The videos of PTX live performance the most noise I hear is when they start a very well-known and liked song, when they finish the song and when some of them does something cool with their vocals.

E1 is his lowest recorded subharmonic note. How he can sing down from B4 to E1 live is amazing. As he gets older his voice will continue to get deeper. So maybe one day he’ll get even lower than E1. Personal opinion he’s better than Avi Kaplan and Tim Foust.
He went even further in "warriors". He hit C1-B0. he is better than Tim and Avi, but Avi's tone is superior even tho he doesn't go as low, in my opinion.
My opinion - Castellucci has a more clear tone and a more superior range. Afaik Tim Foust has gone lower than Castellucci. Avi Kaplan's runs are his selling point.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but it sounds like he's using a growl at the end instead of subharmonics like the studio version. Still doesn't take away from how impressive it is

If you tell me your insta I can dm them to you and save you the time. One was uploaded on the 24th November (good audio) and the other about a day or two ago (poor audio). There’s also a recording of what’s this, with Geoff getting the G#1 in chest. With a significantly better tone than before (but poor audio)

I am literally so impressed that Geoff Castelucci has the consistency to remain on key live even on his most difficult notes to date. There are high notes in this song that are near the top of his range and low notes that are near the presumed bottom of his range. It's one thing to be able to hit those notes in studio because you have as many attempts as required to get one perfect and you just use that one. Live is a completely different ballgame because not only do you have to sing the perfect run like in studio but you also may be dealing with stage nerves or worse, technical difficulties. O_O But either way, I'm just impressed Geoff is such a talented and practiced singer.

These days, people forget that before iPhones existed, we had GPS technology, flashlights, portable computers, cameras, etc. That technology didn't go away. A good smartphone is an indispensable tool, but there are *far* superior video cameras, portable computers, and flashlights out there (trying to use a phone as a flashlight is a great way to get a cracked screen, by the way).
Geof has to be one of the most talented and versatile vocalists. And this is from years ago, I want to see this redone since he’s gotten so much more controlled. I mean, he did Jacks Lament basically just to show off because that was like nothing Ive ever seen. Even here, he does a B4 in his chest voice, when most guys hit it in falsetto AND his last not was to low the mic couldn’t pick it up. There are so many top notch vocalists out there and he right right at the top

Most microphones aren’t going to have a good frequency response at 40 Hz, other than ones specifically designed for it.
