Let me know what video recommendations you have in the comments down below, Stay Super, and goodbye, see you guys later!
Imagine just driving to work that day and you see the 9 car passing by.
That would be so epic
@@TheSuperSquad I would lose it
I got nascar heat 5 yesterday and I’m just driving 9 me: sees this video epic
Imagine hearing it too
@@TheSuperSquad insert screaming*
Unfortunately, dirty air prevented Chase Elliott from passing the cameraman
Nah, he was just holding back so he could save some fuel and manage his tires, while waiting for just the right moment to make his move.
@@michaelmurray7199 ye
lol
Lol
Theres a car that has a cam in the back that chase is behind
This gave me chills. My dad introduced me to NASCAR as a youngster. We rooted for Million Dollar Bill all the way to his retirement. From there we started rooting for the newest 9, Kasey Kahne. My dad tells me one day "Hey son! Bill Elliott's son Chase is coming up to the big stage and will be driving the number 9!" To see father and son win titles is amazing. Couldn't have happened to a nicer family. Respect from a proud GA. BOY!!!!
I started watching nascar in 1995
My older cousin got me into it we were Dale Earnhardt fans
@Fisher Matthews yes
Me too loving it
I did the same thing. I was first a fan of Davey Allison RIP, then Loved Awesome Bill, then when Kahne took over that ride I started pulling for him. Now I’m back to being another Elliott fan. This is awesome to see.
Lol...Wild Bill from Dawsonville ...
You can't help be feel happy for the Chase, especially when he does a burn out in the middle of town.
Exactly what other driver would’ve did that in their hometown
Bet that wasn't the first burn out he did in the middle of town.
@@stevecleveland6644 2018 after the glen
nooope I hate the guy to the bone, and that’s my opinion, the dude wrecks Hamlin only because Hamlin accidentally wrecked him at martinsville in 2017 and that’s stupid he’s trying to get revenge for no reason, and the guy is way to damn overrated
Mickey Elliot is driving to the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse
I have a feeling that wasn't his first time doing burnouts In the streets of Dawsonville
It isint I live there only if i was in the vid you cant see me smh
I have a feeling he’s done far more in Blairsville
It seriously seems like the WHOLE town of Dawsonville came out to see Elliot, that is freaking awesome
A true Country Boy getting to do what all of us only Dream of doing😁❤️🇺🇸.
@diascrive have you ever been to Dawsonville,Georgia?? It’s a rural community, and they roll up the streets at Dark.He is a throwback to his Dad and Uncle Ernie😁. He comes from a humble family and is Grateful for his heritage🇺🇸.
Amen
@diascrive shut up up you stupid prepneck
@@rodkemp1136 Humble family with a ton of money and fame. They don't call his daddy Million Dollar Bill for nothing!!
@@vlobvloblvlov3664 But Bill worked hard to get to this point in his life!! Chase is a very Lucky Man to be driving for Hendricks Motorsports, but Rick has an excellent eye for Talent😁🇺🇸, Jeff Gordon, Terry Labonte, Jimmy Johnson, Darrell Waltrip🔥.Dale Jr.
It's a crying shame there'll be no Championship Banquet this year. The ratings would have shattered previous records simply due to the Elliot's family's incredible reputation! Congrats on a well deserved Championship to Mr. H and the entire #9 Team!
Can you imagine doing so great that your entire hometown comes out like that? Only a few will ever experience this kind of thing!!
Shits dope I’m happy for the guy
Congratulations Chase!!! You can do it, and be your dad's new era of Elliot!!! #9 See you next year, i'm gonna miss jimmie Johnson
#48 Forever
@Nikolaus fucking finally. The amount of assholes that let him do this but then want to give their bullshit 2 cents on other topics. Look at all thos people that could get covid. Fucking great
@Nikolaus I live locally too and he's not as big of a star here as people think...Dawsonville is only about the outlet mall to outsiders...not knocking his win..but he really needed the cops to close off the roundabout?? why not just have an authentic drive through Dawson County...He really tried to hype up something that just isn't here..maybe with a few old locals. but that's about it..
Proud to be his neighbor! Knew him before he got famous & recognize those roads. Where else could you have a car museum, city offices & a Moonshine Still in the same building? Y'all come visit Dawsonville, you'll like it!
Edit: my grandsons school attended this event. Shout out to Gordon Pirkle, owner of The Pool Room & keeper of the torch for racing hall of fame!
