I like that you showed the drilling the dpf mate as it’s something I do regularly as like you say the temp sensors seize in solid it’s so much less hassle to drill and weld it diesels are a pain in the arse non stop problems when I worked for man truck and bus I quickly realised what crap diesels really are lol
Thanks for Video, I just bought Hiace 2015 diesel got DPF and van run around 300K my question is which engine oil do i need to use "0w-30w" (even is run 300K) did not found anything on manual all written in Japanese pls can you help . thanks
What is the name of the product, I can't see it in the video? Only for DPF, it is not possible to pour it before the catalytic converter and clean both?
You’re so right mate modern diesels and I’m talking 2008 onwards are absolute junk here in the uk were so glad that diesels are being totally phased out for petrol and hybrid petrol i service Toyota Prius’s regularly and they do 190k miles plus for fun

Petrol Hiace only. Steer clear of the diesels. Generally the petrol Hiace is a solid workhorse. Love your videos Phil.

Check online we use Castrol
Can’t see the point of a DPF. Save all the nasties up, just to release them later on.
Most of the modern diesels that smoke are due to DPF problems.

It Is Tunap , and it was just for diesel.
If I ever buy another diesel with a dpf ima weld a vband on each side of it so I can just pull it off and clean it with ease
I will be buggered if I will buy a new diesel, seems like they are real headache these days.
