You know, I find it really sad how people still use Elvis as some type of miraculous *tool* to gain views, attention, and financial gains. They seem to forget that he's like anyone else, a person that deserves to have peace, not this type of desecration. Give the man, that meant so much to so many, the respect he deserves.
I grew up listening to Elvis. At 10 yo my mom was buying his records and we knew every word on every album. At 26, I was listening to devastated fans crying and mourning his death for days on end, as I was renovating my first house. There hasn't been anyone who came close to his genius and captivated the world since.
If that grave was open it would be in all news media. I don’t think Priscilla would agree to this
It has not been 50 years. Elvis passed in August 1977. I was born in 1978. I am almost 46 years which means he died almost 47 years ago.

Um if I remember correctly Elvis was buried in a mosalium in the cemetery when he passed and was moved to the meditation garden later. I can't remember when. Correct me if I'm wrong.

My Godmother was friends with Elvis. She toured with him. She was at the funeral. She said it was a wax dummy in the casket. She also said there were fans at the head and foot of the casket. Elvis was originally buried in a Musuelm in the same cemetery as his Mother. They were both moved to Graceland in October 77. There had been a kidnapping attempt of his body. Supposedly the autopsy Vernon had done is to be released next year.
