the infinity gauntlet was my favorite storyline EVER. It was so fun to read, the are was amazing and the overall story was even better.

MCU THANOS MIGHT HAVE NOT GOTTEN THE “come and get me!” Moment, it’s a little bit uncharacteristic for MCU Thanos but he indeed had that NOW ICONIC SHAKESPEARIAN LIKE DIALOGUE with “you could not live with your own failure where did that bring you? back to me” damn that was so epic and gangster

Prequel to Infinity Gauntlet was Thanos Quest, NOT Infinity Crusade. The Infinity trilogy went Gauntlet, War and then Infinity Crusade, with War and Crusade dealing with the consequences of Adam Warlock holding the Gauntlet at the end of Gauntlet. Love the videos keep up the good work!

Infinity War 1992 - Magus duplicates all heroes and want to rule the Universe. He is Adam Warlock exorcized all the evil side
Infinity Crusade 1993 - Goddess divided all, heroes vs heroes. She is Adam Warlock exorcized all the good side

Thanos gained the Infinity Stones in a comic called The Thanos Quest. Infinity Crusade was the 3rd huge crossover story (after Infinity War and Infinity Gauntlet).

The beginning was actually called thanos quest, not crusade. Infinity crusade was the third and final part of the story, following infinity war.

Wait a second, earlier in the book the poster behind Cap showed Human Torch as having been dusted by the snap. How did he meet up with Iron Man, Scarlett Which and co. When he's supposed to be dead?

Because it was Johnny Storm who got blipped. The Human Torch in that panel was the original Human Torch Jim Hammond. He's a android, and at the time a member of the West Coast Avengers.

I actually have that Iron Man from Infinity Gauntlet but I got the original use of that mold. I got the Epic Heroes Iron Man from 2014. I actually think it's a bit more accurate to Infinity Gauntlet than the 2017 Retro Card Iron Man because he has the super chunky boots that Iron Man has in this story. Iron Man just getting his head torn off actually made me angry when I first read it. It made me mad that Iron Man went out that way.

I just bought my Haslab Galactus. I am very happy. Nuff said. There are a lot of Silver Surfer figures out there. I am looking for the Marvel select version with Howard the Duck. I got the re-release of the Watcher also. I have just about all of the Hulks.

Great video......but.....my opinion, to properly do justice to the Infinity Gauntlet story arc, you have to read the entire crossover set of books, starting with Silver Surfer #34 and ending with Warlock and the Infinity Watch #1. I picked up and read all 51 books last year. And i just started putting together the 52 books i need for the Infinity War crossover storyarc. Great video though!!!!

I'm wondering which Infinity storyline you're talking about. Infinity Crusade (in the original run) came after Infinity Crusade. If you're talking the original trilogy it went Infinity Gauntlet, Infinity War, and then Infinity Crusade.
I did indeed make a mistake. I was thinking of ‘Thanos Quest’.
Infinity crusade was the sequel but the prequel. I'd tell you the name of the actual prequel, but I wouldn't want to deny you the opportunity to learn for yourself.

@@DisplayingModelBehaviour Well, 90% retro to be honest. Adam Warlock originally appeared in FF# 67 as Him wearing just swim trunks again again in the same costume in Thor #166-167. He only got his classic costume later in Strange Tales. But man it was awesome!
When I read Thors first comics, I noticed Odin does not have a consistent design. Same for heimdal. No one draws them the same way twice.

The Iron Man retro doesn’t have the bell bottom like jets he does in the comics. There was that design in the Epic Heroes series which has them though. Love that one! Great video it was very fun. Did you do it for Annihilation??

I do! He was a newish Alpha Flight character at the time, reasonably popular I think. Introduced in the story arc that saw the return of Guardian/Vindicator (Mac) from supposed death, around issue 90ish.