Lots of people watching don’t know how legendary this video is. A legend’s son making history and returning to the birthplace of the very sport itself to something us Dawson boys wish we could have done for years. Burnouts in front of the pool room haha. So proud, wish chase nothing but success, happiness and health.
I'm a Ford fan, but that Camaro is PRETTY
Fords suk
May I ask why ?
@@Nc3three all my life had fords ..all lemons ..
I’m sorry you have had a bad experience with the FMC. Unfortunately, you were the exception to the rule.
@@Nc3three LMAO ...
Couldn't have happened to a more deserving chap. Well done.
They treat him like a king, it's like he's from there or something...
He is from dawsonville
...yes, that was the joke...
They sound a siren when he wins a race as hometown support. They used to do the same for his father. If you ever get that way go to the Dawsonville pool hall and try a bully burger.
I got the joke but i was busy with work and completely ingored the fact that it was a joke and i know when he wins the siren sounds i live in dawsonville i went to the ceremony
@@eltravieso9513 I love going to Dawsonville, and it was during the Charlotte Roval race and when he won they sounded a siren that is true
You might not believe me but I went to this and it was WONDERFUL
Cool!!!
I believe you! 😎
The Life is a Highway song (I know, it's a cover of it.) fitted so well... And it kinda feels like McQueen is looking for Mack, doesn't it?
Been there several times. Bill had a fan club appreciation day every year after the fall Atlanta race at their race shop. Maybe someday Chase can do something similar. Got my sons picture with Chase at the grand opening of the race museum. They were 8 years old.
3:00 That's why Chase is the people's champ!
It brings me comfort that the living ledgend Bill Elliott has passed down his talent and passion for driving to his son Chase nascar is a fraturnity of men and women that keeps the sport alive from one generation to the next.at 55 I have seen this sport evolve from it's near beginning to it's highest high to it's lowest lows it's drivers like Chase that's going to keep this sport alive
If I saw the number 9 rolling down my neighborhood say boogity boogity there goes the champ
Kinda thinking about coming back to Nascar and rooting for this kid after about a 10 year break. Was glad to turn on a race see bill Elliot's son in there and no goofy waltrips announcing
I'll bet that he wishes he had a car like this to just, "Show Off" with when he was growing up. Happy for him and proud parents.
Umm....... he had a warehouse full of em. ELLIOTT. As in offspring of BILL ELLIOTT!
That young man had WHATEVER HE WANTED . Of course he had access to whatever type of race car he wanted to drive . I have been a fan of his dad for
ever , i stopped watching when he retired , only Chase brought me back .
he had tons of cars wen he was a kid his dad is bill elliot he prob been racing since he was in diapers
@@jeffleblanc8850 I'm sure he had cars growing up, but none like this, with the meaning behind it, driving on village streets, with all his family of Georgians around, no other championship he may win in the future will ever compare to this.
I was a big fan of Bill and Ernie (even bought a red 84 T bird back in the day, been watching this kid of 5 or 6 yrs now he impresses as a person first, then comes the driving talent, wish you all the happiness your heart can stand Chase
Looks like he’s not use to staying in the line lanes
Man👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Was born in 99 was a rainbow warrior till he retired... Chase took over that was my guy. Chase then went to the 9 I had to choose I slept on it, and chose to stick with him in the 9 letting go of the 24.
Never saw Jeff in his championship except the last one tho I was too young... This is so special I'm from a small town as well.
That litterly the whole town man. And for my guy Chase cuz he 2020 Nascar Champion!!
I WAS THERE WHEN THAT HAPPENED!!!! Cuz I live in Georgia
Grew up in Dawson. Makes me proud.
@diascrive Dawsonville.
@Elitesoulfly1 Soul Bill did'nt fall to far, around 2011 I sat by him in the stands at Montgomery Speedway while Chase was driving there, so he was around the short tracks some.
@Elitesoulfly1 Soul Felt the same way these Georgia boys do when Alan Kulwicki won the championship. Awesome Bill won the last race but Alan led the most laps by one over Bill. Congratulations Chase and the Georgia boys.
Me too I grown up in Dawsonville and it was so amazing to watch him drive the 9 car and get handed the key to the city of Dawsonville
Chase Elliott = Lightning McQueen
Or Chase Racelott.
Or Rick stonehouse
I Congrats Chase For Championship.
