SEVENTIME yeah, What a year he had, screwed out of the Coca-Cola 600 but gotten redemption four days later to get his first win, then get the All-Star Win, and winning both Rovals on the schedule (since Sanoma and WG were cancelled due to COVID-19), and now getting all the way to the path of Champion. Chase 1 (Elliott) is phenomenal, can’t wait to see Chase 2 (Briscoe) join the Cup Series.
To all you chase haters he drove his heart out the last 2 weeks he wasn't handed this on a silver plater srs he started in the back had to drive to the front. To all you haters hes here to stay great job chase 1 down 6 more ill be counting down the days till next season starts

I think he had the better car, but watch where chase sets Joey up to make the pass. He started that pass in turns 1 and 2 on that lap by running the line and speed he did. He could have tried getting alongside him going down the back straightaway, but he chose to force Joey to go into turn 3 slightly faster than Joey wanted to go.
