn! Well done.
Brilliant, really enjoyed it, keep up the great work
Cheers mate!
I like the story arc format and narration style. However, I think the videos would benefit from an occasional top down view, like Tabletop CP does, or a more strategic overview of the battlefield. That way we can see the forest, where before there were mostly trees.
There's more use of overview-type shots in later videos. I highly recommend the first X Detachment video, another Bolt Action battle report:

Missed a wound on paras from stug mmg. There was 2 5s and a 6 on wound roll.
You make the game seem so fun! Love the Wilhelm scream. 😂. Where do you get the dead soldiers? I’d like to leave those on the tabletop when units take casualties
Cheers! The dead chaps are 3d printed, free files found on thingiverse, I believe. Got to print up a bunch more myself!
@@cinematictabletop I always liked reviewing the map after combat mission because the trail of casualties told a story. Much like your batrep!
@@c3aloha For sure, it definitely highlights the absolute carnage wreaked during the battle, especially if it was particularly hectic.