Hi Erik Jones
@@ksosier Hello
Hey Erik jones have fun at RPM this season, maybe that team will win some races now with a real driver in the car
this is what makes nascar great . can ya imagine any other sportsman allowing fans to join in and celebrate that up close and personal . congrats to everybody involved 😁
Been nearly a week and it still almost feels like a dream. Champions man!!
about to be 2 weeks and I'm still celebrating in awe.
For us Dawsonville boys, this sure makes us proud. I love my home. History made by the legends that come from the birthplace! Way to go Chase, is Dawson boys could not be happier.
I regret not driving 3 hours to go to this😂
I'm about 45 mins and I regret it.
Is Dawsonville near Atlanta? Cause I think I'm like an hour away from there but I don't know how far it is away. Should have asked my parents to go tho.
@@jdubs5975 58.7 miles 1 hour 7 mins basically straight up 400 Most of the way
@@jodysales2362 Shit, I regret not going big time lol. Live like 2 hours away.
Congrats on all the views!
Thanks!!!
I don't cry! But damnit!!
Plot twist: He was just driving home and forgot to switch cars.
The taking your title winning car to your hometown needs to become a NASCAR tradition.
Now that makes me proud to be a fellow Georgian!! Congratulations Chase, We all knew it was just a matter of time when you would bring the Elliot name back to the Championship Winners Circle!!
That there is awesome man. Glad your favorite driver won the championship :)
Thank you :)
This Rascal Flatts remix lowkey slaps though
The 7 thumbs down were from 3 Hamlin and 4 Logano fans
Lol
This was the coolest video of 2020 Champion Chase Elliott I've ever seen way to go Chase all hail to the Road Course king of NASCAR
If you ever plan to go to Dawsonville, plan to go during the Moonshine Festival. It is awesome. I go there for the diecast, and nice scenery.
Congrats to Chase Elliott on that championship, he was my pick all season so yeah
Ya ok
Im Dale sr fan to this day. I gritted my teeth many a sunday when ole Bill would wear our asses out in that thunderchicken coors mellin #9. But wathching this brought a big tear filled smile to my face. I love this kid. Congrats chase! U da man! I got a feeling if dale was stil around you probably would have gotten a big ole headlock hug from the ole damn ba@#ard by now. He loved driving and winning and knew a good wheelman when he saw one, any one.
@@frankweatherford6848 Dale jr had that same eye, three men that drove for him are now cup champions
Brad Keselowski
Martin Truex Jr
and that young man right there
this so cool good job 👍😎
This is amazing and so heartfelt! Can’t think of anyone more deserving to have on the NASCAR Championship! I pray this is just the beginning of many more! In a year or so many ups and downs, so nice to see that nice, hard working guy from a genuine small town family really can finish first! I can’t even imagine how proud his parents are of him! I am so happy he won and NASCAR is blessed to have him as the face of their sport now! Go Chase! You did it buddy! Woohoooo!!
Yes sir chase Elliott that I fan of 9 first time of Championship
Thank you Chase Elliott for making one great thing happen in 2020! 💙💛💙💛💙
The Life it's a Highway in the background brings nostalgia jeez
I noticed he ran a couple stop signs and didn't use his turn signals... :-) :-) Really happy for him and his team!!
the people of Dawsonville Georgia better get used to doing this on a yearly basis!
First started following NASCAR in 1985 when I was 11 and rooted for "Awesome Bill". So cool to see his kid succeed and seem to be such a genuine, level-headed, and humble Champion.....much like his dad.
Thats awesome🤘🏻🏁
I'm so glad Chase Elliott won the Championship. My father was a big time Bill Elliott fan & he was so happy when I told him Bill Elliotts son was racing NASCAR. In such a short time Chase Elliott has become a NASCAR Champion....thats Awesome . This young man is so humble , for him to drive through his home town, in his race car really shows that he is proud of his small town roots & he damn well should be. Stay Humble young man , your future looks very promising. 🍻 Cheers to ya champ !!!
NASCAR should do a street course race this makes me think of that watching Chase drive through Dawsonville like this
They are going to be running 6 road course races and 1 dirt track race at Bristol next year. Haven't followed the sport for about 9 years now. Saw my first race in 1973 at Bristol when Cale led every lap. The sport just changed to much for me.
