- A discussion on the difference between Reiki and Meditation. Meditation is a mind based practice whereas Reiki is energy based and doesn't necessarily include the mind and its activities. The outcomes can be very similar and the way I talk about it probably sounds quite similar as my interest often combines the two.

I really appreciate your explanations and description of your personal background. I’m just starting to figure out how to get started with reiki and am glad to have found your channel.
Real.. sweet... Danke ❤
This was incredibly helpful (as have so many of your videos) and exceedingly timely for me. I came to Reiki on a different path, beginning with animal communication. Then I got my level 1 Let the Animal Lead (hands off) animal Reiki certification. I have always believed that to offer Reiki you have to be in a deeply meditative space, and so if my mind is too distracted with thoughts, or if i am in a bad mood, I would not be able to offer Reiki to my animals. I believe that attunement is really activation of energy that is already inside us, not something that comes in at the crown Chakra. So last night I was distracted in my thoughts but I still felt the Reiki in my hands and in the space around me. I think my guinea pigs felt it as well, even though I was not in a strictly meditative space. Is that possible?
Thanks for this question! I did a video on it here: th-cam.com/video/9k5i194eH2s/w-d-xo.htmlsi=mv41p71naUGH-Ss7
Thank you for this. Can it help vagus nerve and nervous system generally?
I can't speak specifically about the vagus or nervous system from a biological viewpoint, but certainly I feel it settles my entire system very well and I feel balanced and in harmony with myself and life around me.
