JASON DIMEBAG her performances are way better now amd you can be sure its because she is happy and living the way she wants to. Hoping to catch this new tour.
It was clear to anybody who saw Keith perform or who met him in person what a troubled soul he was. Just watch his stage performances where he shuffles around apparently lost in his own little world. If changing to Mina was what was needed to save him (and it almost certainly was) then you've got to support the actions she took. Seeing them perform now it's just so obvious how much happier she is and long may it continue.
Having lived in San Francisco for twenty years, I've seen that same type of transformation a thousand times, from absolute misery, to being to enjoy life, once the outside matches the inside. More power to Mina for being able to slay her own personal demon.
This song shows why the 9th step is vital for those of us in recovery. Just getting sober isn't good enough, we have to do our best to undo the damage we caused to those around us

One of director Francis Lawrence's ("Constantine", I Am Legend", "Water For Elephants" most recent Hunger Games movie) early music videos made for very little money. I produced this video. Loved this band and got instantly hooked up since the very first time I saw this video on the late Video Music's INDIES. That break at 1:24 to 1:38 and the song speedin up into the 1st chorus "You said, "I've got time" But you ain't got time for me" is just freakin awesome. Best mix ever of heavy doomy metal and melodic hardcore.
I went to a concert with these guys in Copenhagen in 1996 with my then-girlfriend (who was a big fan of the band). A really nice experience. I remember him looking a bit melancholic wearing a flat/paddy cap.
When all is said and done I'll always be your son But all is not forgiven Well I'm on my knees pleading Just 'cause I'm grown you think I don't need Much more than what you've ever given me [Chorus] So when we gonna get together Seems there's no time for me You act like you got forever You've got time, but you ain't got time for me You said you've got time But you ain't got time for me Now that you've gone and tossed The bottle away now will ya Start a new life with the new wife Well she'll never be my mother I suppose that you know you oughta Remember the ones you left behind [Chorus] You're just letting it slip away now You act like things are fine I know you think you've been born again But this time You're leaving your son behind This time This time This time
A fantastic metal song! These guys get it!! Fast, slow, deep/dark lyrics, excellent vocals, superb drums with a guitar solo..... a classic!!! I am old enough to have experienced the birth of metal in 1968 and this song rates!!
well my friend i couldn't agree more with you on this one...i too went through more shit at that time in my life then i wouldn't wish upon my worst of enemies..physical, mental and emotionally couldnt come to grips with reality..i was ready to give up..give in..i jumped on my bike...cranked THIS album up..and FOUND myself again..yes,you couldnt be more correct with "mans greatest gift is music"to help him through hardships..rock on jguitarz1..never give up hope
That voice... One of the best songs of the 90's for me, up there with some songs from the big four of grunge, Metallica, Failure,... And a great album, still listen to it (along with the rest of their discography) to this day. The new album is pretty good too! Gonna watch their set at With Full Force now, it's on TH-cam. Cheers from Belgium !
This song was me and my father. He quit drinking, after my mom died, forgot about me, got remarried and I turned into a monster. Fortunately for us, my wife's mother (God bless her) wouldn't let us get married until I reconciled thing's with my dad. He came to our wedding, got to know his granddaughter, and became my dad again. He passed away in 2012 and there's not a time I here this song that I don't hate myself for wasting nearly a decade hating him. I wish I had the sense to have gotten back in his life sooner. I'm only glad I finally did.
This is still an absolute banger after three decades, with lyrics that I find HIGHLY relatable to my personal experience.

Hell yeah🤘
Wow.
Thanx YT to bring randomly back so good memories!
This whole album is badass. A definite must for any metal head or hard rock fan.
I went to a concert with these guys in Copenhagen in 1996 with my then-girlfriend (who was a big fan of the band). A really nice experience. I remember him looking a bit melancholic wearing a flat/paddy cap.
When all is said and done
I'll always be your son
But all is not forgiven
Well I'm on my knees pleading
Just 'cause I'm grown you think I don't need
Much more than what you've ever given me
[Chorus]
So when we gonna get together
Seems there's no time for me
You act like you got forever
You've got time, but you ain't got time for me
You said you've got time
But you ain't got time for me
Now that you've gone and tossed
The bottle away now will ya
Start a new life with the new wife
Well she'll never be my mother
I suppose that you know you oughta
Remember the ones you left behind
[Chorus]
You're just letting it slip away now
You act like things are fine
I know you think you've been born again
But this time
You're leaving your son behind
This time
This time
This time
Great band , great album ...wish them all the best
A fantastic metal song! These guys get it!! Fast, slow, deep/dark lyrics, excellent vocals, superb drums with a guitar solo..... a classic!!! I am old enough to have experienced the birth of metal in 1968 and this song rates!!
I'm STILL dealing with memories/nightmares of my older brother abusing me in every possible way. Killing him at the time seemed but .l
Im new to LOA, im discovering music that my soul just wants to grab and put it on rotation in my inner blaster
I LOVE THIS BAND, THEIR HYBRID "GROOVE-CROOSOVER-GRUNGE-BLUES-HARD-ALTERNATIVE" FUSION MUSIC IS UNIQUE AND COOL
I love the lyrics, in this song specifically, "I'll always be your son" I think odd it's a definite point maker. Haha.
well my friend i couldn't agree more with you on this one...i too went through more shit at that time in my life then i wouldn't wish upon my worst of enemies..physical, mental and emotionally couldnt come to grips with reality..i was ready to give up..give in..i jumped on my bike...cranked THIS album up..and FOUND myself again..yes,you couldnt be more correct with "mans greatest gift is music"to help him through hardships..rock on jguitarz1..never give up hope
Music does not get more intense than this.
Beautiful! I miss these times. Great band
studio 1, newark nj. fing crazy. still play this album start to finish
Definitely my favorite song from this band! Definitely a great 👍 message! Always Love, Brother Christopher.