@@TheJer1963 Yeah I know - Everything changes and evolves its life
Bruh i just realized THATS NOT EVEN THE ONES THE USE ON THE TRACK ITS JUST A SHOW CAR 😂😂😂😂
They probably didn't wanna accidentally have a chance of messing it up the real one since they're probably gonna put it in the HMS museum
@@TheSuperSquad That or NASCAR was still inspecting the winning car when this parade happened. I imagine they're going to take their time with it assuming it's the championship-winning race.
@@bagnome nah that already finished before this happened
@@TheSuperSquad yes you're correct about that. The winning car I think is stored "as is" for 1 year, with all the dried on confetti and adult beverages that were sprayed all over it. It's damn cool either way.
Still would be cool and fun to see congrats chase and that was awesome 👌
That car isnt street legal he needs to be pulled over and ticketed for no plates, registration, or insurance
I'm sure it doesn't pass emissions or have dot approved tires, and no lights. But they would have a hard time catching him
The cops were in volved in this event so yeha
This was actually pretty cool!
This was absolutely AWESOME....Bill! Congratulations to Chase! I personally boycotted this season but glad to see the results. NASCAR should stay out of politics. Glad to see the real grass roots if racing stayed to the truth. Lucas Oil & World of Outlaw Dirt Late Models have had a resurgence in popularity....we Pray & We Stand for the National Anthem...Everyone....Every Time!
The song fits perfectly too, now let's see if like in cars he becomes a 7 timer lol I think he will
Super Cool and well deserved. And his Pop was badass too!
Awesome kid!!
Just glad he did it in a Chevy.
This is badass. CONGRATS. CHASE!!!! I KNOW BILL IS SO HAPPY FOR YOU!!!
So proud of Chase he is such an amazing guy and race car driver congratulations on your first cup series championship win
Damn good job ,, damn proud and god bless you and the family,, NEVER EVER STOP FIGHTING,, EVER ,, thanks and puttem in the wall,, the dad and mom was awesome 👏
Two 👍👍 congratulations on your winning the cup, and for showing your town what they mean to you
The song used in the video though. My favorite song from my favorite band ever. Life is a Highway by Rascal Flatts from the Cars soundtrack and also from Me and My Gang and Greatest Hits volume one.
I saw that before, thats cool
Real question is Any shine in the trunk?
I'm glad chase is celebrating this championship cuz you never know if this could be his last win and championship
Javlikz won’t be his last this boy has got amazing talent and driving for an amazing team.
He's got many more wins and many more championships coming believe me he's only 25 years old he is the third youngest NASCAR champion
The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree! Congratulations to Chase and the Elliot family!
CHEVY , ONLY AND ALWAYS .
This is so cool honestly this kind of experience for a small town must be awesome. Looks a lot like any small town in America. Looks exactly like where I came from to be honest
Coolest f.#cking thing I’ve ever seen! Couldn’t have happened to a better man. You earned it Chase!
AWESOME
2020 first gave us covid19, quarantine, JJ's retirement from NASCAR, but there is now a light at the end thanks to Chase Elliott and HMS team 9! Then he goes home to celebrate! Oh how awesome that was! Can't wait for next year! You got this man, more race wins and championships are waiting for you to claim!
I still remember that "passing of the torch" moment of Jimmie congratulating Chase. Poetry.
LOL! Life is a Highway Remix.
Chase is going to be a great champion
The only person better than Chase it is the cameraman because Chase couldn’t even make a move because the cameraman is the best
Two years late but congratulations hope the trip was fun
And the thing is he was just going around pit road speed😂
Something tells me they will not be the last time Chase will be doing burnouts in the city center
Or the first time he did
Congratulations there champ
2020 CHAMPION YEAAAAH GO CHASE ELLIOTT
Love the cars pulled over for the procession, nice.
NAPA’s Championship Day Parade.
Holy shit that gave me shivers!!!! And I'm a 2 car fan
Go chase
You go chase.
Wow! That’s Amazing
I tend to rewatch this video cuz of how good that car looks
🤗 So happy!
Block the road to do donuts lol I wish cops help me out 🤣😂
This is awesome 🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟. Congrats chase
Growing up as a Bill Elliott fan in 1988 he was the reason why I rooted for him. Imagine you see Chase Elliott driving by your block and all of the kids running after him. Congratulations Chase Elliott!
Imagine him being an Uber driver and marking his car as Chevrolet Camaro so his passenger would think a normal sports car would pick him up
Congratulations chase keep it up
I’ve seen it on Instagram recently and that celebration was amazing!
I still cannot believe that my favorite driver won his first championship. Great job Chase!!
